Sucia cortinas viejas , sucias y rotas. Pelos en el piso, colchones viejos . Me cambiaron de habitación a un apartamento para solucionar en parte el problema . Último día ascensor roto, tuve que bajar 7 pisos con maleta . El hotel está en evidente abandono y muy viejo .

Price on Expedia was $15 higher than rate they gave at desk. Also airport shuttle only runs from 8am. I stayed at a hotel because I had an early flight. I choose that hotel for the shuttle and was frustrated to have to pay for an Uber as well. The property is old but clean.

Not the best and not the worst. AC is lacking as it only worked in the bedroom. The “free” airport shuttle isn’t free ($10) and didn’t show up anyway. Breakfast is a bright spot. Plenty of egg and pancake choices. They charge more if you want meats. The hotel is pretty run down and doesn’t look like it’s had any upgrades since 1990. Beds are clean and comfortable. Staff were professional and kind.

If I were to rate staff alone it would be a different story. Our gratitude to the whole staff kitchen. They were Superb! Special thanks to Carlos, he always had a big smile waiting for us. We stayed for 2 weeks. Of the two weeks the elevator was out of service for 2 days. We were traveling with an elderly parent and we were located on the 7th floor. Very inconvenient for her. Upon arrival the room was just ok. I really expected more for its location and price.

I like the Hotel and the staff specially the dining room staff, and breakfast is delicious. I didn’t like the shower, the shower head spilled water all over the floor and I didn’t like the towels they were stained and look dirty

The property is a little bit outdated. The condition of the hotel is not worth the price. We were welcomed in a professional and friendly manner and the check in was fast and easy, but the apartment we were given had a mildew smell, there were only two electrical plugs available; one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom, we couldn't charge our devices at once, we had to take turns. The light by the beds wasn't working and the strange noise in the bathroom we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Breakfast was included in the price, but the selection of choices was very minimal. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean, I give them that. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all by this hotel.

I had to change, to another hotel, because this one was way to bad. It was so dirty, i found a roach near the bed. Also the shower head didnt work well. I wouldnt reccomend staying here if im being honest.

The facility is in desperate need of an upgarde. You hear all the road noise. The furniture is dated, the bathrooms are dated, bed is uncomfortable. Additionally the front desk check in is poor. I booked a jinipr suite ant had to move to a regulat room with no eefund. Overall substandard

As with anything in Guatemala, things may go wrong periodically, but when things went wrong they were quickly resolved. I am overjoyed by the staff, and everyone treated me with kindness and respect even though I barely spoke the language.

I had arranged an airport shuttle after their 2PM time which they told me would cost USD$10 (totally fine). However, I thought I could just add that to the cost of the room. Turns out I had to have USD 10 cash on me. It would be good if the hotel can tack this on the bill at check out. Also, the driver came a bit late. I was waiting around for about 5 minutes (no big deal, but it would be nice if I came out and saw my name on a sign right away instead of looking around). Also, although a genuine human error (it happens), I was given a key to a room that was already occupied and I walked into them sleeping. The receptionist did apologize and gave me another room.

My experience at Hotel Sandander was amazing! Mr. Cruz in receptions was very attentive, respectful and very professional. I can say the same about the waiters during breakfast. Mr. Carlos and Mr. Jose fantastic. were very courteous and professional. The food was great. Were were very pleased with this hotel. Thank you everyone for making my trip a great one.

On the beginning receptionist was rude unfriendly he never prest attention to us, when we get to the room the restroom was lock we call to get some one to come over and unlocked they toke forever to get here the tv wasn’t working, one think breakfast and service was very nice the only thing of all over

Breckfast was fabulous with full meals juice, fruit, table cloths and attentive waiters. Dining options near by like le maison were outstanding. Beds were comfortable and the small greenhouse have nice natural light. PILLOWS WERE PERFECT.
