Very nice staff from checking to ground keepers, good size room, large pool ocean front, with pool/beach bar,. Many sunbeds. Nice buffet breakfast with different options each day. Several restaurants, motor bike rental and laundry facilities within a 10-15 min walk. Ferry pier beside hotel

I’ve Stayed at many resorts in Samui - most have been a bit more central around Bophut, Bang Rak and Chaweng. This place is about 10-15 minutes from the “action” of these aforementioned areas. At first I was hesitant but grew to really enjoy the tranquility of this beach front bungalow resort. It’s very charming - and the pool area And restaurant are very nice - as nice or better than many more expensive resorts. Probably because they have such a wide beac front area. Parking is easy. I switched from a superior bungalow to s deluxe and I felt it was worth it. Still extremely cheap for what you get. And I got a good Thai style with oil massage at the Coconut Masasge center on site for just 400 THB. This felt like a more authentic and relaxing stay than almost anywhere else I e stayed

Coco Palm resort is super nice, very quiet area and the facilities and staff are all excellent. The restaurant provides amazing local food and western options, I have to admit I stuck to local food as it was sooooo delicious so cannot attest to the western options. Will book again for sure. Thankyou

This resort was amazing!!! If you want peace and relaxation, look no further. The breakfast buffet every morning had delicious food and the staff throughout the property were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay at this place again. Ferry is literally next door to the property which is a plus if you want to island hop.. rooms were a nice size and having direct beach access a plus

Die Pool Villa ist sehr schön und geräumig. Außerdem ist es sehr ruhig. Wenn man mit der Fähre auf eine andere Insel möchte, ist man hier genau richtig, da die Anlegestelle nur wenige Meter entfernt ist.

Mopeds are brilliant, hire for 250 a day at reception. The location is great. Much quieter feel and has some nice restaurants near by. 20 minutes away from the left side of the island where you get the best beaches, and 15 minutes away from the busier areas to the right like fisherman’s village. You get the best of both. Pool the perfect temp, and great size for lengths. Attentive reception staff with clean rooms, nice drinks and massages on the beach being consistent. A beautiful beach overlooking the ferry if needed for any island hopping. WiFi better than expected.

Just returned after 11 nights at coco palm and we loved it. Ok their are a few negatives but before I go on we are already trying to book the same villa for 2026. Breakfast is fine and will fill your belly though it’s the same choice every day which can be repetitive but the egg station was always a hit. The beach is shell like and isn’t the best to be fair but it is right next to the ferry terminal literally 20 metres from the property to the checkin desk which I guess it’s so popular for people on a night stopover to other islands. Room service is amazing the food was stunning and reasonably priced ( no rip off price at this hotel I can assure you. The free shuttle bus to fisherman village is brilliant we went most days. There’s a great bar just 50 metres from the hotel and happy hour cocktails are amazing at just 2.50 pounds a throw. There is 2 supermarkets and 5 restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff at the hotel are lovely but we have encountered better smiles on previous visits to Thailand. All in all if your just after a beach holiday and want to stay put then this place won’t suit you but if your preference is to drop your case and want to explore the island then you would be hard pressed to beat coco on their prices. Enjoy

Great place set on beautiful swimming beach. Big pool. Had lots of fun with the totem tennis! Restaurant does great food including lovely buffet breakfast. Good, comfy beds. Nice area for walking around.

It was a nice place to stay. The beach needs to be cleaned everyday as lots of rubbish. The room was nice but attention to detail i.e. toilet paper (we had to ask for some), dust ceiling fan. Overall, staff are awesome and very helpful.

This place is in a nice location, restaurant is good, beach is nice, right by the peir (dosnt effect the swimming) Rent a scooter forsure to explore. The rooms were a littlw outdated as are most. Rooms were clean but the building is so old it didnt feel 5/5 clean. Possible mold in walls that gave off a moldy smell. Staff sprayed the rooms and then it was fine.. shower was okay. Could use some TLC. Water pressure below average. Pool was nice and gardens are beautiful. Shower by the beach to rinse off. Id stay again.. but do hope the hotel updates some rooms better. Had ocean front and the door was very loose which caused trouble to open and close the door and to lock was annoying.

