Hilton New York Fashion District

The rooftop bar was an absolute game changer. Staff was amazing, especially the bartenders. With a great view of the Empire State Building as well! Highly recommend.

I was in town for work and it was a great place to stay, easy and convenient. I used the gym as well, tiny but gets the job done.

Very pricey for the quality of hotel. The rooms aren't super nice. And the elevators were broken. Only one worked during our 3 night stay. That part was annoying waiting for one for the whole building.

When booking the property, the Expedia listing stated that the hotel offers limited on-site parking, nearby garage parking for 70 USD per night, and valet parking for over 90 USD per night. This was one of the main reasons why we chose this hotel. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the nearby garage parking for 70 USD per night was no longer available and that only valet parking was offered. Since we needed regular access to our car, we had no choice but to use valet service, which ultimately cost 105 USD per night. I checked the Expedia listing again when checking in upon arrival and confirmed that it still showed the nearby garage option at the time of booking. The receptionist said he would call the manager, who took about 10 minutes to arrive and appeared to be changing the listing on the computer. By the time the manager spoke with us, the garage parking option had already been removed from the description on Expedia. This experience felt misleading and dishonest. As a result, we had to pay over 300 USD for parking, which was far more than we had anticipated. Additionally, the overall attitude of the staff was unhelpful and unwelcoming, which made the situation even more disappointing. The breakfast is also limited and this was definately not a Hilton experience as one might imagine.

Had a great stay here despite the issue with the hot water at the start of our stay. The manager was very polite and attentive to our needs to help resolve the problem swiftly. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Views from the rooftop bar are good but we could not utilise to full potential as we were with our teenagers who could not enter after 6pm. Breakfast choice with the voucher is limited and any extras outside of those choices is then charged. Location is perfect for walking to main sites: ESB, TS & Broadway. Great city. Great hotel. Hope to return again soon.

First time being in new york and I didn’t realize for this hotel there was not any parking garage on the site. This hotel used a parking garage about a half a block away. I was told by the attendant there that they reserve only 49 spaces for the hotel yet there are over 200 rooms there. Basically, it was first come first serve. As for the hotel itself, it was nice but you could hear through the walls. Also I had to ask to get my room cleaned which I thought that thus was standard.

The only thing missing was a small convenience store inside the hotel. And a microwave somewhere for guest use.

I knew New York was going to be expensive, but I think there’s a certain expectation of Hilton hotels and this simply doesn’t live up to it. The rooms are tiny to the point of not having enough space to put down 2 suitcases and be able to walk around comfortably and the bathroom is very average. Normally you wouldn’t spend a lot of time in your hotel room when visiting New York as a tourist but I got a severe flu the day we arrived so we were confined there and it got a bit claustrophobic. That aside - we had a major issue with hot water in our room for 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and had maintenance in our room really late at night 2 nights in a row and we got so many differing stories from it was just our room, to it was the entire hotel, to the fact that it was cold outside so it took hours for the hot water to heat. It was so ridiculous and I ended up getting compensation from Expedia because we were unable to even have a hot shower for most of the stay. Also - beware of the parking situation!!! The parking garage they have an arrangement with doesn’t speak English supposedly and seem to use that to not explain why they’re overcharging you. If you have any kind of SUV, you will get charged for an oversized vehicle which is insane considering the size of most vehicles in the US. They have no policy in place for this pricing and will not release your vehicle unless you pay whatever they say. There is easy walkability to the Subway and some food options.

Great place, the rooms are perfect clean with everything we needed. Nice people working there and always ready to help! It was the second time I stayed there and loved it. The breakfast was not good but I think it is provided by others. The rooftop is nice. I would come back to this hotel! One thing that was an issue was the elevators only 2 of them worked so couple times we waited like 10 minutes to get to the lobby. The rest was amazing. Thank you all so much for your kindness and support when needed.

It was a little tired/dark/dated in our roo on the 20th floor. The AC never got our room below 72 degrees, and it sometimes got up to 74. Sleeping wasn't great bc I usually keep it at 68 at home.I had the hotel look at it, twice...no change. I just gave up on it after 2 nights. However, my real issue with getting rest was that we had a cockroach pop up to say "hi" in our bathroom on our second afternoon. They came to spray, but we killed one on our own later on that night. Anyway, we won't be going back. I expected better of the Hilton brand.

Clean, great location. Amazing water pressure. Added plus to have a refrigerator.

The Hotel was great on the inside! I loved the room and it was pretty clean. However after we checked in and I was about to take a shower I realized we had no towels! No wash cloths, nothing! I called down to front desk and was out through to a manager who said their delivery wouldn’t be in for a couple hours! This was 6 in the evening! I proceeded to go try to take a shower with bare hands and in the middle of doing so they dropped off 2 towels! Thank God! I had never experienced this with Hilton before, I was pretty surprised!

Shower did not drain, we had to wait 20-30 minutes in between two showers for water to go down. Only to immediately have it fill back up once the shower was turned on again. It was disgusting, we could not wait to get home to shower. Other than that, everything else was good, room was clean, and staff was pleasant.

