We were two families with 3 kids ages, (2) ages 7 and 9. We loved the pool, access to the ocean, the kids club and nightly entertainment. There was also a mini mart on site in case tou need souvenirs or forgot to bring a swimsuit. We also used the spa for a body scrub, massage and my little one got a chocolate massage which she loved. The spa was great. We upgraded to the higher drinks option, we got bottled water, bottled wine, extra toiletries and robes with slippers. The desserts were great, there was wine and beer on tap. The crepes were great. I personally didn’t like the food on the buffet, it looked great but compared to what Greek food taste like everywhere this was a disappointment. There was also a restaurant close by walking distance less than 2 minutes with another beach in case you wanted something different. Overall a good stay.

Beautiful room (superior maisonette) with plenty of room for a family of 4. Great pools, particularly in the newer blocks for swimming (lane pool), food was good but not excellent. Entertainment was good, particularly the music quiz, acrobats and Greek night. Drinks service was good too and much better if you do the upgrade package which we did part way through our holiday. Not much going on round the hotel so I’d recommend hiring a car and a visit to Kournas lake to see the turtles.

La struttura è davvero confortevole. È composta da tre plessi distinti: il primo attaccato alla spiaggia, il secondo alle sue spalle in cui si trova la piscina grande e il terzo (più nuovo) un po' più distante, composto principalmente di camere con piscina privata. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nel primo, che risulta il più comodo per chi preferisce andare al mare. Ottima la formula all-inclusive, con ristoranti (tre) molto assortiti e con prodotti di discreta qualità. La proposta è molto simile nel complesso, ma variano le portate principali cucinate al momento. Quello della struttura più distante dal mare propone una pizza "mangiabile", anche per gli standard italiani. Non abbiamo usufruito del ristorante a pagamento presente sul terrazzo del secondo complesso. Le camere sono belle e molto pulite. La nostra camera 4109 aveva l'accesso diretto al bar della spiaggia, molto comodo per i bambini che potevano uscire anche da soli per raggiungere l'area giochi esterna, restando sotto il nostro sguardo vigile. Unica nota sotto la sufficienza è stata l'animazione, quasi inesistente per gli adulti e piuttosto scarsa per i bambini. Nel complesso una struttura molto bella, che conquisterebbe ancora più valore se migliorasse la gestione dei ragazzi, lasciando i genitori un po' più liberi. La posizione è ottima, a circa 15 min dal centro di Chania. Bella la spiaggia privata, direttamente accessibile (a meno di 50 metri) dalle camere. Ci sono la Spa, due palestre, padel, tennis e sala giochi

In general great place to stay with small children, great facilities, fun events for children. Swimming pools are anyone can desire, outside, inside non heated, inside heated. If one wants beach that is also available, sandy strip is just 500m away to the side if necessary. Staff is really polite and helpful, buffet all inclusive food is not boring and selection can satisfy most i am sure. Rooms are clean and on top of that they are cleaned every day, new towels, fresh floor. Absolutely recomended, this was our favourite when compare to similar price Mallorca or Sardinia resorts that we have visited before.

