Abbiamo soggiornato in un monolocale vista mare. Il monolocale era pulito, letto comodo, fornito dei vari saponi in mini contenitori usa e getta, sia in cucina che in bagno. La vista era molto bella e l’appartamento insonorizzato, ottimo considerando che il monolocale dà sulla strada (tra l’edificio ed il mare c’è una strada) molto trafficata, sia di notte che di giorno. Gli accessi principali degli edifici (sono due stabili) sono proprio su questa strada abbastanza pericolosa e stretta, dopo delle curve, con macchine e moto che corrono. Per parcheggiare la macchina davanti all’ingresso di uno degli edifici (è davvero difficile parcheggiare in zona) il costo è di 20€ ed è necessario lasciare le chiavi della macchina al parcheggiatore dell’albergo, il quale non ti sa dire se la sposterà e dove la sposterà, era alquanto disorganizzato. I servizi aggiuntivi sono veramente cari, la colazione viene 25€ a persona.

After a suggestion from a friend and lot of YouTube videos, we picked Maiori instead of Positano or Amalfi or Sorrento for our vacation to Amalfi coast. This decision provided to be the right choice. Below are pros and cons of Residence Due Torri Pros 1. Clean and convenient staff available round the clock. 2. Two decent sized bedrooms for a family of 4. 3. Fantastic sea side view with balcony for each bedroom. The sea breeze and night time waves were soothing. 4. Kitchen with cutlery, plates, spoons, glasses, coffee cups with a 4 burner gas range, sink and refrigerator. Iron box and 2 washers for no extra charge available. 5. Quick walk to Maiori central. Hotel provides shuttle for a minimal fee to Maiori central, Maiori port and Minori. 6. Great restaurant with beautiful view on top floor of Hotel Due Torri 7. Longest beach in Amalfi coast with many beach clubs. One of them has a small pool too for after beach swim and kids. Cons 1. AC was not working for a few days. The technician was not able to diagnose the issue. 2. The hotel is situated at a hair bend turn and hence one needs to be careful in crossing the road or when walking to the beaches. 3. Mammato was the only decent restaurant in the area. 4. Ferry goes from Amalfi in 10mins and the change to another ferry for Positano. Not a big deal though.

We were meant to stay at residence due Torri but we upgraded to stay at their hotel once we were there. Best decision ever!!! The area of the hotel is very quiet, considering it’s the amalfi coast. They give an amazing breakfast in the morning with fancy coffee and all with a sea view. The pool area is also super nice. Definitely recommend it!

Note that you are not staying at the actual hotel, but at the apartments a few yards away. This means that there is no staff on site and you will not have access to the hotel amenities. The studio was clean and comfortable but somewhat outdated. The bathroom shower door was barely hanging on and the toilet seat was loose. Aside from that, the views are incredible and the town is a short walk away. The room suited our needs for a short stay.

I had booked this hotel online because of the reviews and pictures of the views. They did not disappoint, it’s stunning there. We didn’t know there were two sides to the hotel, the hotel side and the residence side. Our room was on the residence side that isn’t nearly as cozy, and you are not allowed to use the hotels pool which was disappointing. So for that reason I would pick the hotel side. If you do stay at the residence there are small kitchens, and laundry facility in the 6th floor, and big balconies. We made the best of it. There is a private beach just passed the residence entrance 20 meters up the road steep stairs that go down. Go there!!! It’s absolutely perfect, I was told not to go due to the wind and the beach club being closed but I’m so glad I did it was perfection. But the road by the Residence is dangerous, you have to be brave and smart and really pay attention when crossing and walking beside the road. The cars go fast, there is no visibility, and really watch out for busses one went so close to me it about swiped me. Maiori is a small town and it’s totally worth walking down there to enjoy gelato, views and food and there are several good grocery stores near by. I walked up and down many times :) My husband was also very sick so I ended up dining by myself, which was a bummer since we were there to celebrate his 50th. But each night at dinner Emiliano the waiter and Emanuele the bar tender went above and beyond for me. I felt so taken care of. Gratzia

Nos colocaram num anexo ao hotel, isolados dos serviços, não tínhamos acesso à piscina nem sabemos o que mais existia no hotel. Não tinha portaria e até água no quarto era difícil de conseguir, pois o hotel é bem isolado e a máquina de repor água e outras bebidas não tinha água. As toalhas eram ridículas, eram roupas de cama de tecido, não exugavam nada. para trocar as toalhas e limpar o quarto teríamos de pagar uma taxa adicional num valor substancial. Nada disso tinha sido informado na reserva. Inacreditável, nunca ví isso em nenhum lugar do mundo. O que salvou a estadia foi a tentativa, sempre gentil, do empregados em nos ajudar.