We stayed overnight at the Coco Palm Beach prior to flying back to Bangkok on a trip to Koh Phangnan. The accommodations are clean and very well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food, although heavily weighted towards western dishes. The omelette chef was a very welcome feature! Transportation from and two the Samui airport was effortless and timely. After Thong Sala beach in Koh Phangnan, Haad Maenam is a disappointment. The granularity of the sand is larger than the powder of Thong Sala, and a bit uncomfortable when walking. For our purposes, Coco Palm Beach is an excellent choice.

Obwohl die Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, war es ein toller Urlaub. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt, Handtücher und Strandtücher gibt es ebenfalls täglich neu. Die Anlege wird täglich von heruntergefallenen Blättern gereinigt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielseitig und das Personal der kompletten Anlage sehr freundlich. Lediglich die Härte der Matratzen in den Standardzimmern bleibt zu bemängeln, wobei der sofort gebrachte Topper etwas mehr Bequemlichkeit brachte.

Overall I had a good stay at coco palm resort. Even though it was a bit away from the Main Street but that’s on me for not checking before I booked it. The room was fairly clean, the bed was very hard but they accommodated me with a topping for my mattress so it became a bit softer. The private pool needs serious cleaning though. It’s filled with lime scale and other gunk so they should really scrub it. Also found some dead geckos in my room that never was removed. Another thing that bothered me was the staff in the breakfast area. Before I had even finished eating they would come and take my plate, it was very stressful and I saw it happened to other guests too. But the food selection was okay, although the bacon was undercooked every day so I didn’t dare to eat it. The restaurant menu was well sorted but and most of the food was good, but do not eat the tuna pizza, very soggy and undercooked and also filled with whole garlic pieces hiding inside. Also as a person with allergies it would be nice if the restaurant staff would learn a little bit more of the basic English words.

This was our second stay at Coco Palm in a beachfront bungalow (unit 124 this time, 123 last time). The stay was very nice with two exceptions- the bed was much to firm and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a concrete slab. The television was abysmal, no improvement since our previous stay in 2016. I rate the staff, restaurant and facilities excellent otherwise. Great location for a quiet, laid back stay in Koh Samui. If you are taking Lomprayah High Speed Catamaran to/from Chumphon, Koh Tao or Koh Phan Gan, the pier is a two minute walk.

The room was fairly clean, the bed was very hard but they accommodated me with a topping for my mattress so it became a bit softer. The private pool needs serious cleaning though. It is our 3rd visit to Coco Palms in 9 years. this visit we found the place to be as tranquil as we remembered. Our room is clean and comfortable, like most places they supply very fat pillows, which makes me feel like I’m being catapulted into the next galaxy when I’m trying to sleep! Pool was lovely and the lounge chairs surrounding it as well as the cushions wall seemed more recently replaced and updated which we appreciated. we had separate pool/beach and hotel room towels, which made it very easy to take towels to the pool and beach and still retain one in your room room. We liked the breakfast buffet. And found that everyone there was very kind and helpful.

I’ve Stayed at many resorts in Samui - most have been a bit more central around Bophut, Bang Rak and Chaweng. This place is about 10-15 minutes from the “action” of these aforementioned areas. At first I was hesitant but grew to really enjoy the tranquility of this beach front bungalow resort. It’s very charming - and the pool area And restaurant are very nice - as nice or better than many more expensive resorts. Probably because they have such a wide beac front area. Parking is easy. The outdoor surroundings are very nice. If you are looking for a hanging out in a resort it could be a good choice. Be aware that the location is a little remote. The rooms are clean, but a little rustic. The staff is very nice and friendly

Great little resort. Super friendly staff. Beautiful grounds with lots of plants and trees and flowers. Decent AC in the bungalows. All English channels on the TV are news, which is kinds of a bummer when you're on vacation. Ferry to Ko Tao and Ko Pha Ngan is literally next to the restaurant, making transfer super easy.