Dieses Hotel ist leider in jeder Hinsicht eine Katastrophe. Absolut kein 5 Sterne Standard. Selbst 2 Sterne würde ich in Frage stellen. Es ist mir ein absolutes Rätsel wie all die guten Bewertungen entstehen konnten und ich stelle mir die Frage ob es hier mit Rechten Dingen zugegangen sein kann. Der Check In war unfreundlich und man wurde schnell abgefertigt. Wir sind dann in unser Zimmer gegangen und erfuhren schon da Ernüchterung, Sauberkeit sieht anders aus. Zudem stank es aus der Toilette nach Schwefel/faulen Eiern. Dann sind wir zum Mittagessen gegangen. Absolut laute Kantinenatmosphäre. Die Auswahl am Essen ist sehr eingeschränkt, die Qualität ist eine Katastrophe. Wir haben uns geekelt und wollten dort gar nicht essen. Das Besteck ist oft schmutzig, die Gläser zum Teil auch (angetrocknete Orangensaftreste). Der Strand ist ungepflegt und voller Federn. Die Qualität der Getränke ist schlecht und ungenießbar, egal ob im Restaurant oder an den Strandbars, egal ob normales All Inclusive oder „Premium All Inclusive“ (diese Premium All Inclusive ist absolut lächerlich; wir haben es leider gebucht). Die Fliesen im Pool sind unglaublich rutschig und es sind einige Gäste schwer gestürzt. Die gesamte Anlage ist nicht gepflegt, das Personal ist desinteressiert, gelangweilt und zum Teil auch noch unhöflich. Alles in allem eine Katastrophe und ich hoffe sehr, dass ich einigen mit dieser Rezension helfen konnte. Wir haben den Aufenthalt nach 2 Tage abgebrochen!

Great family resort. My 5 year old loved the kids club and activities. Pools were lovely temperature (though the water slides one was cold) All inclusive wasn’t the best I’ve had. Breakfast and lunch were fine but by dinner we preferred to leave the hotel. If you go right along the beach there was an excellent place for dinner and cocktails. Overall a good hotel. We had a great time and my 5 year had the best holiday which is the main thing!

Sehr schön ist der neueste Teil der Hotelanlage, auch das Restaurant dort hat ein tolles Ambiente. Die Zimmer mit eigenem Pool sind geräumig, modern und einfach ein Traum. Leider ist der alte Teil des Hotels schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und der Strandbereich könnte neuen Liegen dringend benötigen. Hier besteht wirklich Bedarf. Das Meer an der Anlage ist ein Traum!

Superbe hôtel ambiance familiale. Piscines propres, acces direct a la mer, des transats disponibles a n'importe quelle heure au mois de juillet. Plusieurs choix de restaurants, il ne manque jamais de place ni de choix dans la nourriture de bonne qualité. La chambre propre et fonctionnelle. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, les enfants ont adoré.

Das Resort ist sehr schön, besonders die 3 Pools und Restaurants. Strand geht so, sehr klein und ziemlich schmutzig. Das Essen und die Getränke waren nur semi, es war extrem viel Auswahl aber die Qualität war nicht so gut.

Sehr schöne Anlage, die noch etwas ausbaufähig ist. Es ist alles neu, sauber und die Zimmer sehr schön. Für ein 5 Sterne Resort ist aber noch Luft nach oben vor allem bei der Verpflegung. Die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sehr minderwertig. Oft Pressfleisch vor allem beim Aufschnitt, Hamburger etc. die Getränke sowohl in den Restaurants als auch an der Bar sind von billigster Qualität. Was auch noch zu erwähnen ist ist der Geruch der Handtücher und das sehr kalte Wasser in allen Pools. Positiv zu erwähnen sind definitiv alle Angestellten. Vor allem die Bardamen von Pool 2 und die Animateure Farid, Noam und Janis - toller Job! Unterm Strich war es ein gelungener Urlaub, danke Kiani Beach Resort!

La nostra camera 4109 aveva l'accesso diretto al bar della spiaggia, molto comodo per i bambini che potevano uscire anche da soli per raggiungere l'area giochi esterna, restando sotto il nostro sguardo vigile. Unica nota sotto la sufficienza è stata l'animazione, quasi inesistente per gli adulti e piuttosto scarsa per i bambini. Nel complesso una struttura molto bella, che conquisterebbe ancora più valore se migliorasse la gestione dei ragazzi, lasciando i genitori un po' più liberi. La posizione è ottima, a circa 15 min dal centro di Chania. Bella la spiaggia privata, direttamente accessibile (a meno di 50 metri) dalle camere. I had a wonderful time at this all inclusive resort. I was here for my birthday. The staff decorated my room when I was at lunch, and then made me a cake for after dinner. Wonderful staff. Good choices at meal times, but a little sparse at the snack bars. I got a Cretan massage at the health spa and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean, as were the grounds in general. Beautiful big pools. The magic show by Magic Chris on Friday night was excellent. Great fun for kids and adults. Highly recommended.

