The breakfast options were plentiful and a little different each day. We booked a sauna/jacuzzi, which was wonderful. An easy walk to the water, the beach, wonderful view from our room. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful new hotel. Great staff. Located a bit further out of old town but walkable in 15 to 20 minutes. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great affordable hotel with a great pool.

We were here for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. I mainly picked this hotel because it had parking for our rental car. The hotels closer to old town area did not. The only downside was it was a little farther of a walk to get to old town but not terrible. The parking is a small, underground, and secure parking lot with limited parking and is 10 euros a night. (I am sure they had a good laugh watching on camera while we did our 22 point turn maneuver into our specified parking space - lol) Would recommend making sure you reserve a spot if needed during booking to ensure you have one. We utilized their laundry service and had no issues. Room was good size and clean with large balcony overlooking the water. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions and arranged our early morning taxi to the airport. We had the pleasure of meeting Petros the barkeep. He was very helpful and friendly. Let us charge our phones at the bar while we were visiting with him. Great gentleman and is a true benefit to this hotel. This hotel met all our needs and would highly recommend!

Stayed at the Hyperion City Hotel for 2 weeks, a very good buffet breakfast, Bar & small food menu. Bed and pillows very comfortable, Shower gel & shampoo provided which is always topped up, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a hand steam iron. A small pool which is good for a dip and cooling off, small gym and spa area for various massage treatments. A 2 minute walk to the beach, a lovely walk along the seafront with numerous waterfront restaurants to the harbour and old town, which is about a 10 minute walk. Then you can walk upto the main town, loads of shopping available. Highly recommended and we will definitely be staying there again, as it quite and away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. All the staff are very attentive and friendly, and always willing to help. Parking available if you are renting a car.

The wall on the balcony was wood instead of clear like the other balconies. They never put the air conditioning on in the bar/restaurant which made it impossible to use the facilities I have never in my past 59 years of traveling had to leave a 20 Euro deposit for a second room key. That was a poor experience. The pool are was far from inviting. Overall it was not a great experience.

Really nice hotel, located about 2 blocks from the pier area. There is no real view, but hotel is clean and well appointed. The gym did not have weights but was a nice place to stretch. We used their laundry service, which was fast and reasonably priced. The bar was pretty good breakfast was very good. We had to check out very early, and the staff kindly made us take away breakfast boxes.

The place was beautiful and our room was spotless. The view of the Chania water front from our balcony was the best. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. If available you can request a parking spot in the garage for nominal fee. Also walking distance to the Old Town Chania and Old Venetian Port of Chania .We will stay again!

This property was ok. Very strong cleaning product smell in all the common areas. The same smell was on the sheets and towels. Our balcony view was beautiful, the room was ok. Very small shower. Windows glasses on the elevator, breakfast area are filthy. Breakfast was very bad. Not many options, poor quality. Location is close to the town, but you will still have to walk some.

We had the best stay at Hyperion. The front desk was super friendly and helpful, assisting us with anything we needed, including a taxi to the airport. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the morning complimentary breakfast has a nice selection. The hotel is in a great spot, walkable to old town, but far enough away that it’s not overly crowded or loud. Definitely recommend!

We truly enjoyed our one week stay! Beautiful modern, clean hotel, with the most friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast buffet has plenty of options. Our room had a large balcony, overlooking the bay. The location is very convenient, it took us about 30 minutes, leisurely walk, to get to the Old Venetian Port, were you'll find lots of restaurants and shops. A couple of small supermarkets are just a block away. Thank you for a relaxing experience!

Positive - gorgeous hotel, modern with lovely pool area where you can have drinks from your sunbeds, large comfortable room with lovely sea view balcony, friendly staff. Central and walkable but still very quiet in the rooms at night. Negatives - lots of our towels were stained unfortunately, which was strange, and no hair conditioner provided (but shampoo and shower gel was). Also not many hot vegetarian options on the buffet breakfast, often cooked items always included meat.

1) we had a ‘view room.’ The balcony was amazing, with its spotlessly clean glass railing and incredible vista. 2) Breakfast was beautifully presented, plentiful and tasty. 3) The air conditioning was suboptimal. It made noise, but could not effectively cool the room. We were on the 4th floor in late September. 4) we were very disappointed when asking for beach towels that none could leave the property. This rather impacted our planned activities for Crete- we could look at the water, but could not enter it without purchasing towels. 5) we loved the location- near enough to the old town to enjoy it, but far enough away to feel like an oasis of calm.

Outstanding place to stay. Staff is very and truly friendly and helpful. Great location. Very nice breakfast. Only issue is that some of the balconies have a wooden fence rather than glass, so most of the view is blocked; the staff gave us a different room upon request - this is an issue that the hotel should be able to rectify very easily, providing blinds to those who don't want a glass fence.

