The hotel room I’ve had was over a restaurant, and the noise continued until 24:00. Loud voices of doors slamming continues through the evening. In my case that cause quite bad sleep and unpleasant stay. If you aren’t that sensitive to noise these hotel rooms would probably be ideal. The workers at the hotels seem to be Italian only, so you won’t get very far with English beyond the basics. The room I had (single room) is quite small and it is very basic comfort. The pillows are hard and the mattress as well. For some that isn’t a big of a case, but for me personally that’s essential to have a good night of sleep. The breakfast is not worth the money, and I would rather just buy some food at the grocery shops nearby. All in all I’ve had days of too little sleep and get back home with a lot of sleep to regain. I don’t think that’s what you should expect from a hotel.

Have stayed here several times. Clean, safe, good location. Short, pleasant walk to the centre. Also restaurants and bars very nearby with their own local vibe.

Rooms are very small (even for Italy). I had to search for an additional room in the area since it was impossible for two people to share one room that advertised sleeping 3 people. Cleaning staff start working in the halls early in the morning, so good luck getting any sleep during that time without ear plugs. Great location and staff, but I would never come back again. Overall, in Padua, apartment seems like a safer bet.

A tidy little hotel - rooms were clean, well maintained and serviced every day. The only negative was that the room air conditioning was controlled by reception, which is ridiculous. Hence, if you wanted to turn off / turn on the air conditioning during the night - you had to ring reception for them to change it. I would rather pay an extra $10 per night and control the aircon myself. In the depths of summer, it would be really annoying.