Hotel was great, well kept and our room had a wonderful view. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Pools were lovely. Reception staff blasé about customer care, food was mediocre and the beer was either flat (restaurant) or too frothy(pool bar) and not particularly cold. All the little things were lacking. We tried to put in an early morning breakfast request at 8pm and they said they couldn’t do it because it had to be in by 7pm, but we could see the handwritten list still. No slippers or robes. Bathroom tub was very dated and leaked in the bathroom. Exhaust fan was filthy. Fan didn’t work (maintenance was quick to fix) TVs didn’t work (maintenance was quick). Doors don’t deadbolt. Safe was locked and had to be opened. Shampoo dispenser didn’t work. Food wasn’t great. Beach was nice and chairs were easy to get and there were lots of pool toys available. No service on the pool deck or beach.

Very clean & updated. Rooms were impressive & spacious for a couple the day bed area was fantastic. (Enough space for 2 kids to sleep in the day bed area) - excellent for families. Amenities very nice - plenty of beach & beach chairs no need to rub shoulders Food was great - worth upgrading to the VIP drinks package if you like to have a few. Within striking distance of chania so plenty to see and do off the resort, fun night time activists, plenty of pool space, Resort was fully booked but there was still room to move. 10/10!

We spent 2 weeks at Kiani Beach Resort in June as a family with 2 kids, staying in a premium room with private pool. The room was modern, clean, and spacious, but the first impression was poor: only a refilled bottle of water in the fridge, no minibar, and weak AC. KBR2 was the cleanest and offered the best variety, while KBR3 served fresh pizza. The constant fruit supply was a highlight for the kids. Drinks and coffee in the standard all-inclusive were very poor, with bottled water or even a Greek frappé available through an “All-Inclusive Plus” upgrade (€20/day per adult). This felt unreasonable for a 5-star all-inclusive in Greece. The hotel is perfectly pleaaant but lacks the nuanced touches of a genuine 5 star. Some ameneties such as the playground and playarea are tired but the food in the restaurants is hearty and satisfying. Our room with a pool was lovely for a family of three and modern.

Beautiful room (superior maisonette) with plenty of room for a family of 4. Great pools, particularly in the newer blocks for swimming (lane pool), food was good but not excellent. Entertainment was good, particularly the music quiz, acrobats and Greek night. Drinks service was good too and much better if you do the upgrade package which we did part way through our holiday. Not much going on round the hotel so I’d recommend hiring a car and a visit to Kournas lake to see the turtles.

I was told I was going to get a reply on the last day of my stay if they could offer part of the price as a refund, it it took me maybe ten emails, a bad review and even a job application before someone replied and told me that they didn’t want to help me. Not even close to a five star experience. Avoid this place and find someone who cares about their reputation and their customers.

We stayed 5 nights in a superior massionette room in the newer part of the hotel. The hotel was generally good. The room was spacious and nice. Our safe was left locked by the previous people and our showers did not drain. One leaked all over the floor. The other kept water in the bottom basin which actually caused the shower door to not open, you were a prisoner in the shower for some time after shower. The pool areas and beach were nice. The food was all buffet but was pretty good overall. The biggest thing we didn’t like was the all inclusive drink options were absolutely terrible. The wine was not drinkable, really bad, The beer was fine. The cocktails were a short list of 5 or so unless you paid extra. Almost no kid drink options besides pop and a few juice. Overall it was good. If you’re going there to enjoy some drinks by the pool you may enjoy the pool but you won’t like the drinks.

Sehr schön ist der neueste Teil der Hotelanlage, auch das Restaurant dort hat ein tolles Ambiente. Die Zimmer mit eigenem Pool sind geräumig, modern und einfach ein Traum. Leider ist der alte Teil des Hotels schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und der Strandbereich könnte neuen Liegen dringend benötigen. Hier besteht wirklich Bedarf. Das Meer an der Anlage ist ein Traum!

