Grandeur Thermal Spa Resort

Great place good value !!!

The hotel is a bit rundown, however the room was pleasant and had a fridge, microwave and kettle.

A nice motel that’s comfortable, with great layout and private. A little tired in some areas but generally good value.

The Hotel itself is dated and run down (old heritage quirky). But it suited us as they allow dogs. The inside of our unit was ok and the bed was comfortable and clean. The surrounding grounds are great. A short walk to hot water swimming in the Waikato River. The room rate was very reasonable.

Room was barely acceptable, very old musty smell in unit. Bathroom door was very hard to slide and would not shut completely, toilet seat was loose and moved when you sat on it. The kitchen while clean and nice, it had nothing in the way of cooking utensils at all. We had to wash before use all cups, cutlery and plates as none appeared properly clean. The "resort" is none existing and very very old and run down.
