Elevator broken the entire 5 days we were there, which made for very long waits. We waited for nearly 30 minutes to get to the 5th floor. The grounds are fun and clean, love the food options. There isn’t a coffee pot anywhere so you will need to wait for Starbucks and pay the price. Overall, it’s a nice place!

Family-friendly, pool's were great however inside hot tub/pool had so much chlorine added; our eyes burned and we could only stay inside for less than 20 minutes. The outside pools were cold because we were told that management didn't want to turn on the heaters. Overall, we enjoyed our rooms that overlooked the bay. Absolutely amazing to wake up and hear the waves.

This property is only about location, everything is so expensive and it was 410$ a night the staff is not so friendly, you have to stand in a line for 45 minutes every time the door keys dont wrk wich happened everyday . The inside pool was closed for half our visit and its so small that once it opened there was no room anyways. I could have went to Hawaii with the money we spent

Hotel Breakers is a great place to stay when you want to be at Cedar Point Park for a full day. It is an easy walk over to the park and a perk is that hotel guest can have early entrance one hour before the park opens to the general public. Also, Hotel Breakers has an indoor swimming pool and two outdoor swimming pools. There is a huge sandy beach on Lake Erie. Very nice! The hotel is quiet and well staffed. The downside is that it is expensive.

The room was ok, but definitely not what we expected for the cost. The room could have been cleaned better. The shower didn’t drain well so by the end of the shower you are standing in inches of water. The bathroom was really small and nothing exceptional about the room.

The room was disgusting. There was a starbucks stir stick left on the floor. A pile of what looked like dead bugs in the corner of the room,mold on the bathroom ceiling tiles, and rings from other people's drinks on the desk that didn't get wiped up. I contacted the staff, and the man, said "we are short staffed" and that was it.

For the price of the room it was not up to par things were dusty, black mold in bath tub, the automatic door where you swipe your key card stoped working and we were locked out of our room for an hour front desk staff was clueless how to help and the maintenance guy was from CP Park not the hotel and he thankfully used a breaker bar to get us in the room but still had to wait till next morning for them to replace batteries so the door would work. Was all a mess and again for the cost to stay there it should have not even happened needless to say in the future I will save my $$ and stay off CP property because I can get a room for $100 with the same quality as the one I paid $400 for and thats just the room.

The good. Hotel is in great location in walking distance to Cedar Point park and the beach. Two indoor and outdoor swimming pools. TJI Friday's, Starbucks, Perkins, and Japanese steakhouse available on first floor. The bad. Our stay way ruined by dirty room with dust and bed bugs. My wife had rush all over her skin after sleepless night. Room had nothing in the fridge not even water. Upon check-in room was not ready until 4 p.m. Staff at the front desk not very friendly or accommodating. After check-out I notified front desk clerk about the problem with bed bugs in the room. No complimentary offers or apologies from clerk or manager. In summary the place is in convenient location but I would never stay there again it's just not worth it for the price. Definitely not a four star hotel I wouldn't even rate it a two star.

The Breakers is inside Cedar Pt., which is awesome. The landscaping. and grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, inside the facility it is not only shabby and run down but surprisingly dirty. We saw the same trash on the floors in the elevators and the restrooms off the lobby over a period of days. Many of the staff we met were very nice but many were disinterested to say the least. Our room was grungy with lots of hairs in the shower, on the countertop and in the corners of the flloor. This is not the kind of yuck that comes from 1 sloppy cleaning. This is just how it's being done. This hotel is too expensive to be this gross. They're busy, obviously, but the people in charge of maintenance are clearly not paying attention. We stayed here last summer as well and it has visibly declined since then. Bring slippers.

We stayed at one of the newer buildings and it was good, not great. One elevator was out of service for two days. The other elevator was dirty the entire time. Our bathtub had previous guests’ hair in the drain. The screened in balcony was disappointing since the screen obscured the view of the lake when we were on the balcony. And it held hundreds of flies, so we never used the balcony. We liked the main lobby section, the location and it had a nice open walkable feel to it. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The Perkins restaurant was convenient and the food was fine.

I know a lot of people hate on this but I've been going to Cedar Point my whole life-- the bugs/spiders are always a thing because of the location, and that's never going to change. The rooms were a touch dated but ours was clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice. You really can't beat the convenience of being able to come in and out of the park and relax. We had a great time!

Amazing location! Suites had a bit of an awkward layout. Bedroom was spacious, but living area with pullout sofa was cramped. Bathrooms and carpet could use a revamp. For the price we paid, we were not blown away, but loved the water views and easy access to Cedar Point.

The perks and location are why you stay here. Being able to walk into the park and take advantage of the hour of early entry is hard to beat. The hotel lobby and common areas are nicely appointed and were decorated for Halloween. The room though... I would put it a slight notch above a Motel 6 because the bed wasn't rock hard. Surfaces were not terribly clean and all of the seams of the bathtub insert were peeling badly. I would say the word that came to mind with the room was "cheap". The park has world class attractions but the Hotel Breakers is far from that standard.