We were really disappointed in this resort. It was very sterile and chaotic. The room would not get cool (in July heat), the shower water temperature was extremely inconsistent, the bedding gave my daughter a rash, there were wasps everywhere outside of the pool, we did not get a map of the property or any hospitality, the food was really bad. We left after two nights (had booked 7 nights) and they would not give us a refund.

We were two families with 3 kids ages, (2) ages 7 and 9. We loved the pool, access to the ocean, the kids club and nightly entertainment. There was also a mini mart on site in case tou need souvenirs or forgot to bring a swimsuit. We also used the spa for a body scrub, massage and my little one got a chocolate massage which she loved. The spa was great. We upgraded to the higher drinks option, we got bottled water, bottled wine, extra toiletries and robes with slippers. The desserts were great, there was wine and beer on tap. The crepes were great. I personally didn’t like the food on the buffet, it looked great but compared to what Greek food taste like everywhere this was a disappointment. There was also a restaurant close by walking distance less than 2 minutes with another beach in case you wanted something different. Overall a good stay.

Accueil chaleureux par Elena qui a su résoudre rapidement et professionnellement notre petit soucis de type de chambre réservée. Belle rencontre avec Roberto et Bijay, serveurs au Beach bar, qui ont toujours servi avec le sourire Un bravo particulier à M Spyros, responsable du restaurant KBR3, pour son accueil professionnel et toujours avec un petit mot attentionné. Le restaurant est très bien tenu et son staff très à l écoute. Les autres restaurants sont également bons et bien gérés Petite suggestion, il serait agréable d’avoir les repas principaux affichés à un endroit afin d’éviter de se rendre dans chaque restaurant pour se rendre compte des plats servis dans ces derniers. Note chambre avec piscine privative était super agréable et le personnel de ménage au top.

Unfortunately the Roof Top Restaurant was closed during our stay but the very helpful staff were quick to compensate for the unfortunate circumstances. In general the staff was very helpful and friendly. They are also very good with kids as it seems like they all like kids and are very good at smiling, waving and entertain them. The facilities are nice and there are lots of activities for the kids. These activities however are for kids from 4 years and above, I would say. The food was delicious and it was nice that a chef was cooking different kinds of meals every night. So all in all we're very happy with the stay and had a really good time.
My girlfriend, our daughter and I had a great stay. We had a room with a beautiful view and decided to upgrade to VIP all inclusive which we really enjoyed. Great 4 night stay! Elefteria and Angelina (I think was her name) were very welcoming and upgraded our moms to the loft so they could be closer to us and the grandkids. Very friendly and helpful staff but the food and hotel premise is at 3star resort not a 5star. We highly recommend this place if you’re traveling w kids and large families.

We spent 2 weeks at Kiani Beach Resort in June as a family with 2 kids, staying in a premium room with private pool. The room was modern, clean, and spacious, but the first impression was poor: only a refilled bottle of water in the fridge, no minibar, and weak AC. Despite staff advice to keep it running all day with a second card, evenings were uncomfortably hot, and we often had to open windows to cool the room. Other issues included a broken safe, faulty window lock, and a pool shower connected to hot water. Guest relations were disappointing. A followup call from management after 1w felt defensive, even implying we didn’t know how to use the safe or window. Food was average. KBR2 was the cleanest and offered the best variety, while KBR3 served fresh pizza. The constant fruit supply was a highlight for the kids. Drinks and coffee in the standard all-inclusive were very poor, with bottled water or even a Greek frappé available through an “All-Inclusive Plus” upgrade (€20/day per adult). This felt unreasonable for a 5-star all-inclusive in Greece. Positives: the Kids Club was excellent, with Lili and team running fun programs, and special thanks to Mr. Giorgos, Mr. Spiros, Mr. Anestis, Ms. Anka, and Ms. Betty for their real Greek hospitality. Negatives: stony, poorly groomed beach with only ~45 beach loungers for 1000 guests, weekly change of beach towels, hygiene issues (self-service ice cream, shared cloths for cleaning tables and seats), and a overpriced mini market.

