Overall a great property that is clean, convenient with a gym, laundry, restaurant, and outdoor area. My only minor gripe is WiFi is very slow. That said I’d stay here again!!

Fantastic place to stay! Great amenities and caring staff. Nice pool. Areas for kids to run around. Had a large chess set, marshmallows provided by the fire each evening, etc. Highly recommend.

Nice facilities and room. Everything was clean and equipped with a microwave and fridge. Only downside was the adjoining door between the two cabins. The door needs to be thicker and weather stripped. We could hear the loud conversation of our neighbors as well as their TV program. Luckily, they weren’t up too late into the night. We loved the country music that was next door at Showdowns. Sad the hot tub was unavailable.

Staff was super friendly. On-site restaurant was good with live music most evenings. Nice grounds with lots to do: large connect4 game, cornhole, heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, large chess game, volleyball nets, several sitting areas, coffee/tea available all day in office. Walking distance to other restaurants, coffee shop and general store. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Bryce Pioneer Village was not what we expected. Our room was not clean and if it hadn't been so late, we would have left. The sheets were old and pilled, comforters were dark blue and had gross stains, the sink in the bathroom had no stopper so we put a washcloth over the hole in case we dropped anything, and the air conditioner kept kicking off. The walls were thin and we were awakened by other guests banging on doors and talking for about 20 minutes around 4AM.

Charming, family owned and run property. Lovely places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The Showdown Restaurant is great. Take advantage of the outdoor seating, enjoy the mushroom Brie bisque, then wander over to the huge fire pit to roast marshmallows! Badminton, soccer, life size chess board, gazebos, pool and hot tub! Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful. Great stay.

Was a nice clean place to stay. Beds we a little squishy. Had a restaurant on site to eat at which was very nice and convenient for us. Gas station, convience store right next door. Would definitely stay here again. Right close to Bryce Canyon NP as well.

This was a very rustic motel yet not the kind of motel where you have access to outdoors from your room. It was more like staying in a cabin of rooms. We stayed 2 nights and I’m not sure I’d stay again. It could have been cleaner. The microwave was dirty when we opened it and the shower was very dingy.

The room was clean but a little small. The beds are not queen size, they are full size. It needs a little renovation. The room had a weird old smell. The toilet seat was pealing and the shower was hard to figure it out, the cold side is warm and the warm cold. The property is cute.

We stayed for 1 night when visiting Bryce Canyon. Close drive to the park, on site restaurant (serving delicious meals) and free tea/coffee in reception. Shower was good power and temperature. Only issue was the noise from the adjoining room, the walls are paper thin so you literally hear everything from next door.

Our room was extremely small, and the bathroom was the tiniest we’ve ever had. Carpet, bed, pillows were so dated. The air conditioner barely worked and was so loud it woke us up at night. The restaurant on site was great with good food and service. We would not stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise place to stay! We arrived late in the evening and I was worried to check into hotel. Tiffany at front desk was very kind. The place was very nice and well kept. It is not a new, fancy place but very pleasant place to stay for a few days.

Layout of the place is pleasant, with convenient grocery store and eatery minutes by foot. Clean, plenty of towels. Perfect for what we needed.

They were very accommodating. People were very nice. Our first room was, hate to say it, dismal. Very small, old and inconvenient. We had no parking as some one not even in the other room next to us took up the entire area near our door. But the next day we were moved to another bigger easier to access room. (Car was still there). My husband is disabled and uses a walker so it made a huge difference.

I decided to stay at Bryce Pioneer Village due to how unique this location is & that was 15minutes away from Bryce national park. **PROCESS** Check in was quick and simple check out as well. Parking was easy too, but near nightfall, parking can be a little tight. **THE VILLAGE** There are good amenities to use such as the pool/jacuzzi, the grassy field to play soccer, fire pit area & the showdown restaurant. For the indoor room we stayed in, it was good size for two people, we also had a mini fridge & microwave. There was a tv but the channels were very limited. The restroom was small but we didn’t mind. We also enjoyed the backyard that had a hammock & little fire pit. This is definitely a great spot for family, friend groups or for couples. **LOCATION** It was a nice kinda remote area. The gas station/convenient store was literally next door. There was a coffee shop too that was a three minute walk. We also picked up pizza twice which is couple minute walk. Not many food options out in Tropic but we ate/picked up groceries in Bryce City. **OVERALL** Definitely recommend staying here if you don’t mind being 15mins away from the park. You also get to support the small shops in the city of Tropic. I do hope this place gets some renovation done outside/inside because I think it’ll help attract more tourists & makes you want to stay in village longer :)

Really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. The Showdown restaurant was walking distance to our room. We were able to park close to entry for our room. Hotel within 25 minutes to Bryce Canyon entrance. We would stay here again .
