We got there around 10pm to check in and we were surprised by a line of over 10 groups of people in the lobby. The poor front desk worker was the only one there trying to check everyone in. Long wait which was annoying but worker was helpful in explaining everything. Rooms were clean and no complaints. Room keys were finnickey (i spelled that wrong) and they worked for our room but not consistently for other places like the breakfast room. Hot tub was broken which was disappointing. Overall, it's good price for simple, clean stay.

We weren’t informed that the property was under construction. The hot tub wasn’t working and some of the walkways were blocked off because they need repairs. The hotel was older and hasn’t been updated in years.

Liked the late check out at noon. Great breakfast choices. Property well lit. Don't enjoy that the hot tub is and one of the elevator is down. Don't enjoy the bridge connecting the two building is sectioned off. Front desk african receptionist wasn't very friendly. Room was clean but bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and loose tile. Location was close to alot of amenities.

I have stayed at this property at least 10 times over the padt years. This time screen was broken on the window with bird poop all over it, the room smelt musty, and there was black mold in the bathroom. Over all the room was not very clean, in the padt i really liked the property. When i reported the issues to the front desk clerk, she replied she would let management know. I will pay a hundred dollars more a night to stay at another property before i ever stay there again.

The AC rattled and buzzed. The toilet ran all night. The window was filthy. The bathroom had pills of black dirt in all the corners. The carpet was dirty and the place smelled of urine everywhere.

I really loved this hotel. It was nice clean quiet and comfortable. I felt safe. My son loves the breakfast. We overall had a great time. Walmart is close as well as a lot of shops and fast food spots. Its just great over all.

This hotel is very cheap, the only reason I booked with Lompoc Valley Inn and Suites. You really got what you paid for. The room smells very moldy, everything is old and outdated. The AC made a loud noise all night, I couldn't sleep until 5AM. The bath tub is clogged or slow drain, th water stayed in the tub for hours... The breakfast is ok, nothing fancy. But it's in a separate small room, SO SO SO crowded, we had to wait 30 minutes in the lines... For the price we paid, still not worth it as we barely slept, the moldy smell and very loud AC.

It's convenient and close to the main street. We had to be moved to another room because of the smell and it could need more cleaning and upgrades on the furniture and bathroom. Pillows were to hight. It would be nice to have lower ones for people with neck problems.

The a/c in the room was loud, and you could not change the tempature to your liking you had to choose one of the preset (which was too warm or cold). Weird smell in the rooms and halls.

The room was average, the bathroom small. The toilet was very low and my husband and I had a hard time using it. (we're in our seventies), The furniture was a little dusty. My one complaint is the wall air conditioner/heater. It was very noisy and it kept waking me up all night!!!

Room was extremely outdated. Air conditioning didn’t work. Refrigerator was working so out loud, I couldn’t even sleep. Also shower was not warm enough. So no, not staying there ever again.

When you approach the location, the exterior looks OK. When you get closer, you see many areas where the wood is falling off the exterior or needs to be replaced. When we checked in, there was one person handling, a very long line, (over 20 people) phones, and a person with a credit card issue. She was the highlight of the trip. She handled it very well. But why management only has one person doing this is beyond me. There were people laying on the grass in the front of the facility. When we walked through the hallways, there were at least 3 people who I counted laying in the hallway. Many of the doors in the hallway were ajar. Didn't feel safe. Seems like there were people who lived at the hotel, and not passing through. Trashcans outside were filling over and had lots of trash on the ground. When we went down for breakfast, they ran out of most of the food, so we went elsewhere. So as you can see, we will not be going back and would not recommend.

The property is dated, but absolutely 5 stars for excellent customer service. We drove up to see the rocket launch. When I called at 10pm to see if someone would be at the front desk when we arrived at 1am, the lady on the phone was cheerful and assured us no problem. When we arrived there was a man at the desk. He was an absolute pleasure to interact with- giving us maps and guidance on where best to see the rocket take off from Vandenberg. He was awesome. The room was fine, no neighbors. Super convenient hotel location to getting around. Just a cool little Inn at an affordable price with people that are helpful and kind.

Front desk people lacks customer service. They are not friendly and pleasant in welcoming the guests, Even when checking out they would not even bother to acknowledge you and they will just tell you to leave the room key on the counter. Ambience in the hotel is gloomy and not relaxing. I don't recommend staying in this place and will NOT stay there next time i go to Lompoc.

The attendant tried to tell me she couldn't rent me a room because i lived within 25 miles. She was trying to make me get a refund, but i had paid in full with a hotel.com gift card. She was sort of forced to let us stay at that point. I thought that was really rude.

Although the guests below me were noisy, this was made up for by the extremely accomidating front office staff. They were able to move my room to a corner, the hotel let me do late check out, and the house keepers were super respectful

Clean room and tidy-up very nice every day. Breakfast attendant was on top of everything making sure it was fresh and refilled. Front desk was very polite, and helpful, even to the point of printing for me a couple of personal email single page documents.

The hotel is centrally located to major shopping and quick eats in a small town. It is only a 5 minute drive to downtown and other restaurants. There were not many bookings while we were there so the rooms beside us were empty leaving us with a quiet space.

Really did like the hotel, however, Motel 6 was right next door amd I saw all kinds of stuff going on over there in the parking lot. It was a bit uncomfortable, but no one bothered me. I was fine.

What I like is the price, and honestly we have stayed in several Airbnbs in Solcan, Los Olivos, San Ynez, and Buelton. We would recommend it if you are in need of a hotel during the busy season, It is a a few minutes away from Solvang but the scenery is worth it. It is quiet and the customer service was great. Not a fan of the breakfast because you have Solvang near and can get your delicious pastries and coffee in the main town. But if you are in a budget and have kids and or traveling in a huge group check the breakfast area. Anyways, the price is good when you cannot find something for 1 night or two and all other hotels are 200+ a night. Might not be fancy but it is quiet and me and my husband had a good night rest.

Hospitality room very crowded, no place to sit. Took cereal & milk to room, NO COFFEE available. Good TV, nice desk/chair with good lighting. Karen who checked me in was managing the 4 PM rush with patience, efficiency & apologies.

This hotel proved to be a great surprise...super friendly staff, large rooms, very clean and a free breakfast that went well beyond what is normally offered, with fresh food being offered throughout the designated time, not just at the start as is often the case.

Hotel was a little dated but it was very comfortable and good selection of breakfast. The woman with burgundy hair who worked in the kitchen (I didn’t get her name) went above and beyond, she provided us with excellent customer service! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