È composta da tre plessi distinti: il primo attaccato alla spiaggia, il secondo alle sue spalle in cui si trova la piscina grande e il terzo (più nuovo) un po' più distante, composto principalmente di camere con piscina privata. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nel primo, che risulta il più comodo per chi preferisce andare al mare. Ottima la formula all-inclusive, con ristoranti (tre) molto assortiti e con prodotti di discreta qualità. La proposta è molto simile nel complesso, ma variano le portate principali cucinate al momento. Quello della struttura più distante dal mare propone una pizza "mangiabile", anche per gli standard italiani. Non abbiamo usufruito del ristorante a pagamento presente sul terrazzo del secondo complesso. Le camere sono belle e molto pulite. La nostra camera 4109 aveva l'accesso diretto al bar della spiaggia, molto comodo per i bambini che potevano uscire anche da soli per raggiungere l'area giochi esterna, restando sotto il nostro sguardo vigile. Unica nota sotto la sufficienza è stata l'animazione, quasi inesistente per gli adulti e piuttosto scarsa per i bambini. Nel complesso una struttura molto bella, che conquisterebbe ancora più valore se migliorasse la gestione dei ragazzi, lasciando i genitori un po' più liberi. Le séjour avait mal commencé avec la salle de bain de la chambre pas très propre, pas de gel douche. Sinon le reste du séjour c'est bien passé. Les restaurants et bars sont très bien. C'est bon et variés. Beaucoup d'activités surtout pour les enfants. Beaucoup de transats. La proximité de Chania accessibles en bus est un plus.

Great hotel. It's in the middle of the nature in the countryside, you are surrounded by olive trees and oleanders. The hotel is mostly made of two storey villas and there's also a main building with seaview. If you don't want to hire a car, there's a bus stop 300 meters up on the road to go to Chania. It's a 20-25 minute ride. The hotel is well equipped, you have everything, three different restaurants + a special rooftop restaurant where you need to book in advance, a shop, beach bars, abluggage room and a tourist office to organize trips. Furthermore, sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels for free at the pools and at the sea. Great selection of food at the restaurants, we really were satisfied with that. You can eat fish or lamb every day if you want. Maybe evening entertaintment level at the pools could be a bit higher level, but you cannot have everything. You can walk to Kalyves which is a charming village about 3 kms from the hotel with nice beaches, narrow streets and tavernas. Good value for the price if you book well in advance. The place is highly recommended for families.

Bel hôtel bien situé dans un endroit au calme. Il y a deux parties de l'hôtel séparé par une petite route avec peu de circulation. Par contre, chaque partie a sa propre piscine et son propre restaurant avec la possibilité d'aller des deux côtés. Les chambres avec vue sur la mer ont une belle vue et sont très proches d'une plage de sable avec transats avec peu de monde. Chambres modernes bien insonorisés Etablissement propre avec un service approprié. Les buffets sont bons, pas énormes mais adaptés à la taille de l'hôtel. Y a du choix entre des viandes, poissons ou légumes. Le show cooking est déposé le plus souvent dans les bacs : dommage : il faudrait qu'on puisse se servir directement afin d'être servi avec un plat bien chaud. Desserts bons mais répétitifs à partir du 4ème jour. Les animations ne sont pas très variées en soirée : à part la soirée greque, beaucoup de soirées DJ où personne ne danse.

