Parking was easy. Room was delightful. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Loved the wine and cheese social hour. My only complaint is I like a very firm mattress, and ours wasn’t, but I realize you can’t cater that to everyone’s personal tastes.

We came in late (around 11pm) and the lady who was working the desk was very nice and even walked us up the block to the guest house and showed us our room. The room had a two person tub, shower, a queen size bed, and a fire place. It was beautiful. I was a little worried with it being an older building that it wouldn’t meet our standards but it actually exceeded. It was very clean and the building well kept! The breakfast was in the main building or we could get it delivered to our room. We decided to eat at the main building and the food was great! All the staff was very friendly as well as the locals. The streets surrounding are full of nice little boutiques, shops, winery/distillery’s, and a couple food/coffee options within walking distance. And while it’s on a Main Street, I wasn’t bothered by the noise or woken by an traffic. It’s a beautiful and historic neighborhood. The only complaint I would have would be the lack of enough parking for guest. We parked on the street while we were there because there wasnt enough room in the parking lot. There was a sign that said “2hr parking from 7a-7p” I believe, which wasn’t an issue to us because we were up and able to move it before then. But it could be an issue for others. With that being my only issue, I would definitely recommend the Washington House Inn to my friends and family!

My #1 favorite relaxation getaway place. Such a beautiful property. Best whirlpool baths. Wine & cheese hour & breakfast are 10/10. So many cute & unique shops, restaurants, and cafes in a short walking distance. Don’t hesitate, just go!!

Beautiful older building that was upgraded just enough to hold onto the charm of the era. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. You walk out the front door and you’re right in the heart of the shops and restaurants.

Wonderful Inn in a very safe, small town. Everyone very welcoming. Amazing breakfast. Even an afternoon wine and cheese hour. The only thing that could improve this is if the room had a fridge and microwave. Otherwise, perfect!

Quaint historical bed and breakfast with welcoming and friendly staff. Enjoyed breakfast options and they even have afternoon cheese and wine available in the dining area. Convenient parking with multiple entrances to the Inn making it easily assessable. Great location within walking distance to shops and dining.

This is a characterful historic place in the center of beautiful Cedarburg. I had some trepidation that it would be too "historic", but it was extremely comfortable and perfect for what I wanted. The room was snug, understandable given the historic structure, but the shower was huge and spotless. The breakfast was "continental", but with great bakery and quiche in a lovely parlor front room. So much nicer than a typical "chain" hotel.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing i find interesting is that when I book on hotels.com (a third party) you never get the best room or best view and that can be disappointing. This hotel i had a parking lot view. But overall it was a pleasant stay !

Beautiful B&B style property in the heart of Cedarburg, WI. Convenient parking behind and adjacent to the building. Very nice wine and cheese evening reception and the breakfast on the Sunday morning we were there was excellent. All staff were extremely kind and attentive. Loved the experience!

We stayed at the Washington House Inn for our 31st anniversary and had a wonderful time. We checked in a bit early and had time to attend the wine and cheese social in the gathering room. Our room was very clean and welcoming. Every detail was thought of by the staff. I was even able to get hot tea at 10 pm. There was always an Inn Keeper in the office to help with any questions. The Inn is right in the heart of downtown Cedarburg, which makes it the ideal spot for walking, biking, or a shopping spree.

This is an incredible hotel. The decor sets the tone of turn of the century charm. 108 - The room was spacious with two sitting chairs and a fireplace. The bed was comfortable. For us shorties, a little hard to get into though. We missed the social hour with wine and cheese, but will definitely catch it next time. The breakfast is called continental but such a wide variety of items, including an egg and bacon dish. Located right in the heart of downtown. Lots of restaurants and shops. I’ll be telling everyone to stay here when in the Milwaukee area.

Also, bright and noisy in room at night bc of street lights peaking through blinds and night life, so bring noise machine and eye mask. As far as Cedarburg goes, one day and an overnight was plenty for my husband and me to see and shop where we wanted, have breakfast and coffee the next morning and feel we didn’t miss anything.

Fun old hotel with great staff! Our room was perfect with a double jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The bed was extremely comfy and the sheets were amazing!!! Complimentary breakfast was all homemade and wonderful! Can't wait to go back and spend the weekend at Christmas time!

We had a wonderful time at the Washington House. We stayed in a beautiful room with two fireplaces, a two-person whirlpool tub. It was two levels; it was a beautiful room. The only complaint about room 220 was the mattress. Sadly, my back still hurts. The mattress should have been replaced at least 10 years ago in our opinion. That was the only complaint about our stay. Breakfast was good for continental. It was a very cool building, and the area is beautiful and walkable.

It was a cute place, not what we expected though. It was a very small room and the walls were paper thin so we felt we had to be very quiet. Also, the main demographic here felt like 50-70 which is fine but again felt the need to be super quiet. It just didn’t fit what we like.

First time staying at this inn and had a great experience. I found this historical property to be a cool and unique inn located in an optimal location for walking around downtown. The staff were friendly and provided exceptional service. The evening wine and cheese and morning breakfast included with the stay made for an even more memorable experience. On Saturday night we asked about a late check out Sunday - the person at the desk was rude and didn’t even really want to answer any questions much less the one we were asking. Nice place but for that kind of money people should be friendly.

This is an incredible hotel. The decor sets the tone of turn of the century charm. 108 - The room was spacious with two sitting chairs and a fireplace. The bed was comfortable. For us shorties, a little hard to get into though. We missed the social hour with wine and cheese, but will definitely catch it next time. The breakfast is called continental but such a wide variety of items, including an egg and bacon dish. Located right in the heart of downtown. Lots of restaurants and shops. I’ll be telling everyone to stay here when in the Milwaukee area.

Breakfast was amazing and so was the evening reception. Hotel is so quaint, comfortable and such friendly service! Just steps to all downtown shops and restaurants. Several restaurants had live music. Cedarburg is a little hidden treasure everyone should experience, and Port Washington WI is nearby and can be enjoyed in a weekend getaway!

This is a characterful historic place in the center of beautiful Cedarburg. I had some trepidation that it would be too "historic", but it was extremely comfortable and perfect for what I wanted. The room was snug, understandable given the historic structure, but the shower was huge and spotless. The breakfast was "continental", but with great bakery and quiche in a lovely parlor front room. So much nicer than a typical "chain" hotel.

Beautiful older building that was upgraded just enough to hold onto the charm of the era. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. You walk out the front door and you’re right in the heart of the shops and restaurants.

Fun old hotel with great staff! Our room was perfect with a double jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The bed was extremely comfy and the sheets were amazing!!! Complimentary breakfast was all homemade and wonderful! Can't wait to go back and spend the weekend at Christmas time!