The property ran out of towels!!!! How can that happen? We had to wait for 2 hours for one towel when there was two of us. We missed our dinner reservations because of this and had to pay the no show fee. So disappointing! We are Hilton members but thinking of switching

Front desk stuff was rude. The way they answered your questions was disrespectful. Early noises from some kind of construction. Stuff loud in the hall ways.

Location was great. There was only a shower and we were not given the right towels for a bathroom floor mat/towel and were only given one bath towel even though the room was a double bed room and we had two adults. The toilet paper was so thin like rice paper and it was difficult to get more. The room faced the back and therefore had no light. Never knew if it was cloudy outside or not. The coffee maker did not work. On the good side it was within walking distance to everything we needed. The room was not glamorous but it had the basics of what we needed.

It was a speedy check in , the room was okay clean, thermostat easy to control but a tad noisy ( not a real problem) Bare amenities, no bedroom slippers and had to ask twice for more towels ( there were 3 of us)Shower pressure good no body shower gel but has 2 small soap. Paper cups good and free bottles of water given at check in. Sandbar rooftop great ( it wasnt crowded and got beautiful views of Empire State Bldg and New York Skyline!

Small, tidy rooms that are modern and yet cozy. Anyone that loves a nice firm mattress will be happy! Rooftop bar and close to anything you could want to do right in midtown! Would stay again.

Convenient to metro/airport, mid-town. Comfortable and good size rooms. Busy area. Generally clean and reasonably quiet. WiFi connection could use improvement. Friendly staff.

The room is more spacious and well maintained and clean than any other hotel that I had booked in NYC. Three times the space of any other. Staff is friendly and cooperative. This hotel is “my go to” in NYC. Neighborhood is safe and convenient than any other. Room rate was affordable. I am very critical but I have only praise for it and its staff.

I’m a Hilton Honors member and have stayed at many Hilton properties. This was by far my worst experience. The customer service was bad. It took 40 minutes and two trips to reception to get an iron delivered to my room. The room, located on the second floor, was exposed to loud music from the bar until 1 a.m., and I was later woken at 3 a.m. by a neighboring guest playing music. The bed was uncomfortable and below the standard I have come to expect from a Hilton Hotel. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this hotel.

The service was top notch. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Walking distance to Madison Square Garden and close to the 1-2-3 trains. Ndeye was spectacular on helping me earn some rewards points with Hilton Honora

The hotel is under construction - which was NOT communicated at the time of booking. The first day when checking in, we heard some construction noise. We mentioned it on nigh 1 of our 2 night stay, and were told by the receptionist that there was construction but the noise will be limited. There was no offer to change rooms. It continued the whole day until 9PM, and started again at 8AM the next day, then stopped again around 9PM to start again the next morning at 8AM (on a weekend). Banging and drilling sounds. When we asked to speak to the manager upon checking out, her first reaction was to ask if we had talked to somebody about it (which we had), putting the blame on us as customers instead of apologizing. Next she proceeded to say the construction was on floors 20-22 and we therefore could not have heard it (we were on floor 7 and heard it very clearly - there was definitely construction happening on lower floors), effectively implying we were lying about it. She finally offered to give us a discount on future stays but that is unnecessary, we will NOT be staying at this hotel ever again. We are in the area every two weeks for work reasons, but thankfully there are plenty of other options around. Construction noise is inevitable in a city like NYC. However the hotel is big and was almost empty, guests should be put in rooms as far as possible from the source of the noise. The manager’s response to a client complaint should NEVER to question or deny the client’s claim

Exceptional staff and professional service.

Unfortunately, my stay at this location was the worse. The room was not ready upon arrival, finally when it was it was no clean, and the bathroom had urine on the floor. During my stay when I stepped out i placed the do not disturb sign on the door and came back to find my room door opened. Customer service stated they would reach out to me regarding my complaint and no one did. Also, between 6-7am in the morning there was so much noise because they were doing repairs in the next rooms. I don’t usually post reviews but the service here was terrible. First time with that kind of experience at a Hilton hotel.

Great location for exploring multiple neighborhoods of manhattan. 2-3 block walk to multiple subway stops. Lots of good bars and food within walking distance.

It was pretty noisy, but I kind of expected that since it is located right in the middle of Chelsea NY. PERFECT LOCATION !

Booked this place mainly because it a Hilton property, definitely not Hilton standard, the location is the only positive, the door man is extremely sweet, besides that the bathroom is a disaster it has shower curtains, where the shower area is so tiny even someone like me who is petite can’t shower comfortably, the shower curtain sticks to you when you shower and the water goes out like crazy we used all our towels to collect the water, the bedding I don’t believe is fresh or clean, they don’t use duvet covers they use two bed sheets and sandwiche the duvet in between the bed sheets this is the first time I’m seeing this in my life, they don’t have room service, regarding food as they don’t have their own kitchen so it’s outsourced from some other restaurant which is outsourced.

We had a very pleasant stay. Loved the small restaurant/bar area that has a nice breakfast menu and great café, as well as the rooftop. The staff was lovely. Good location as well.

Hi, We really liked the stay at Hilton New York Fashion District. What we didint like was that it wasnt possible to pre book the Breakfast. It was probably because the restaurant didnt seem to belong to the hotel itself. Get one breakfast buffet and you will have our full five stars. ;)
