The hotel was old but well maintained. Breakfast was limited in choice but was fine. We stayed in April, on the 2nd floor and it was quite warm. There was no air conditioner in the room which would have helped to cool the room down. We opened the windows. There is no elevator on premises and if mobility is an issue you will need to book a room on the first floor. It might be a little noisy because 3 of the rooms are near where breakfast is served and where guests may gather in the evening. Only complaint was that there is no early check in available. Check in time is 4:00 PM and they are strict about this. I believe the reason for this is that they have limited staff available and they are only on premises at certain times of the day. The location is convenient if you are visiting family at The Mariner which is an independent/assisted living facility.

Great location with beautiful old houses everywhere. Loved the fresh fruit and baked items in the morning.

Breakfast was a disappointment. It was like you get at a cheap motel. For almost $300 a night, I expected eggs and bacon, at least.
