Excellent customer service and the whole staff is so kind! I contacted them a couple weeks prior to my trip to schedule transportation from the airport to hotel (5 AM arrival) and the person was very helpful, and made it a smooth and easy process. The rooftop hotel bar was cute with a nice view. The gym and pool are on the smaller side but very clean. I love the area as well. Lots of food options nearby and walkable to Lumphini park. I loved everything about my stay here. Thank you!

Hotel itself is very quaint. Cool decor, attentive staff. Much smaller than it seems in the pictures, the pool is pretty pathetic although looks good in photos. Breakfast was good - lots of variety. Not much going on in that area but walkable to a couple of the big malls. Room was nice and large.

Loved this hotel. It’s a little dark but they’re going with the Speak Easy 20’s theme. We had a corner room, it was big, comfortable and just what we needed after a long flight to Bangkok. The shower is wonderful , the deep bathtub was amazing after a long day, and the hair, body products were delicious lemongrass fragrance. The only negatives were the tiny pool for such a large hotel, we were lucky we always got a sun lounger, but many did not and left the pool area frustrated. The rooftop Speak Easy/ restaurant is tiny as well, it doesn’t look anything like the photos on their website. it’s filled with cigarette smokers…the female staff are rude up on the Speak Easy rooftop, but, the male server and bartender, were delightful! The food was pretty good, smaller plates for the price, but then again, it’s a fancy hotel in Bangkok and that is expensive these days! Overall we had a nice stay. Mr. A is a doll and most of the staff are very friendly. The nighttime desk staff, not so much … but the positives outweighed the negatives. I’d stay here again.

Nothing like a 5star! I checked in and left within a couple of hours as it was so dirty. I have asthma and a dust allergy, and as soon as I was in the room I could feel it wasn’t clean. Dust up the walls, bed frame, behind the bed etc. all glass surfaces were dirty, big sticky stain in the bath, even the coffee/tea tray inside a cupboard was dirty!the couch in the room was badly soiled and there was so much wear and tear in general, the room was very tired. The hallways and lifts were the same, carpets were filthy! . My booking was refundable minus the first night fee. The hotel flat out refused to do a 100% refund for me, despite it being no fault of my own. The reason being “we cannot resell your room”! I was shown a second room and it was the same standard, so clearly not a one off. I didn’t feel comfortable staying here and stressed that if I did, I’d likely wake up unwell. The didn’t care and insisted on charging me. I gave up and went elsewhere, it was close to 11pm and I was getting nowhere. The rooftop was also closed to guests for a private event as was the basement bar/restaurant. On a Friday night! And one of the reasons I chose it. This was not mentioned anywhere before booking. Room service also finished at 10/10.30. For Thailand it’s expensive for the quality of room / hotel. Plenty more options close by which are of a higher standard.

The interior is too dark, the ambience is creepy, the carpet has an unpleasant smell. The room looks old and very dark, the air con was loud with a slight unpleasant smell. The wardrobe knob was loose and fell down as soon as we tried to open the wardrobe door. The worst of all, they were cockroaches in the toilet. Definitely NOT what I expected with the price I paid in Bangkok.

Housekeeping at an all time low . Room not cleaned properly for days . Bathroom was never cleaned . Cups and glasses not replaced after use and just the bed straightened. After complaint, the management took photos of the state after housekeeping had finished I was invited to a small fruit platter as compensation Worst of all I left my valuable watch by the safe when I checked out , phoned up when I got home and they didn’t find it . Reported it to Marriot but after a few patronising emails I have given up. Hotel looked very shabby and well past its prime Avoid if possible.. so many good and honest hotels in the same area

It’s a long walk to Central World is 15 mins. Not ideal under the July weather. The amenities around the hotel is not bad. The hair dryer wire is so short to use. Strange choice for guest to use. The lighting is indeed too dim. The shower cap is so thick not comfortable. The refund of the deposit is said up take 14 days. This is so long.

Great overall facilities, excellent staff and service. Restaurant service and food was great. Shower design allowed for too much water to get onto the marble floors and lighting in the bathrooms wasn't sufficient, but otherwise the room was great.

We had an amazing 5 nights here for our first trip to Bangkok- family of 6. We had 3 double rooms- corner suites. The rooms are dark, beds comfortable and the staff are so attentive and welcoming.

Lovely boutique hotel within walking distance of Ploenchit. Recently taken over by Marriott, but not to worry, it doesn’t show. Elegant retro (1920s) theme throughout. Spacious room with luxurious bathroom and very comfortable bed (I went out and bought a pillow of the same model). The rooftop balcony bar is ideal for nightcaps.

We have stayed at the Muse many times but we so a huge drop in service and much lower standard offering as breakfast. When we arrived there was a heavy rain, no one to greet us or help out with the luggage from the car. When I parked the car and was in the reception I wasn't offered a welcome juice. The check in was slow. The hotel is as always cozy and with a nice atmosphere. We did however noticed the weed smell on floor 17th. The room was nice, tidy and clean. We arrived around 8:30am for breakfast which have always been a pleasure and delight during previous visits. This time we noticed that the ala carte menu was gone and instead replaced by an egg station. The bread station isn't something to write home about with stale bread and croissants. This is a step down from being a top class breakfast to become an ordinary breakfast that any hotel offers. I'm looking forward to be contacted by the hotel, telling me if they agree or disagree with me. If no contact, I assume they don't care.

We were notified 10 days prior arrival that we will be relocated to another hotel of the Marriott group as hotel was overbooked - we booked 9months in advance. The offered hotel was a downgrade, Marriott did not bother to offer a accomodation which would be comparable. Very disappointed as i had stayed already several times at the Muse. Since Marriott took over not recommendable to book. Marriott will only take care to increase their profits and not try to honor bookings of longterm customers.

Great location, fabulous staff! Probably the most engaged and caring concierges I’ve ever experienced. They made everything easier, ensured we were paying fair prices for transportation, and setting up outings for us. Awesome rooftop speakeasy, great upper level pool, delicious breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience, ultra luxury. Our room was not ready at the check in time but the staff was very helpful and upgraded us to a better room 2 hours later, walie they give us another room to relax between.

A gorgeous boutique hotel in Bangkok’s best area. Rooms/suites are fabulous, comfortable and super clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant options are good as was the service. The area around the hotel is safe and 10/10 for walkability and access to BTS, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel, run by excellent staff. It may seem a little dated but very much in a charming way. The breakfast was really good and varied for a hotel buffet. Great hotel however the experience was marred by my wife watching a cockroach scurry out of the expresso machine look around and return home into the unit. Food cleanliness is very important and in my nation this would have had the restaurant condemned until pest removal had been successful. As a transplant recipient food safety is a major concern and this is not acceptable in a 5 star.