Location on the edge of the cliff is nice, however it is far from everything. There is a shuttle but they charge a fee for each use. Also, the beach is a dangerous walk on the highway to get to and there is a pretty hefty fee to use it. The part of the hotel open to Expedia users feels like a 2nd class citizen acomodations. Entrance is through the service area. I would not recommend to any family.

Ants everywhere. Black mold in bathroom. Have to pay if you want additional towels or have the room serviced. Amazing views. Staff very friendly. The shuttle into town was very helpful. Maiori is older so it was nice to be out of the town.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Just outside town so it’s a bit less chaotic but an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Room was clean except the shower didn’t drain well. A little confusing where to put the car while checking in down below but nice to store the car inside and off the road. Would stay here again.

A little walk to get to manori down a skinny road . They have a shuttle service for 5 euros to the town . Studio apt . No microwave. No condiments at all . (Salt and p or sugar) Price was good!

Sea view off balcony priceless. A little loud during the day because it sits above a tight turn on the road & busses beep horn as a warning they’ll be taking up both lanes but they stop running eventually and all is good

After a suggestion from a friend and lot of YouTube videos, we picked Maiori instead of Positano or Amalfi or Sorrento for our vacation to Amalfi coast. This decision provided to be the right choice. Below are pros and cons of Residence Due Torri Pros 1. Clean and convenient staff available round the clock. 2. Two decent sized bedrooms for a family of 4. 3. Fantastic sea side view with balcony for each bedroom. The sea breeze and night time waves were soothing. 4. Kitchen with cutlery, plates, spoons, glasses, coffee cups with a 4 burner gas range, sink and refrigerator. Iron box and 2 washers for no extra charge available. 5. Quick walk to Maiori central. Hotel provides shuttle for a minimal fee to Maiori central, Maiori port and Minori. 6. Great restaurant with beautiful view on top floor of Hotel Due Torri 7. Longest beach in Amalfi coast with many beach clubs. One of them has a small pool too for after beach swim and kids. Cons 1. AC was not working for a few days. Our room here was wonderful! The view from the bedroom and the kitchen was spectacular. From checkin, to questions, and to check out the staff was helpful and available. They had parking underneath the building, which was convenient. We left the car there and walked, and we also took the bus to the other coastal towns. Much easier than driving. The room was spacious and we enjoyed coffee and breakfast out on the patio. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return :-)

I had booked this hotel online because of the reviews and pictures of the views. They did not disappoint, it’s stunning there. We didn’t know there were two sides to the hotel, the hotel side and the residence side. Our room was on the residence side that isn’t nearly as cozy, and you are not allowed to use the hotels pool which was disappointing. So for that reason I would pick the hotel side. If you do stay at the residence there are small kitchens, and laundry facility in the 6th floor, and big balconies. We made the best of it. There is a private beach just passed the residence entrance 20 meters up the road steep stairs that go down. Go there!!! It’s absolutely perfect, I was told not to go due to the wind and the beach club being closed but I’m so glad I did it was perfection. But the road by the Residence is dangerous, you have to be brave and smart and really pay attention when crossing and walking beside the road. The cars go fast, there is no visibility, and really watch out for busses one went so close to me it about swiped me. Maiori is a small town and it’s totally worth walking down there to enjoy gelato, views and food and there are several good grocery stores near by. I walked up and down many times :) My husband was also very sick so I ended up dining by myself, which was a bummer since we were there to celebrate his 50th. It was a bit noisy because the guests next door were using their balcony at night. We had trouble sleeping a few nights. Otherwise everything else was great especially the view from our ocean view room!

Our room here was wonderful! The view from the bedroom and the kitchen was spectacular. From checkin, to questions, and to check out the staff was helpful and available. They had parking underneath the building, which was convenient. We left the car there and walked, and we also took the bus to the other coastal towns. Much easier than driving. The room was spacious and we enjoyed coffee and breakfast out on the patio. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return :-)

We stayed 4 nights at Residence Due Torri- it was nice to be in one place for awhile after bouncing from stay to stay. The front desk was very helpful when we had the untimely loss of a phone on a bus- they made several phone calls in our stead, & we actually got the phone back when it turned up at the local police station! As for the room, it was very nice with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to save some money by having breakfasts in the studio after hitting the local supermarket for milk, cereal & snacks. All in all a great stay at a very reasonable price for a place practically on the water !

