We were amazed how quite it was. Our room was directly across the hallway from the elevator and we barely heard any sound, let alone noise. The one thing I would change is possible is the width of the parking spaces. The car fits, but most of the spaces barely allow people to open the car doors to get in or out. Way too narrow for most of the spaces. There were a few more spacious slots, but not many.

Absolute beautiful property, great amenities, breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning, and I got to reserve the hot tub for a half hour and that was a cherry on top of an already great stay. Can’t wait to come back.

I liked the breakfast service to the room. Offering robes was nice. Parking was tough. Very tight. Convenient location. Good access to the beach. Having to reserve the hot tub was both good and bad. Didn't like that the lobby and sitting area was locked down at night. People who don't sleep well should be able to use the cozy area. Beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff was great. Very clean! Most places don't service the rooms anymore if you stay multiple nights so that was nice. Full size coffee was good.

Convenient, nice place to stay near beach. Place was clean and comfortable. We were able to get a half hour hot tub spot but it was last one. If this is important to you book it early.

The man at the front desk who checked us in was great. He was super friendly and welcoming, and then he upgraded us to a nicer room even though we had made neither a request nor a complaint, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our room is clean, spacious and attractive. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean, the fireplace and the bathrobes. Breakfast is brought to your room on a tray, and the hot tub is private as you book the time you want to use it so you have it to yourself. it takes very little time to get onto the beach, just a quick crossing of a parking lot. They were accommodating of our dog as well, with a pet area outside and treats inside. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel was great. We had an ocean view. The staff was really friendly! You can reserve the hot tub to yourself! Dog friendly. We dont recommend the breakfast, but we still picked at It every morning. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Overall great stay!!

We have stayed here many times thru the years but this trip was not so good. The first night we settled in to our room pulled back the sheets and my wife saw a horrible stain on our sheet. Not a good start called down to have someone come up and change the sheet and they said they had a sheet and would be up but she said she has never changed a bed. She brought it up and my wife and I said we would change the sheet ourselves she did asked if she could help. Then day two we didn’t have house cleaning clean our room and went on with our day. We came back to the Inn at a little after4 and asked the man if we could get another package of coffee and a extra towel sense we didn’t have them clean our room and he said that housekeeping was gone and couldn’t get us towels. Morning of day three came and it sounded like the room above us on the 5th floor was working out starting at 5:30. It wasn’t very pleasant especially for my wife. This trip to the Inn was not the best that we have had and sad because it opened the door to have to look at other options at the coast. Just going the extra mile on service didn’t happen on this trip.

The stay was tolerable. Bed was very uncomfortable. There was pubic hair in the shower upon arrival and toenail clippings in the room. It says ocean view on the advertisement, but what they don’t mention is the hotel in front has the whole ocean view. This room on the fourth level should be called roof view. Don’t even waste your time on the cold bagel they deliver.

Shearwater Inn is consistently superior in their concierge-style boutique hotel feel. Beautifully styled interior accommodations are especially appealing, the property and the hotel rooms are impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the extras. The exemplary service is second to none. My daughter and I have been returning guests for years now. We just love everything about Shearwater Inn, and we find it to be a step above any other accommodations along the Lincoln City coastline. We can’t wait to return soon.

We love this place. I just have two complaints. One is the awful shower heads. They turned them from real shower heads to an adjustable bar with a handheld version. They’re too low for me at the highest adjustment. The second is the tv. It seems mainly streaming. I don’t do a lot of streaming so it takes a long time to get what we need…if I use that streaming service. Could not figure out how to just get good old cable tv going. Just too complicated for this old guy.

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon! The staff was pleasant; however, we probably wouldn't consider staying here again unless it was during the off season (winter, fall or spring maybe). We were woken up on Saturday morning to the delivery trucks across the way for Kyllo's as well as that following night due to drunk people hanging out in the parking lot of Kyllo's. Those two things have nothing to do with the hotel itself other than location and the fact that all hotels with a balcony face the parking lot of Kyllo's. For us, we would've chosen to stay somewhere a little more quiet for a couple hundred more.

Great location with easy beach access. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the waves from the chairs near the fireplace in our room. The room was a tad bit dated and we opted to skip the limited breakfast options and have went out to a full service breakfast. Considering it was the coast, we felt the price was reasonable and would stay there again.

I felt right at home and relaxed within minutes of my arrival. Everything was beyond my expectations and made for a perfect stay. I cannot wait to come back again! Bed was very cozy, sheets were divine, everything was clean and the fireplace was a very welcome extra. Breakfast was brought to our door in the morning, another wonderful surprise. Perfect location, perfect everything.

