My recent stay was okay overall. However, there were a couple of inconveniences. Firstly, the pool was closed, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to using it. The man at the front desk wasn’t very friendly; he didn’t even say good morning and didn’t inform us that the pool was closed when he saw us walk by. Additionally, the sheets and towels had a noticeable smell, which was unpleasant. Despite these issues, the stay was acceptable. The staff was otherwise friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

very nice facility, while i did not use the vending machines I notice they were pretty empty, only 1 or 2 items. Very nice breakfast area but I felt the food item selection was minimal. No Orange Juice only some blend, only whole milk, don’t drink it, no decaf coffee, had to settle for mini powdered donuts and the juice blend. Quite happy with the spacious room. Would willing stay here again if I was traveling into this area.

Such a cute property about 50 minutes from Waco. Very very clean! Front desk employee was sweet. Lobby decor made me feel like I was in an upscale hotel in Fredericksburg.

Check in was easy, propety clean and well lit and the lobby was beautiful and clean. Room was clean and myself and my husband both suffer from back issues and we slept so good and woke up witj no pain. It was great! We would definitely stay here again.

This property was really nice. There wasn’t a scratch on the wall or any blemish that I saw. It almost looked like they paint and repair the place between guests. I’ve stayed at high end name brand hotels that weren’t in as good of a shape as this place. If I go through the area again, I’ll definitely stay here. The staff was excellent, too.

The carpet in the main lobby smelt moldy. The shower head no way has been replaced in years cleaning staff where very helpful and greeted us daily. Pillow has a dirty mark in it upon arrival. Recommend getting new sheets and pillow cases obviously they did not change them out from prior occupants. For the price it was a little below standard would recommend not staying here unless your on a budget.

This is a good hotel. The only complaint is that the carpeting is showing it's age. The door to our room would get stuck on the carpet and not completely open or close without some additional "force". Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

Reception staff not friendly at all. My daughter was able to have breakfast but i was not because i was not allowed to bring it to my room. I was not feeling well enough to go to the breakfast room and we had our dog that we could not leave alone in the room. You provide a refrigerator and microwave so ppl are allowed to have food in the rooms however they cant bring the breakfast back to the room? Due to medical problems i cant always get up from the bed. Due to my daughter having to leave at 7am Saturday to help her friend with her wedding, she wasnt able to bring any food to me intil 5pm that day. I also dont agree with the rule 2 complaints againts the dog then you have to leave the hotel. Do you have that same rule for ppl making noise? Just wondering. In the past i have had problems with kids go by my hotel room and bang on my door or rattle the door knob as a joke. This sets my dog off due to his protective nature.

The hotel is nice but a little older. The room was comfortable outside of the 2-3 dogs that wouldn’t stop barking while we were trying to go to sleep. The front desk agent wasn’t exactly helpful but he was nice.

booked a Wednesday evening on the way to San Antonio. Liked the name and the decor was nice. Clean, quiet and nice pool. Price was good. Breakfast was all carbs, but okay. Booked a room coming back north even though off the beaten trail. Drive off 281 wound through the countryside, very pretty.

I liked that the room was very clean and also reasonable in price. The front desk lady recommended several restaurants. I liked location right off HWY 6 and about 30 minutes to the funeral home for visitation I attended with my sister. I would stay again if in the area.

There isn't anywhere to get water without having to pay at front desk or vending machine.. unless you get water when breakfast area is open in morning, you have to pay no matter what.
