Disappointed with stay at Hilton Doha. I booked this hotel because they advertised a private beach. I could have paid half the price if I stayed across the street from the beach. We were there one night as we were transiting through Doha. The evening we were there, we were not able to use the beach or swimming pool, because they were setting up all afternoon for a private party and it was noisy and staff walking around setting up tables right by the pool. About 4pm, they started having everyone leave the beach and pool area. I felt cheated, because that’s why I was in that hotel, to enjoy a warm beach before I had to go back to the cold of my country. Food was below average, staff was un friendly and not courteous. The safe deposit locker didn’t work in the room. We had to wait over an hour for them to come fix. Frustrating when we had only one evening and we had to waste it waiting for them to fix their equipment.

Reservation was made 5-6 weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were notified (by a piece of paper on the check-in desk) that the pool would be closed for scheduled maintenance for the entire period of our stay (The high temperature during our 3 day stay ranged from 115 to 117 degrees Fahrenheit, and the pool was a deciding factor in choosing this hotel). Upon pointing out to the desk clerk that it would have been proper to have been notified of this prior to our arrival, she volunteered we could be driven to another hotel pool for swimming. I told her that was less than a solution given the prospect of traveling back and forth by car in the brutal heat. She then said she would upgrade our room because of the pool debacle. Upon getting to our room, we found it to be smaller and somewhat less luxurious than the photos of the room we originally booked on hotels.com. It seemed smaller as well. Overall, the staff was wonderful and Doha is wonderful; the Hilton Doha, unfortunately was a disappointment.

The room had a terrible odour of damp with paint blistered on some walls. The electrics in the bathroom failed during our stay and was repaired by two clowns who attempted the fix while live and nearly electrocuted themselves with a huge bang mid repair. Me and my friend stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Check in was smooth and nice. Room was over all good. Except that the refrigerator smelled really bad. There is also only 1 electrical outlet for European users, and it was located under the desk. I had to call 3 times to get an adapter for the outlet so could charge my phone. Friday nights there is horrible Noice from bar/ party until 2am. All staff really friendly. Among them Veronica at the reception. Beds are nice and comfortable. Breakfast is good, even if it is little bit noisy. Uber from Air port was only 52 Qatar money. And the Metro is only 15 min walk away, and cost only 2 local currency.

i really enjoyed my stay here, everyone was so nice here and the food was delicious. everything was clean. the only thing i’d say is the view from my room wasn’t that great and the room is quite dark and doesn’t have main lights just lamps but that is obviously not the staff’s fault it’s more of a complaint of the hotel building itself. really nice pool and beach area very safe and family friendly.

Hotel mit großem Pool und sehr schönem Privatstrand mit Sonnenschirm, Liege und Handtüchern immer verfügbar. Da im Ramadan der schon oft beschriebene Nachtclub geschlossen war, sehr ruhig, auch keine Moschee in der Nähe. Zur Metro und zur Mall ca,. 15min zu Fuß oder mit dem Shuttlebus. Die Zimmerreinigung hatte manchmal kleine Schwächen beim Auffüllen, wurde aber auf Nachfrage sofort nachgebessert. Frühstück sehr gut, leider kein Meerblick, da Scheiben zugeklebt, Terasse geschlossen.

Had a great experience at Hilton Doha from checking in to checking out. Superb service from the staff. Better than normal breakfast compared to other hotels we stayed at over the years and the pool/beach area are great! The room was clean and tidy but had an underlying cigarette smoke smell maybe from an earlier occupant or if the room been a room which you could smoke in before, a little annoying but manageable.

From start to finish, our holiday at this Hotel was perfect! The staff are so courteous and helpful, and the whole place is immaculate! The private beach is a real boost, and the Hotel is only a 15 min walk from the City Centre Mall, and access to the Metro. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and our Housekeeper, Mohammed Riyas, was super efficient This establishment is a wonderful place for a holiday in Doha!

L’hotel ha la piscina e la spiaggia privata, fornisce i teli per i lettini. L’hotel ha la spa a pagamento e la palestra inclusa. L’hotel fornisce bottigliette di acqua gratuitamente sia in camera che in spiaggia. Abbiamo scelto la mezza pensione: acqua e bevande analcoliche sono incluse nel prezzo, cena e colazione veramente di alto livello. Tutti i cibi sono buonissimi, freschi, nelle serate di pesce si sceglie il crudo che viene grigliato al momento. Nelle vicinanze è presente un centro commerciale e la metropolitana raggiungibili comodamente a piedi. Unica pecca la connessione internet a volte un po’ scarsa. Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel per una settimana, dopo un giorno abbiamo chiesto un upgrade della stanza poiché quella prenotata risultava molto piccola, con la porta a vetri del bagno che incombeva sul letto.La nuova stanza era spaziosa , con balcone e vetrate che non insonorizzavano la sottostante strada a sei corsie. L’incubo si manifestava la sera quando iniziava la musica assordante fino alle tre del mattino della enorme discoteca che fa parte dell’hotel . Per tutta la settimana nella sala ristorante ha regnato il caos, attesa per sedersi, attesa per il caffè e gente che si muoveva e camminava in ogni dove. La spiaggia è piccola rispetto alla numerosa clientela ma soprattutto sprovvista di un numero sufficiente di ombrelloni e con sdraio spesso sfondate.L’Hilton Doha non si può considerare un hotel a 5 stelle ma si fa pagare come tale. Considerando che al 5 piano dove avevamo la stanza stavano facendo dei lavori di muratura, con corridoio rattoppato per manutenzione e operai che si spostavano sarebbe stato più “ elegante” non far pagare al cliente 450€ per un upgrade che è risultato una presa in giro e per il cantiere in corso e per il frastuono fino al mattino.

