Had to go to Queens for a family event and needed to stay somewhere near the event that also had parking. Was impressed with what I saw online about this hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel was modern and very clean with free parking. Rooms were spacious and modern. Beds very comfortable and rooms surprisingly quiet considering everything going on nearby including a casino and airport. The casino and restaurants were attached to the hotel, but you were never bothered by the activity of those venues. Great place to stay.

I stayed there with my family arriving from Paris and catching flight to Tokyo the following day. After claiming our baggage, we went to the AirTrain Federal Circle station, where all the hotel shuttles arrive. No Hyatt shuttle came. We called the hotel to find out that they don't provide airport shuttle service and the best way to get there is to use ride share. We were surprised to hear that as it is an airport hotel (as the name suggests) and Expedia booking site says free shuttle. It is very misleading. We ended up paying $80 for round trip between hotel and JFK. Hotel and our room were comfortable and clean. We especially liked the gym. But our experience would have been better if we had known there is no airport shuttle service.

It was great being in a hotel connected to a casino. We got to play and watch a live band at the casino and then go back to our room without having to travel very far. The workers were friendly. They have a Starbucks right down stairs, which is convenient. The bed was super comfy. A few dislikes: the coffee maker in the room didn’t work. We told the front desk and the got us a new one pretty quickly. The toilet kept running after each use so you had to jiggle the handle . There was a woman’s hair on the shower wall so the shower obviously wasn’t fully cleaned and wiped down prior to us staying .

We loved the property. Only it is asvertised as that a shuttle is available from JFK, reason why we booked it. After waiting almost an hour with 2 tired and hangry kids, we decided to take a taxi. But once in the hotel, everything was nice and we felt welcome. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the neighbour talk on the phone word for word

I’ve never had ambient noise quite like this hotel. The sound from the AC / adjacent building is like sleeping by under a busy motorway. All modern hotels are guilty of this, but this one really takes it too extremes.

Breakfast is $25/person and you can't take anything out with you other than your coffee/tea. Rooms don't actually come with mini-fridges as-advertised but rather beverage 'coolers' which you would have no idea until what you're attempting to keep cold ends up lukewarm the next morning.

Door keys had problems, had to come down 2 times to get someone come upstairs to re-program and still could not enter the room. Came down fourth time to get a new room assigned. Learned that more rooms were experiencing similar problems, and told them to do periodic maintenance to avoid the hassles for customers - we were tired and wanted to lay down after a long day. People at the front desk were helpful, but considering what we paid for a night and having spent an hour or so not being able to get into the room was not an experience we were looking forward to.

Staff was very helpful at checking in.I stayed there 3 nights and no came to tidy the room,although I asked for them to take out the trash. We went out and came back and room was still the same.No soap at sink to wash hands, but the morning guy give us clean towels every day.

3 year old property out near JFK Airport. Very open, clean & friendly staff. Was disappointed being charged an early check in fee, despite only 2 1/2 hrs before actual hotel check in time. Carlos from Bell Services was a gem.

The hidden fees at checkout was terrible. When I first checked in they told me what I had coming back. Then at checkout they surprised me with fees by doubling me twice. For that reason I will never come back there to stay. I recommend that no one stay there because of this.

Staff was amazing helping us with terrible American Airlines cancellations and delays. Front desk, Carlos our bellman was especially wonderful, and everyone was great. Our room (1002 and 722) was comfy, modern, and very clean. Loved the bath products. Would definitely recommend!

All are good. Some of the charges of dining in the Hyatt Club are hidden. Please check before you leave hotel. Phone calls to the front desk from outside the hotel often go unanswered, and the waiting time is very high.

Nice property, but not a lot nearby you'd feel safe walking to. We took the A train to NYC for dinner and a show which is conveniently located at the edge of the parking lot.

We’ve stayed here twice now and I’ll definitely stay here again. The staff is always efficient and welcoming. The rooms are large and modern. Obviously the surrounding areas are dangerous AF and you shouldn’t go off the property for any reason. But while you’re there it’s safe.

Great stay for a quick weekend trip to watch the Yankees. Excellent amenities, very friendly staff. Walking distance to the subway so you are in a good spot to get to and from Manhattan anytime of day.

Very clean and modern. Convenient location for airport persons in transit as i was. There is no shuttle service provided and you must arrange transportation if going to any location outside of the hotel if you do not have a car.

The room was freezing cold at night despite setting the thermostat to 70 degrees. The casino was just ok, too many loitering non players occupying seats. Security was useless to help with this situation. Steakhouse food, service was great. Prices great too. Sugar factory was a joke. $26 for an expression martini (caramel macchiato they call it)

Very nice hotel, and my King room was lovely and was pretty spacious. Two free bottles of water were provided. Not sure though that the room was worth $380+, but it was clean, safe, and connected to the casino. The hotel is also located adjacent to the airport. Dining options are lacking. Mostly food court options. However, there is a steakhouse. The casino is HUGE and has plenty of slots. No table games though.

The casino and hotel are very clean and beautiful. RW Prime restaurant was very very good and the staff was great. The live band FDR Drive was an excellent band and the bar was fun. The track was an older track with no frills.

Very nice Hotel in the vacinity of JFK Airport. There is no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel so you need a car. Parking is free and safe. The rooms are very modern and clean and the personel was very friendly. The hotel is linked directly to the Resort World casino. Disadvantage is that some of the restaurants in the resort are closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so the nearby food choices can be limited but you can buy decent breakfast items at the hotel owned cafe near the lobby every day.

The food amenities were very much lacking. There were not any nice restaurants to speak of. The food court was almost non-existent. The casino, which is attached to the hotel, was fair at best because there were no live dealers, only computerized dealers. It was a very impersonal experience. I would not return to the Hyatt JFK. To make matters worse, the bedsheets were quite scratchy and uncomfortable.

I did not like the dining options we came in after 9:00 pm and I chose this hotel because it had dining options. The hotel side was very nice just what I expect from a Hyatt. The casino side not nice at all and most of the food court sections were closed and look like they had been renovated since the hotel was built. I would not stay here again. The extra fee to get back to airport was not worth the distance. The staff on the hotel side were friendly and helpful.
