Our stay was nice wished the pool was open but they said there waiting for a part but pool was clean and pump was working. The TVs were real small they need to upgrade to larger TVs but over all we had a nice relaxing 4 days.

Wonderful location with direct beach access. Everything about the stay was lovely. Parking lot can be tight for large vehicles, but was fine for our mid-size SUV. Spacious rooms, awesome views. I plan to return someday.

This place is amazing! Nice kept clean room with comfy bed. Steps down to beach, heated pool and an above average breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff. Kid friendly. Affordable. I WILL BE BACK!

Great location. We stayed on the ground floor and it was nice. We had a entrance from inside the hotel and also patio access to the beach. Great place to stay on the beach and private beach access.

Loved the views of the ocean. The room was clean and bed was nice. I’d caution folks about two things though. Stairs down or up to some rooms. No elevators. Also, parking is limited and spots are small. Our truck had to park out near the street and even then the spots are narrow.

The location, on the ocean was great. But, there was no recyclables container in the room, the mattress was very hard and a towel bar kept falling down (we reported that). It did have a kitchen, though.

The overall experience at Pelican Shores was wonderful! It appears that they have done a great job with upgrades and remodeling. Everything was clean and crisp. The only issue that we encountered was that the plumbing still needs some work. Let’s just say, that by the end of our time there we both knew where to go find the plunger. However, it was easily accessible and the problem was rapidly taken care of. Overall wonderful experience!

Beautiful oceanfront room. Very clean. Mostly quiet, except for the cleaning staff in the morning was extremely loud. Our room was across the hall -- staff should be more mindful of loud talking and laughing. Otherwise, one of the best oceanfront stays we've been on the coast.

We had an excellent stay at the Pelican Shores Inn this past weekend. Their staff couldn't have been nicer and our room more than met our needs. Phenomenal view of the ocean. The Inn was very clean and orderly and we really enjoyed our time at the pool.

I would actually give it a 4.5 stars. Only two things I didn’t like. One, sink was in hallway instead of bathroom. Women put their makeup on by sink, men do their thing by sink so the light has to be on which is a problem if the other person is trying to sleep. Dumb design as far as I’m concerned.Also, no way to cool down room for sleeping. Yes, it’s the Oregon coast but the room still got warm and stuffy. Other than opening sliding door and being kept awake by the crashing waves ( which was great by the way during the day!) There was no other way to cool the room down. These are small quibbles but they did affect the stay. Other than that everything else was great!

Our stay was a spur of the moment trip to the coast, and was amazing. With a last minute online booking they were able to let me check in early. The room was spacious, and comfortable. The best part was watching the sunset from our deck!

I liked the updated room and the beach front patio. The room was a bit tight; wish it had been larger as it had a very cramped feeling. The breakfast was okay, but for the room price, I would have appreciated some hot entrees, such as eggs, bacon, or a waffle maker.

This is an awesome property. Everything is new and clean. All the rooms face the ocean so you see the beauty and hear the waves all the time! Access to the sand is right there, out your door. I wouldn't recommend an upper floor suite, as the bedroom is not facing the ocean; it's on the street-side. I prefer to wake up and look at the ocean. This is a great little place. You'll like it. t

Best stay of our two weeks in Oregon! Great checkin, wonderful renovated room with a patio and unobstructed views of the ocean! Friendly staff, good parking, continental breakfast, nearby restaurants and long walks on the beach! Don’t miss Yaquina Head Lighthouse for gorgeous views!

I booked my stay at Pelican Inn and paid for my stay upfront on the Hotels.com site through a virtual site name (affirm). When I got to Pelican Inn, they told me that they don't take payments in advance from Hotels.com or from any other Hotel Sites. The Manager of the Hotel called Hotels.com to get the payment info and a transaction # from them. An Agent from Hotels.com told the manager that she did not want to talk to me about the situation and that Hotels.com never takes payments from their customers. There was a LIE coming from somewhere! I was so embarrassed and felt confused-When I know I paid upfront for every other Hotel stay prior to Pelican Inn! I ended up booking the room with Manager and Paying for it with a different Credit Card because she wouldn't take affirm's virtual credit card. What a Big Hassle!!

Very quiet hotel with views of the ocean and steps to the beach. Most of the staff was very personable and made us feel welcome. We had an issue with the person who checked us in not being a welcoming person but we addressed it with the manager and we’re treated with respect and care. I would strongly recommend staying here due to the clean , beautiful atmosphere .

Hard to beat the location! While the place could use a little bit of TLC, it was fantastic. It was quiet when it needed to be, meaning you didn't hear everything in the rooms next door. Close to casino, stores and restaurants. The beach is literally less than 100 steps away.

Wow! The views from the balcony are awesome. Walk down to the beach on the property. Fireplace in the room. Loved the kitchenette. No AC but the ocean breeze kept us cool all night. Great value away from the Cannon Beach nonsense. Staff was great and helped us find dining & entertainment options. Breakfast is a kitt sparse but still good quality foods.

Our stay was wonderful. The people were kind and gracious and the space was welcoming and relaxing. Our only disappointment was breakfast: The breakfast was in no way what we would consider a ‘Continental’ breakfast. The only options were sugar and starch, all prepackaged foods. Nothing prepared fresh to order. Again, loved our stay overall but the breakfast was disappointing.