We started our island hopping on Crete and enjoyed 4 days at this resort. Location: Your within a few minutes of Chania which has a beautiful port and Kalyves a cute beach town with good food. The closest airport and port is Chania and Heraklion is just under 2 hour drive from this location where most of the tourist activities happen. We rented a car so we can venture out on our own but we enjoyed most of our time in the resort. Parking is included with our stay. My son enjoyed the pool, the food and making friends from other countries. Family oriented resort and would recommend the ocean view facing the pool area and beach for families. Food was excellent and bar drinks were ok. The property exterior is a bit outdated but very clean. The pool area could use more attention to cleaning as some areas ere too slippery from folks coming in and out of the beach. I have experience and training in commercial property management and this is my recommendation for the property. Otherwise the staff was helpful and excellent. My son cried all the way to the Heraklion port on the day we left because he wanted to stay longer.

Beautiful room (superior maisonette) with plenty of room for a family of 4. Great pools, particularly in the newer blocks for swimming (lane pool), food was good but not excellent. Entertainment was good, particularly the music quiz, acrobats and Greek night. Drinks service was good too and much better if you do the upgrade package which we did part way through our holiday. Not much going on round the hotel so I’d recommend hiring a car and a visit to Kournas lake to see the turtles.

A really nice place. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Reasons for a high rating... pools were expansive and warm, and nowhere did we feel cramped. The reasons why not a 5 rating... the food was okay, the hours for the buffet weren't really long enough, in between meals there were no proper options to get food (other than crepes, fruit, ice cream, and small sandwiches) - that sounds like a lot but not really. Also, after 9:30pm, nowhere to eat anything else. Also, didn't like the need to have to pay a surcharge to get the higher all inclusive to get the better drinks etc. There were ants in our condo which after complaining they sent a housekeeper to spray the perimeter. It worked for the most part as we only had a few show up after that. All in all, a good place to stay. We would be okay to stay here again.

Staff is nice, food is average, the spa has a lot of options and great service, the mini market is very handy and activities are great for people with small children. Would have been nice to have a bit more animation in the evening for grown ups, all inclusive cocktails are unfortunately really bad quality and we didn't like that you had to pay an extra for the premium option. Overall it's a good value for money option, but not really a 5 stars.

Sehr schöne Anlage, die noch etwas ausbaufähig ist. Es ist alles neu, sauber und die Zimmer sehr schön. Für ein 5 Sterne Resort ist aber noch Luft nach oben vor allem bei der Verpflegung. Die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sehr minderwertig. Oft Pressfleisch vor allem beim Aufschnitt, Hamburger etc. die Getränke sowohl in den Restaurants als auch an der Bar sind von billigster Qualität. Sehr schöne Anlage, die noch etwas ausbaufähig ist. Es ist alles neu, sauber und die Zimmer sehr schön. Für ein 5 Sterne Resort ist aber noch Luft nach oben vor allem bei der Verpflegung. Die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sehr minderwertig. Oft Pressfleisch vor allem beim Aufschnitt, Hamburger etc. die Getränke sowohl in den Restaurants als auch an der Bar sind von billigster Qualität. Good - nice room. Indoor pool, Bad - entertainment was awful and no effort put in. Food not labelled so never know what you are eating. Tables at dinner never cleaned. Ants in room. All inclusive drinks were horrible. Spirtis tasted like paint stripper ! Taxi to old town is 28 Euros each way.

I have stayed here for 1 week, in June. I have found not only the hotel but the staff extremely friendly and helpful, we have stayed in one of the pool rooms and the pool/patio space has been more than sufficient with lots of space to swim around and enjoy our time. In the day we have mainly stayed at the Beach Pool and got drinks from the beach bar, and during the evenings entertainment had drinks from Aggeliki who has been more than polite, helpful and a joy to be around. The entertainment during the evenings has been amazing, with a wide variety of activities not only for children but for adults, although travelling without any children we have found that it’s still a comfortable hotel for couples without kids. Guests have been super friendly to eachother, and that can only be contrary to the amazing staff at the hotel. I will be coming back. Shoutout to the amazing staff members, Lily, Yaro, Aggeliki and all the others that helped during our stay to make us feel at home and have the best holiday we have had. - Tommy Podmore