The customer services manager Veronica was exceptional. She absolutely made our stay. It was my birthday while we stayed which she noticed herself at check in. She made arrangements for a birthday cake and decorations and personally wished me a happy birthday on the day. Also upon check in we got an upgrade to an amazing suite! Lastly under unforeseen circumstances we had to reschedule our flight which was stressful and upsetting however she eased the stress and made arrangements for us to ensure we could remain in our room until we were ready to go. I cannot rave enough about her. Her way with customers is at the highest level. The hotel itself is lovely. All amenities were great and again service of all staff were amazing.

The breakfast staff were friendly, but the breakfast was the same every day with no variety. Room service was poor, we had to call multiple times to get basic items like coffee and hand soap. One night at around 2 a.m., a guest was shouting and no one from the hotel managed the situation. For two days, the water was too hot even for washing hands. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Had early check in, hotel staff was very helpful if needed. Hotel has its own private beach where the staff on beach are very helpful. Free bottled water available during our stay. Used the spa for treatments. And ate in the hotels restaurants where you get discount if a resident. Area is walkable to the stunning city where you find shopping malls and restaurants. Ubers to travel are very cheap. Felt very safe at night. There is a local shop over the road behind the McDonald’s. Make sure you bring clothes to cover up in the respected areas. Definitely would return as enjoyed this place!

The stay was ok until check out.... the lady stated that i had a can of nuts... but only one can was in the fridge when I checked in. I only had a sprite and coke. Once I stated that I never had, the lady received a picture from housekeeping of the fridge. I repeated that I didnt have nuts. then she let me go. I felt like she thought I was lying. If I can afford tol stay 2 nights, clearly I can pay for whatever is in the fridge.

Im September war ich ca zwei Wochen im Hilton Hotel, und es war fantastisch. Das Essen, der Service, die Sauberkeit, die Zimmer 1A. Vor allem das Restaurant ist besonders empfehlenswert. Jeden Abend gab es neue Gerichte. Das war die beste Entscheidung das Hilton Hotel gebucht zu haben. Ich wurde kurz vor meiner Abreise krank. Der Restaurantmanager hat mir eine riesen Kanne Tee mit Honig und frischer Minze auf‘s Zimmer gebracht. Der Privatstrand ein absolutes Muss. Man genießt seine Privatsphäre. Das war nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich dort war.

We had a very good stay - service was great, without being too much. All facilities was up to standard - swimmingpool, beach, fitnesscenter and restaurants. Had an excellent dinner at Trader Vic's. Only problem are the prices - very high - Coca Cola from the minibar 28 rial!! But overall a very good stay with nice staff - very helpful

Het was een heel fijn hotel met een mooie zwembad en een stukje privestrand. Je kan gemakkelijk van het zwembad naar het strand gaan. Verder heb je wat eettenten aan de overkant van het hotel. Er is een shoppingmall in de buurt en met de auto ben je er zo. Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn wel op afstand, maar met de auto prima te doen. Hotelkamer was prima en schoon. Ontbijt was lekker, maar elke dag wel hetzelfde.

Nice area, good pool and beach. Paid for breakfasts separately when we checked in which was quite expensive but found that most the food was cold or cool although it was in chafers, eg omelette station wouldn’t make scrambled eggs fresh for you, they sent you to the chafers with scrambled egg in it which was cold. Room was nice and big but aircon was a bit noisy, made buzzing noise when it kept coming back on. Had to go asking for tea and coffee at breakfast or if you were lucky they would come and ask you. On the whole it is an acceptable hotel but I thought such a big brand should have been better for the money you pay.

We arrived at 8am but the staff were very helpful in arranging our room early. An excellent hotel with some excellent facilities. The only negative was the buffet dining, which had good food but was over priced.

We had a fantastic one-week stay at Hilton Doha with our family (2 adults and 3 children) and truly enjoyed every moment. The location is excellent, right by the Corniche and close to the city center, making it easy to explore Doha. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and offered stunning views. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options for the whole family. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, service-minded, and professional throughout our stay. We felt very well taken care of and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families visiting Doha!
