Very clean rooms and showers, comfortable bed. The staff here do a great job of keeping everything clean and organized and making sure everyone is happy. Continental Breakfast was perfect and in the evening guests were quiet. If you can do stairs would recommend the top floor rooms. They have a laundry area, easy parking, ice machine and a family was enjoying the very clean pool and pool area. Only comment is please change your dining area coffee brand.

I stay here every time I come to Bellingham. It's very clean, great owners, best price for how nice it is, pool, sauna, gym and awesome coffee in the breakfast room every morning. I look forward to going back!

We stayed here overnight after driving up from Seattle, and hiked in the Mount Baker area the next morning. The place is good value for the money, rooms are pretty barebones and it does look on the older side, but clean enough. Continental breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff were all very courteous and helpful. Would recommend for a no frills place if you're looking for a stay in Bellingham. We didn't go in the pool but it actually looked quite nice, so that's a nice feature. Fitness room was also surprisingly well equipped.

The check in process was quick and easy with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was basic, but very very clean. The bed was very confortable. Fridge available in the room, shared microwave in the hall. The swimming pool was very nice and also extremely clean. Complimentary breakfast was basic, but good value overall. Nice location, older hotel, but very clean. The staff was constantly walking around and cleaning, checking their site and pool was clean. Very friendly staff. Only weird thing was a shared microwave in the hallway, but other than that, we would stay again.

For the price this property is a great value. Cleaner than most properties that are at least double the price. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. Well appointed. The staff is very friendly. I have spent many years visiting family in Bellingham and have found our go to spot when we need a place to stay.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the tub looked run-down but functioned well. The air conditioner made the room smell musty. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, including oatmeal, chai tea, and multiple milk choices.

Pro: staff was friendly, room clean, bed comfortable. Con: carpet smelled weird, hallway conversation very loud in room ( any activity in hallway was so loud), water was lukewarm. I was only bummed by not being able to take hot showers. The grounds are very tidy and the room and linens were very clean.

CLEAN, clean, clean. Everything on the property was immaculate, and that matters so much! The room was basic but had everything needed for a one night stay in the area. Nice little breakfast with alot of options in the morning. Very conscientious host kept everything in order and seemed to take alot of care with the property. I recommend the Coachman Inn - it felt like a nice reminder of what privately owned hotels used to be like. No fancy bells and whistles like the big chains, but good quality and clean attention to the important details for a good night's stay. :)

The care taken to keep this older motel up and running is very evident in all aspects. It couldn't be more neat and tidy, from rooms to lobby/dining area/to the grounds. We stayed on Thanksgiving night, and were impressed to see that a meal had been offered that afternoon to anyone who wished to join. What a welcoming, thoughtful gesture.

It was clean and in decent repair. It was also a bit loud (perhaps just the other people staying there that night) and was cheaply updated and decorated. Since I didn’t need anything but a place to sleep and don’t need decor for that, it was fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very close to the university, which I liked.

Pretty much an average older motel in decent shape with reasonable furnishings. The mattress was getting a bit saggy, but still ok. Biggest downside was the proximity to I-5 and it's noise and that it was not in am especially walkable neighborhood.

Great property near WWU! It had everything I needed and was clean and tidy. BTW - I'm picky about that. ;) One of the best places that I have stayed in the area for the money. I've stayed in more fancy places for more money and had an equally enjoyable experience. I hope this hotel is available next time I'm in town! I was somewhat skeptical about it being near the freeway, but it was very quiet.

This is a cute property with clean rooms and comfy beds. I didn't have time to try the pool, but it looked very inviting. The continental breakfast was fine - normal hotel breakfast options plus some really good strong coffee. My only complaint would be that the room had a smell - I was there on a hot day so perhaps that was part of the cause. I turned on the AC (which worked great) and that helped. I will definitely stay again.

The owners and staff are excellent. They really care about their customers. If I am ever back in the area I would stay again. We just slept their before we went out on our adventures so we didn't need much so it was perfect.

A bit too far to walk to downtown Bellingham but it's a short drive if you have a car. The beds were super comfortable too! overall, a great stay!

Most amazing staff! Excellent customer service! Very nice room. Great complimentary breakfast. The gentleman on staff was incredibly kind and respectful. Very nice demeanor and friendly. This was one of the best, if not the best lodging experience we’ve had in all our travels around the world. The customer service was truly outstanding!! You don’t find this kind of service and great customer service even at esteemed resorts. Thank You for a great stay!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived at our check-in time, but had to wait 15mins. We were not in any rush so just chilled in the lounge and used their computer. The staff were very personable so it made the waiting time much more pleasant.

It's rare to find a hotel property of this age that's so well looked after and where the service is first-rate. Full marks to Mohinder and his staff! The Coachman Inn is located within short driving distances to beautiful Chuckanut Drive, Bellis Fair, and Anacortes (where you can take a ferry to the San Juan Islands/Friday Harbor).

Pretty much an average older motel in decent shape with reasonable furnishings. The mattress was getting a bit saggy, but still ok. Biggest downside was the proximity to I-5 and it's noise and that it was not in am especially walkable neighborhood.

Great property near WWU! It had everything I needed and was clean and tidy. BTW - I'm picky about that. ;) One of the best places that I have stayed in the area for the money. I've stayed in more fancy places for more money and had an equally enjoyable experience. I hope this hotel is available next time I'm in town! I was somewhat skeptical about it being near the freeway, but it was very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Owners are wonderful. Great location, close to the freeway but still quiet. Older rooms, but very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many dining options. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bellingham.

Convinient location, there is some traffic noise but ease of access to highways and major through roads made it worth it. The property is clean, well maintained and the staff are great.

Very clean rooms and showers, comfortable bed. The staff here do a great job of keeping everything clean and organized and making sure everyone is happy. Continental Breakfast was perfect and in the evening guests were quiet. If you can do stairs would recommend the top floor rooms. They have a laundry area, easy parking, ice machine and a family was enjoying the very clean pool and pool area. Only comment is please change your dining area coffee brand.

This is a fantastic, reasonable cost motel fairly close to downtown Bellingham. I mostly used the bus system to get around town. Beautiful short hike from the hotel thru Sehome neighborhood, Sehome arboretum over to WWU. The manager is quite nice and always available. Breakfast is as basic as it gets- with just boiled eggs as the protein. Oatmeal, bagels, toast and packaged breakfast pastries. A few alternative milks for your coffee or cereal. Weight room is basic, fairly small, but gets the job done. I would return for sure.

The check in process was quick and easy with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was basic, but very very clean. The bed was very confortable. Fridge available in the room, shared microwave in the hall. The swimming pool was very nice and also extremely clean. Complimentary breakfast was basic, but good value overall. I highly recommend this hotel.

Coachman Inn was a nice place compared to the other hotel/inn with in the area. Price nicely and very well clean. The breakfast was nothing but baggles, coffee, milk and cereal. Not really continental breakfast as it lacked eggs, ham, sauge, etc... Staff was very friendly.

Helpful staff, good breakfast (no hot buffet), plenty of parking and a heated pool. The laundry machines are fast and cost 2.50$. We had a nice stay, it was a pleasant surprise. Only downside is the highway noise in some units, so bring some earplugs.

I do not even know what were the "amenities". Wifi was okay. Parking was distant from our room, which made bringing our luggage inside difficult. The room refrigerator was welcome, though a larger freezer compartment for refreezing my ice packets would have been more beneficial.

Our room was very clean and the bed was increadably comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. We don't visit Bellingham often but if we're in the area again this will be our go-to place.