Staff helpful and pleasant: breakfast had a good variety: hotel very clean and room was cleaned well every day. Excellent view of the sea from the balcony and would recommend anyone paying the extra for such a room. Wasn’t entirely comfortable with the set up in the room in I respect of the hand basin. Great the toilet and shower were separate but a glass partition separating the wash hand basin/ exit from the shower and rest of the room was uncomfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is new with modern rooms and excellent facilities. The staff were welcoming upon our arrival and very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was also great. The only negative point was the hotels position on a busy road which meant the traffic noise was quite loud in our room as it was on that side of the hotel. It might be worth requesting a room at the back of the hotel if you’re a light sleeper.

We stayed there for 3 nights in junior suite with 1 child. Hotel is nicely located near old town and beach. Hotel is modern and suite with pool was really nice. Unfortunately AC (air conditioning) had problems and needed to be fixed. We got movable AC-device for 2nd night, which helped a bit with temperature, but was really noisy. This problem had a big impact on our experience, while 2/3 nights we slept pretty bad.

Our visit to the Hyperion City Hotel was wonderful! From the wonderfully clean, modern room with a great view to the delicious breakfast to the great service, we loved every minute! The hotel was in a great location for walking to the water, restaurants, and Old Town. The staff members were so helpful! Stefanos even arranged for a takeaway breakfast for our departure because we had to leave before breakfast began. We rented a car and were always able to find street parking near the hotel in the evenings. We highly recommend Hyperion City Hotel!

This property is advertised as having air conditioning in the rooms, but it does not. It has a fan based system which in short does not keep the rooms sufficiently cool. Given that it was circa 40c outside, it was a really uncomfortable stay, with many sleepless nights. What made this worse is that the staff at the hotel firstly tired to claim that it was working perfectly, and after the second day we managed to get the managers to the room who acknowledged that it was warm, but explained that this was just system, so nothing could be done. He then proceeded to lecture me on the damage to the environment caused by A/C as if this was an excuse for not having an effective system. Not to mention that they have a fake fire in the reception which would be a good place to start if you want to make energy savings. It is a shame as otherwise it is a fairly nice hotel, but the attitude of the staff to firstly deny the problem, and then claim you are the problem for wanting it to be cooling the room.

We were here for 3 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. I mainly picked this hotel because it had parking for our rental car. The hotels closer to old town area did not. The only downside was it was a little farther of a walk to get to old town but not terrible. The parking is a small, underground, and secure parking lot with limited parking and is 10 euros a night. (I am sure they had a good laugh watching on camera while we did our 22 point turn maneuver into our specified parking space - lol) Would recommend making sure you reserve a spot if needed during booking to ensure you have one. We utilized their laundry service and had no issues. Room was good size and clean with large balcony overlooking the water. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions and arranged our early morning taxi to the airport. We had the pleasure of meeting Petros the barkeep. He was very helpful and friendly. Let us charge our phones at the bar while we were visiting with him. Great gentleman and is a true benefit to this hotel. This hotel met all our needs and would highly recommend!

We had the best stay at Hyperion. The front desk was super friendly and helpful, assisting us with anything we needed, including a taxi to the airport. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the morning complimentary breakfast has a nice selection. The hotel is in a great spot, walkable to old town, but far enough away that it’s not overly crowded or loud. Definitely recommend!

It was a global strike in Greece. And property new about the strike. Despite this property confirmed the room. And we were not able to get to the property because of the strike. Our flight was rescheduled because of a strike. †he property declined all requests to change the dates even with additional payment. Good clean and comfortable hotel. Was recently built so has all the modern designs. Nice view from the balcony over looking the sea, we were on the 6th floor so could see and hear the excrement of the old port. Walkable to old port, restaurants, beaches.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à 200 m de la plage et 20-15 minutes à pied de la vieille ville (promenade agréable le long de la mer). Beaucoup de bars et de restaurants très proches. L'hôtel est luxueux avec des chambres récemment rénovées, vastes, propres et très confortables. Perdonnel compétent et très à l'écoute. Superbe séjour.

Such a wonderful hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here as I visited Chania - the staff were very friendly, the amenities and food were excellent (both the breakfast buffet and room service meals were superb) and in my opinion the location is perfect - 1 block to the beach, and a 5-10 minute walk gets you to the Old Town of Chania, without the hassles of parking, or nighttime noise when you return to your room. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Crete, and to Chania...

Our 3rd stay in this hotel, quick friendly check in. Nice large room with a comfy bed. Great rainfall shower. Liked having the steamer to press clothes. Free drinks in minibar for 1st night. Breakfast items varied each day which was very nice. Orange juice is still out of a machine and coffee not the best. Would still stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our one week stay! Beautiful modern, clean hotel, with the most friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast buffet has plenty of options. Our room had a large balcony, overlooking the bay. The location is very convenient, it took us about 30 minutes, leisurely walk, to get to the Old Venetian Port, were you'll find lots of restaurants and shops. A couple of small supermarkets are just a block away. Thank you for a relaxing experience!

Positive - gorgeous hotel, modern with lovely pool area where you can have drinks from your sunbeds, large comfortable room with lovely sea view balcony, friendly staff. Central and walkable but still very quiet in the rooms at night. Negatives - lots of our towels were stained unfortunately, which was strange, and no hair conditioner provided (but shampoo and shower gel was).