I loved my stay. The room was beautiful with extra amenities, such as a fireplace, jet tub, and partial ocean view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Laying in bed with the fireplace on and being able to hear the ocean waves was soothing and allowed me to sleep well. The restaurant next-door is excellent. I would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Nice hotel with partial ocean view. Unfortunately there is a restaurant and condo building blocking part of the view, but you can see a nice portion of the ocean from the balcony. Helpful staff and comfortable bed. Gas fireplace. Walkable to beach, although steep at points unless you walk around to the public beach access point. WiFi was not great and the ice machine was broken, as well as a problem opening the balcony door. Breakfast included but standard packaged breakfast items (not great). Overall for the price, it was a nice room with lots of space and a decent, if partial, view.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon. Micheal was working the front desk. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient with me & my 91 year old mom, who just wanted to see the ocean one more time. He made our stay exactly what we needed. Thank you!

On the first night of my stay I returned to the hotel at 11:30pm and found myself locked out of the hotel. The emergency intercom malfunctioned and I didn't know what else to do so I called the police and the hotel staff retaliated against me because they were angry. The hotel staff was so nasty and rude to me until they found out that I was checking out early and then they became so friendly it was sickening. I will never ever stay there again.

The man at the front desk who checked us in was great. He was super friendly and welcoming, and then he upgraded us to a nicer room even though we had made neither a request nor a complaint, which was a very pleasant surprise. Our room is clean, spacious and attractive. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean, the fireplace and the bathrobes. Breakfast is brought to your room on a tray, and the hot tub is private as you book the time you want to use it so you have it to yourself. it takes very little time to get onto the beach, just a quick crossing of a parking lot. They were accommodating of our dog as well, with a pet area outside and treats inside. We would definitely stay again.

Check in was not available at 4. Ocean view is parking lots below. Hard to reach front desk, they don’t pick up. Had to go down to front desk to tell them tv wasn’t working. Kind of inconvenient. WiFi is very s l o w! Pull very hard if you want the shower water to come on. For the price, things should work properly. But it was clean.

Shearwater Inn is consistently superior in their concierge-style boutique hotel feel. The exemplary service is second to none. My daughter and I have been returning guests for years now. Clean room, great amenities, continental breakfast delivered to the room, friendly staff. I had made the assumption, based on pictures and online descriptions that the property was on the ocean front, but there is a parking lot and a couple of buildings in between the room and the ocean. I only say something so expectations are set - there is nothing wrong or that the owners could do differently. There is still great beach access and I woke up to the sounds of the waves. I loved the fireplace and padio, and the rate was very reasonable. Overall highly recommended! Will be back.

Property is located right by a restaurant, a bit noisy, and next to main road, also noisy. Our "ocean view" was between 2 buildings that were in front of us. Staff was wonderful, breakfast good, not as good as other hotels that offer breakfast, but it was brought to us in our room.

This hotel is smack dab in the middle of a busy area of the beach, where parking for a few different hotels and a restaurant converge, as well as directly adjacent to a beach access point. That means it is not necessarily a quiet and peaceful stay. That said, it is SO worth it and actually pretty awesome. The amenities and amazing service (like breakfast to your room) plus the convenience make it worthwhile and even fun. Loved being able to park easily and to walk across the lot to an astounding restaurant. And while the ocean views are not unobstructed, the sea is right there, and it’s so much fun to see families and others enjoying it. I usually stay in much more secluded spots but I really loved this place. It is beautifully appointed, comfortable and top notch in every way. I would recommend. Extra shout outs to the wonderful staff.

It was great for beach access. The restaurant next door was convenient and pretty tasty for seafood. Very clean, and enjoyed the balcony and fireplace. The breakfast was lacking, would have liked it better if there was a little bit more to choose from, and more to eat.

Usually take reviews as folks opinions who's needs, tastes, and perspectives are different. I look for trends, timeframes, etc. This place was truly great. Room clean. Covered parking (lot was a little difficult to navigate on a motorcycle). But an excellent place. Breakfast in room was great. Did use fireplace. Ocean sound was nice. I would stay here again. I would strongly recommend to others. I would bring family here. All in all, pleasant surprise.

Very clean, beautiful big units. Quiet, serene with fireplace in room. Loved it. Breakfast was really lame though, only choices were granola, boiled egg (just one) and an overly-sweet yogurt or bagel. When they say “breakfast included”, they’re joking with you.

A choice of bagel, yogurt and juice, doesn’t cut it with picking a time of delivery to your room to your room. People also want to go out at different times unannounced and your lobby is closed from 10 pm till 8 am, not a fan of that either. At the price of a room the customer is getting short changed.

This hotel was great. We had an ocean view. The staff was really friendly! You can reserve the hot tub to yourself! Dog friendly. We dont recommend the breakfast, but we still picked at It every morning. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Overall great stay!!

Enjoyed our 4 night stay but would have thought being there that long, the garbage would have been taken out once or twice, a refill of the shower body wash would have been helpful and a clean set of bathroom towels could have been offered in that time and there would have been enough coffee packets for the entire stay.