Mopeds are brilliant, hire for 250 a day at reception. The location is great. Much quieter feel and has some nice restaurants near by. 20 minutes away from the left side of the island where you get the best beaches, and 15 minutes away from the busier areas to the right like fisherman’s village. You get the best of both. Pool the perfect temp, and great size for lengths. Attentive reception staff with clean rooms, nice drinks and massages on the beach being consistent. A beautiful beach overlooking the ferry if needed for any island hopping. WiFi better than expected.

Just returned after 11 nights at coco palm and we loved it. Ok their are a few negatives but before I go on we are already trying to book the same villa for 2026. Breakfast is fine and will fill your belly though it’s the same choice every day which can be repetitive but the egg station was always a hit. The beach is shell like and isn’t the best to be fair but it is right next to the ferry terminal literally 20 metres from the property to the checkin desk which I guess it’s so popular for people on a night stopover to other islands. Room service is amazing the food was stunning and reasonably priced ( no rip off price at this hotel I can assure you. The free shuttle bus to fisherman village is brilliant we went most days. There’s a great bar just 50 metres from the hotel and happy hour cocktails are amazing at just 2.50 pounds a throw. There is 2 supermarkets and 5 restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff at the hotel are lovely but we have encountered better smiles on previous visits to Thailand. All in all if your just after a beach holiday and want to stay put then this place won’t suit you but if your preference is to drop your case and want to explore the island then you would be hard pressed to beat coco on their prices. Enjoy

We stayed overnight at the Coco Palm Beach prior to flying back to Bangkok on a trip to Koh Phangnan. The accommodations are clean and very well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food, although heavily weighted towards western dishes. The omelette chef was a very welcome feature! Transportation from and two the Samui airport was effortless and timely. After Thong Sala beach in Koh Phangnan, Haad Maenam is a disappointment. The granularity of the sand is larger than the powder of Thong Sala, and a bit uncomfortable when walking. For our purposes, Coco Palm Beach is an excellent choice.

The restaurant provides amazing local food and western options, I have to admit I stuck to local food as it was sooooo delicious so cannot attest to the western options. Will book again for sure. This resort was amazing!!! If you want peace and relaxation, look no further. The breakfast buffet every morning had delicious food and the staff throughout the property were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay at this place again. Ferry is literally next door to the property which is a plus if you want to island hop.. rooms were a nice size and having direct beach access a plus

Einfaches und sehr ruhiges Hotel. Der Bungalow hat mit gut gefallen, zwar nicht besonders groß aber der Außenbereich wo man genug Platz zum sitzen und entspannen hat ist toll. Das Frühstück ist für thailändische Verhältnisse sehr gut und reichhaltig , der Pool könnte eine spur größer sein, aber um ein paar Meter zu schwimmen ist es ausreichend. Im großen und Ganzen eine nette ruhige Anlage wo man einige Tage schön verbringen kann !

Awesome spot right by the Mae naem ferry(Pralorn peir) Beautiful and well maintained property. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Will stay again!

Mopeds are brilliant, hire for 250 a day at reception. The location is great. Much quieter feel and has some nice restaurants near by. 20 minutes away from the left side of the island where you get the best beaches, and 15 minutes away from the busier areas to the right like fisherman’s village. You get the best of both. Pool the perfect temp, and great size for lengths. Attentive reception staff with clean rooms, nice drinks and massages on the beach being consistent. A beautiful beach overlooking the ferry if needed for any island hopping. WiFi better than expected.

Staff were so friendly and helpful! Room was clean, shower was nice! Breakfast was delicious. Was a nice stop for a shower and sleep between flights and the ferry.
