It was a great stay, conveniently located across from a mall. The desk staff were very nice & accommodating. The parking was ok, however there was no access to the upper deck, was not real clear where to park. We were ok though, there was plenty of parking available in the connected lot. We would definitely stay again.

I loved the rooftop bar and food it was awesome! The lit fire 🔥 on the rooftop was a great centerpiece for great conversations. The city view was amazing! I will be back to visit soon.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Location is great, brand new, free parking, right near a mall with loads of great restaurants nearby. Hotel has a nice rooftop bar area (fine for underage) with seating/firepits. I was lucky enough to stay there on a Thurs night when they had great, very mellow live music. If I’m ever in the area, I will stay there again!!

Parking spots are so small to jam in spaces. I saw multiple patrons checking their cars when getting in or out for bumps and dings. It would be different if valet was available but it is not. For a high end hotel you would not want to have to claim issues and damages with insurance because the parking is so tight and inevitably someone is going to ding a door or side panel.

Our one night stay for us while travelling down south was an absolute delight. The front desk were quick and polite. Our room was very clean, modern yet cosy with lots of space to put our things. Comfortable beds provided us with a quiet and restful sleep. We were travelling with our dog as well and the hotel staff and guests that we bumped into during our stay were very accommodating and cheerful. It’s a wonderful location that was close to many restaurants. Great experience in a lovely part of town, I highly recommend.

The staff was extremely nice and professional. However, I did not like the decor in the room. The room felt like being in a concrete block. The room felt so impersonal. Housekeeping staff isn't doing a great job with cleaning the hotel. I saw a number of areas that needed a thorough cleaning. Overall, the hotel isn't worth the money, and I wouldn't stay there again. Not a bad hotel by no means, but not worth the money.

We have stayed at AC Hotels throughout the US and we love them - the AC Hotel Southpark in Charlotte NC was no exception. The location was great - close to shopping and restaurants. This location also has covered parking and a rooftop bar! Even though it was raining the entire time in Charlotte - it was still a fun place to hang out and enjoy dinner and a drink. The rooms are what set AC Hotels apart from the rest- they’re so well done - spacious, clean and the use of space is brilliant. We love the way AC hotel rooms are designed. The long benches are great to put luggage on and there’s room for more than one! Bathrooms are always large and modern. Plenty of space to relax and not feel like you’re in a “hotel” room. The staff (desk, bar, housekeeping, restaurant) were all friendly and helpful.

Perfect location, good property condition. Pretty basic Gym. The roof top bar furniture is not comfortable at all and the ID very poor. The rooms are OK but the closet is minimal. No drawers. Not even in the night tables. Staff is courteous but not kind. Next time I will explore other options on the same area.

When we returned from a wedding at midnight, we had freeze until next morning. In room phone never worked and it might be preferred that way ?

This was a very comfortable stay. King size suite was a great touch when it comes having enough space for you and your significant other. A quiet stay couldn’t hear cars, people in the halls, nor the noise of people in the room next to you. Definitely will stay again.

Loved our stay at this hotel but our experience at the roof top bar was not the best!! The bartenders were very dry not inviting at all. However customers that did not look like us were treated better and we noticed!! The rooftop is beautiful but I'd suggest this hotel get better bartenders so atmosphere will be a place customers would want to stay. After our only drink and small plates...we left the property for better service and food. I was looking forward to us being there until that happened last night.

Best experience at the AC Charlotte. Drive in from NY to beat an ice storm. Got in at 5am was willing to pay for another dat. They were lovely to just allow me to check in warly.

Had stayed here twice before and like it. But this time it was really poor. At check in we were advised that the king room we had booked thru Hotels.com two months earlier was not available and because we used a third party they don’t guarantee the room type! Huh! I have used Hotels.com all over the world with never a problem like this. They put us in a double queen room. This trip was for my wife’s birthday and now we don’t get the room we reserved? It made our sleep very poor. The next day we had been out for four hours in the morning and came back to find our room hadn’t been serviced. No problem. We were leaving it again and there were many cleaning people on our floor and I asked if they could clean the room and was told we would most likely have to wait for the evening shift to come in. I went to the front desk and was told we would have to wait. I made a very crude comment to the women as she was also the one who delighted in not giving us the proper room We decided to cut our stay short by a day because of this. I will credit the asst gen mgr who comped our second night. We hadn’t asked for this so it saved us money but we didn’t want to save money. We wanted the room we reserved and we asked it to be cleaned!

I booked a king sized room and once we got to our room realized it was a double bed room. We informed front desk about our king room reservation however was told that the hotel overbooked for king rooms and there were non available…” its how the system works”. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights with our 6 month old and we had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. Unfortunately the breakfast comes at an extra charge, but was definitely worth it! The only thing I'd say I didn't love overall would be the bed pillows in our room. They seemed just a tad too flat and it was one of those situations where two is too much, but one was not enough. Might just be me though. Great stay overall and highly recommend! Would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel was nice and what to seem as a nice area. Turn out my vehicle was broken into and so was other vehicles. Leaving me to travel 2 1/2 hours away with no window, tried several local window repair services with no luck… l wouldn’t recommend!

The hotel is very nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful and delicious. The only negative during the stay was a loose toilet seat, which provided some ‘surprises’ at night. When reported on checkout, the information was welcomed, and my impression was that it would be addressed.

I loved how quiet and quaint the area is. Super safe and has walkable shops right next door. Housekeeping was awesome! Shout out to Abril - she was the best. The breakfast is the only thing I didn’t like. $18 for a buffet but the options were very limited.