This is the strangest place I have ever stayed at. The property has two locations, this one that I stayed at is very empty and there is no front desk person present. You must call the front desk at the other location for anything that you need. It was obvious that the other location was definitely their priority. There was parking but you must call for your car at least 30 min before you need it. You will not have access to the car unless they get it for you. Within the first 5 minutes of arriving to my room the electricity went out. It was pitch black in the room and as my husband and I fumbled around to find our cell phones for the flashlights, it felt as if we were in some sort of horror film. The electricity was restored after a few minutes but wow what a scare especially since the hotel seems abandoned. The hotel has no turn down service and does NOT provide clean towels daily. So take care of your towel because there is a $12 charge if you request any new towels and more if you want your bed sheets changed. When I called the front desk about the towels the women was extremely rude and said I should have read the fine print about additional charges for towels. I told her I didn’t know and could she ask the manager if we could have them this one time. She called me back and said the manager said no. The hospitality at the hotel was terrible. They make it seem like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there completely disregarding that we are paying customers.

Nos colocaram num anexo ao hotel, isolados dos serviços, não tínhamos acesso à piscina nem sabemos o que mais existia no hotel. Não tinha portaria e até água no quarto era difícil de conseguir, pois o hotel é bem isolado e a máquina de repor água e outras bebidas não tinha água. As toalhas eram ridículas, eram roupas de cama de tecido, não exugavam nada. para trocar as toalhas e limpar o quarto teríamos de pagar uma taxa adicional num valor substancial. Nada disso tinha sido informado na reserva. Inacreditável, nunca ví isso em nenhum lugar do mundo. O que salvou a estadia foi a tentativa, sempre gentil, do empregados em nos ajudar.

Sea view off balcony priceless. A little loud during the day because it sits above a tight turn on the road & busses beep horn as a warning they’ll be taking up both lanes but they stop running eventually and all is good

The location was perfect and the views were amazing! Easy walk (or shuttle) to the center of town for shopping or dining. The breakfast buffet was so good! We liked that Maiori is one of the quieter towns along the coastline - with options to travel to Amalfi, Positano or Capri Island when we chose to do so. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get away from the crowds.

Residence molto carino, con vista stupenda sul mare di Maiori, e a poca distanza dal centro ( neanche 10 minuti a piedi). Lì vicino c’è l’hotel 2 torri dove si può usufruire di colazione, pranzo e cena ( pagamento a parte, e la qualità veramente ottima). Staff molto cordiale e disponibile per tutte le informazioni che abbiamo chiesto. C’è la possibilità di avere lettini e ombrellone sia sul lungomare di Maiori che in una spiaggietta privata, anche se non è esclusivamente dell’hotel, poiché c’è anche una piccola porzione di spiaggia libera. L’unica pecca forse è la posizione un po’ sulla strada, che rende leggermente pericoloso il cammino visto che ci sono curve, ma basta un minimo di accortezza in più. Per il resto siamo stati benissimo, spero di tornarci presto.

There is a private beach just passed the residence entrance 20 meters up the road steep stairs that go down. Go there!!! It’s absolutely perfect, I was told not to go due to the wind and the beach club being closed but I’m so glad I did it was perfection. But the road by the Residence is dangerous, you have to be brave and smart and really pay attention when crossing and walking beside the road. The cars go fast, there is no visibility, and really watch out for busses one went so close to me it about swiped me. Maiori is a small town and it’s totally worth walking down there to enjoy gelato, views and food and there are several good grocery stores near by. I walked up and down many times :) My husband was also very sick so I ended up dining by myself, which was a bummer since we were there to celebrate his 50th. But each night at dinner Emiliano the waiter and Emanuele the bar tender went above and beyond for me. I felt so taken care of. Gratzia

Location on the edge of the cliff is nice, however it is far from everything. There is a shuttle but they charge a fee for each use. Also, the beach is a dangerous walk on the highway to get to and there is a pretty hefty fee to use it. The part of the hotel open to Expedia users feels like a 2nd class citizen acomodations. Entrance is through the service area. I would not recommend to any family.

