Honestly the only reason we booked here was for the pool and hot tub. Upon arrival we are met with a note on front counter saying both are down for maintenance. So disappointing for the price paid.

The amenities listed on hotels.com were very incorrect, things that made me pick this particular property. There was no restaurant or bar, which I needed after 13 hours in the car. The hot tub had been out of service for quite a while and the pool heater was broken. However breakfast was great, and the staff was wonderful.

The property is clean however the fire alarms for the building went off at 1:00 am and then again at 4:00 am. The staff told us that it happens when people take long showers and the steam sets off the alarms. There was no apology for the inconvenience or even a remark that they were working on it. When I asked the manager about it he was down right rude about it. Would not stay there again.

Pool and hot tub not working. Weeds growing in entrance. Cigarette butts need picked up in entrance. Old mattress. A bit pricey for such an old facility. Staff nice. Breakfast good. Expect more from HI.

Sitting outside the pool area was extremely hot and uncomfortable. No air circulation at all. The outlets within the night stand lamps were all loose and therefore trying to charge our phones was impossible. Other than those two things the staff was nice and room was clean. Oh watch out for the gigantic ruts come into and out of the parking lot. The trucks from the truck stop have done a great deal of damage to the road.

We enjoyed the stay except for a couple of things. Staff was very nice, breakfast was good. Room was clean other than in the shower, under the little shelves in the corner was a large patch of mildew. On the walls of the shower in the grout was some mildew. For the most part it was clean and I don't know why they are not seeing and cleaning this. Second, for some reason during the night, the air was not working. I woke up at 3am on top of the covers almost in a sweat. Thermostat was set at 69°. Turned it down to 66° before I could ever get it to turn on and cool the room off. Never went back to sleep and got up at 5:45. Breakfast is not till 6:30.

The smell of cat urine upon walking into the room was overwhelming. It was evident that it was a problem from the ozone machine on the table, in an ill attempt to mask the odor. When my kids pulled back the sheets on the bed some unknown bug ran from under the sheets. However all l the staff were extremely friendly.

Pros: *check in lady was very sweet. *easy parking. Cons: *our room was the first room on the first floor, next to entrance. It was very loud with people coming in and going out. * the smell of our room was terrible, like pee/mildew. * our room had dirt and food on the carpet in multiple places, and there was something all over the nightstand table drawer. * pancake maker was down. * breakfast staff didnt seem all that friendly. * the furniture in the breakfast area was dirty and broken. We would not choose to stay here again.

Parking lot not very well lit for safety. Staff was great but the room was excessively humid and the beds were literally damp all night long making for a miserable unrest. No vent in bathroom, which could have helped remove some of the humidity in the room. Will not stay here again which is unfortunate because they were pet friendly. It's not enjoyable thing to sleep on wet beds. The AC unit just wasn't pulling the moisture out for some reason.

Was ok for a one night stop.The outside of this hotel did not seem up to standard for a Holiday Inn and I was a little concerned when we arrived.The area definately seems to be more of a pull off for truckers as there was not much of anything there except a Cracker Barrel.The room furniture and bathroom was older and needs an update. It seemed clean enough.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. Like the free USA Today daily paper. Even on the third floor, the shower water pressure was good. Had trouble with the bedside lamp and wall outlets when trying to charge computer and phone. When I reported the lamp/outlet issue during check-out, Management said it'd replace lamp.

We really enjoyed our first stay with HI Express Arkadelphia. Air conditioning struggled but room was spacious and clean. Service and check-in was TOP TIER and breakfast selection was plentiful and a wide variety of items. Hotel was in a well let and safe location and parking was plentiful.

Nice facility but room temp was extremely hard to regulate, too hot and had to put on air conditioning when freezing outside. Large truck stop across the street also a bit loud.

Quick check-in and great breakfast bar. I accidentally left my wedding ring behind in my room and April checked the room, found it and offered to mail it to my home. Excellent customer service and honesty… you don’t find that very often anymore.

Super friendly staff. A lovely young man (Evan) checked us in. Little details mean so much, when travelling and needing a home from home. This location was wonderful. Nice pleasant furnishings, super comfortable bed. Breakfast was awesome, with Paula in attendance to ensure guests had all they needed. A gentleman was outside keeping the grounds neat and tidy, picking up trash. David, on the front desk, keeping watch over everyone. Thoroughly recommend.

The only thing we didn’t like was trying to get to and froze m the property because of the big trucks. There was a truck stop close by and it took forever to get out and get in.

We had such a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff were super nice and very helpful. We had to call them to figure out how to start the shower. LOL!! They were so nice about it. The breakfast was so good. My kids loved that. And there were places to eat close to the hotel. We were close to a busy highway but you couldn’t hear any traffic noise once you got in the building. Thank you so much for a wonderful family weekend.

Nice place. Good breakfast buffet, but the lady attending the buffet kept watching all like a hawk, which makes one feel a bit uncomfortable. One reason I picked a different hotel on the way back home. Overall tho a good place and comfortable beds etc.,

the only thing i didn't like was that the breakfast person didn't wear gloves and so she was grabbing the bacon to cook it i could see her because she had the door open and she was scratching her head that was disgusting.