Abbiamo soggiornato in un monolocale vista mare. Il monolocale era pulito, letto comodo, fornito dei vari saponi in mini contenitori usa e getta, sia in cucina che in bagno. La vista era molto bella e l’appartamento insonorizzato, ottimo considerando che il monolocale dà sulla strada (tra l’edificio ed il mare c’è una strada) molto trafficata, sia di notte che di giorno. Gli accessi principali degli edifici (sono due stabili) sono proprio su questa strada abbastanza pericolosa e stretta, dopo delle curve, con macchine e moto che corrono. Per parcheggiare la macchina davanti all’ingresso di uno degli edifici (è davvero difficile parcheggiare in zona) il costo è di 20€ ed è necessario lasciare le chiavi della macchina al parcheggiatore dell’albergo, il quale non ti sa dire se la sposterà e dove la sposterà, era alquanto disorganizzato. I servizi aggiuntivi sono veramente cari, la colazione viene 25€ a persona.

The location was perfect and the views were amazing! Easy walk (or shuttle) to the center of town for shopping or dining. The breakfast buffet was so good! We liked that Maiori is one of the quieter towns along the coastline - with options to travel to Amalfi, Positano or Capri Island when we chose to do so. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get away from the crowds.

After a suggestion from a friend and lot of YouTube videos, we picked Maiori instead of Positano or Amalfi or Sorrento for our vacation to Amalfi coast. This decision provided to be the right choice. Below are pros and cons of Residence Due Torri Pros 1. Clean and convenient staff available round the clock. 2. Two decent sized bedrooms for a family of 4. 3. Fantastic sea side view with balcony for each bedroom. The sea breeze and night time waves were soothing. 4. Kitchen with cutlery, plates, spoons, glasses, coffee cups with a 4 burner gas range, sink and refrigerator. Iron box and 2 washers for no extra charge available. 5. Quick walk to Maiori central. Hotel provides shuttle for a minimal fee to Maiori central, Maiori port and Minori. 6. Great restaurant with beautiful view on top floor of Hotel Due Torri 7. Longest beach in Amalfi coast with many beach clubs. One of them has a small pool too for after beach swim and kids. Cons 1. AC was not working for a few days. The technician was not able to diagnose the issue. 2. The hotel is situated at a hair bend turn and hence one needs to be careful in crossing the road or when walking to the beaches. 3. Mammato was the only decent restaurant in the area. 4. Ferry goes from Amalfi in 10mins and the change to another ferry for Positano. Not a big deal though.

We were meant to stay at residence due Torri but we upgraded to stay at their hotel once we were there. Best decision ever!!! The area of the hotel is very quiet, considering it’s the amalfi coast. They give an amazing breakfast in the morning with fancy coffee and all with a sea view. The pool area is also super nice. Definitely recommend it!

Residence molto carino, con vista stupenda sul mare di Maiori, e a poca distanza dal centro ( neanche 10 minuti a piedi). Lì vicino c’è l’hotel 2 torri dove si può usufruire di colazione, pranzo e cena ( pagamento a parte, e la qualità veramente ottima). Staff molto cordiale e disponibile per tutte le informazioni che abbiamo chiesto. C’è la possibilità di avere lettini e ombrellone sia sul lungomare di Maiori che in una spiaggietta privata, anche se non è esclusivamente dell’hotel, poiché c’è anche una piccola porzione di spiaggia libera. L’unica pecca forse è la posizione un po’ sulla strada, che rende leggermente pericoloso il cammino visto che ci sono curve, ma basta un minimo di accortezza in più. Per il resto siamo stati benissimo, spero di tornarci presto.

I had booked this hotel online because of the reviews and pictures of the views. They did not disappoint, it’s stunning there. We didn’t know there were two sides to the hotel, the hotel side and the residence side. Our room was on the residence side that isn’t nearly as cozy, and you are not allowed to use the hotels pool which was disappointing. So for that reason I would pick the hotel side. If you do stay at the residence there are small kitchens, and laundry facility in the 6th floor, and big balconies. We made the best of it. Beautiful location and property on the coast. Very spacious room with large kitchenette. Staff were very friendly and professional. Excellent menu options and dining (lunch, dinner and breakfast). Easy walk down some stairs to a local beach.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a lot of knowledge of the area and how to get transportation. The room is an old apartment so one room is in the kitchen. It was a nice kitchen so if you wanted to cook you could. It is close to town and the beach down the busy road.