The hotel itself is okay, but very large and its easy to get turned around. Parking isn't always convenient to your room. It's always busy and noisy. Bathrooms in the rooms are tiny and they have no outlet in them to use the hairdryer. Obviously it is very convenient to Cedar Point and the beach which is the main perk. We had to return to the front desk to get our early entry paper for Cedar Point. I wish the front desk would just make that part of checking in.

Stayed here for a solo vacation to Cedar Point. Staff here were very friendly, accommodating and friendly. Shuttle services to and from the park was easy to call for and arrived within a reasonable time. Hotel was quiet is the halls and clean throughout my hotel room. Will stay here again for my next visit.

In a four day stay only one person spoke and said have a good day. Staff not friendly at all. Bathroom door opened right to toilet really congested. Also last day stopped up front before waiting in line and asked about check out, didnt have time for me wait in line he said. Waited in line for 30 mins. for them to say leave keys in room at check out time and you are good to go. REALLY:(

Upon checking in, the desk clerk told me that I can’t get any of the hotel perks for the park since I booked through Expedia. That should not be and was in no way mentioned anywhere during booking. Beds were poor quality and the rooms were noisy we could hear everything from outside window and hallway even when closed. I had random kids knocking on our door all the time and the hotel would not do anything about it. Nice location, but for price. Hotel lobby staff is very poorly educated and acted like they didn’t even work there. Too many young people working and I’m only 43, but they act very untrained and unprofessional. Then I spent $165.00 at TGI Friday inside at hotel and got 4 chicken fingers and fries and everyone else just got basic meals nothing crazy. It took the hostess a long time where to put us even though there was no one there eating.

Checking in, the guy was appalled that we used expedia to book the room he also had a terrible attitude, asked if we wanted early access to the park and i asked for info on which rides that apllied too he said look it up online, we finally find the room and the keys dont work. Have to go back down to lobby and have the keys reprogrammed and i asked a different hotel worker if he has info for early rides he gave me a card with all the info

Check in was absolutely terrible . Did early check in .. was in line 20 minutes at 10 am . Received a text the room was ready at 4:00. Our overall stay was a complete NIGHTMARE!!! We were locked out of our room three times because the room keys would deactivate. After spending 20 minutes each time in the lobby to speak with the front desk they finally called maintenance to our room. It ended up being the battery system in the door. Carpentry had to come and take the entire lock apart. This resulted in a lot of time that we lost to spend in the amusement park. We ended up having to upgrade our passes just so we could go back the next day. To make matters worse, at 8 o’clock in the morning I went down to get coffee and was not able to get into my room again because the room key somehow became deactivated!! Thank goodness my husband was in the room. He proceeded to tell me that when I was gone housekeeping walked in on him!! The only positive thing that I can say is that the hotel management is working with us to rectify the situation.

Check in process is awful. It takes too long. Don’t be full service at the front desk when people who don’t need tickets to everything just want their room keys. Go digital for check in. It’s 2025. One of the elevators in the west building apparently hasn’t been working in a year. Too expensive to stay there for them to not fix their issues.

As a hotel on its own, Breakers is incredibly overpriced for what you get. The rooms are dated and barebones. Nothing special there. Where Breakers shines is in the amazing walkabaility and access to both Cedar Point and the beach boardwalk. The ability to walk back to your room to take breaks or at the end of a long day at the park is almost priceless.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms were kind of cramped for a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids, but definitely didn't deter from our overall stay. It was fantastic having easy access to the park near Magnum & the waterpark (+ 1 hour early entry!). Nice selection of restaurants, pools, and hot tubs on site + easy access to the beach. Wonderful!

Location next to Cedar Point is fantastic, that is what you are paying for. The beach is also great and we enjoyed the cabanas and views. Besides that, very limited food options, slow service all around, one bartender at TGI Fridays and the Beach Bar every night; everything had an hour+ wait. Felt like it wasn’t properly staffed everywhere for the busy summer season. Rooms aren’t cleaned every day but you do get clean towels if you ask.

Nice beach and convenient to Cedar Point Park. However, we did not go to Cedar Point. We paid extra for a room with a balcony facing the lake. The screen was so filthy it was not a nice view the rail was across eye level while sitting in chairs. Unless you are going to the park I would not recommend staying at the Breakers hotel. Very expensive for the room. Ate at the TGI Fridays and the fish was cold and not cooked on the inside.

The best thing about this hotel is the ability it gives you to walk quickly to your room after a long day at the park! So incredibly convenient! The pools and splash pad were also great. The room needed some extra vacuuming when we arrived and room service came to our room within minutes of us calling. We purchased tickets at the hotel for cedar point at a great rate and were able to get early park access. As for dining, the service at the hibachi restaurant was good, but the place is LOUD and they are trying to get you in and out as soon as possible. The Starbucks in the hotel had a huge line in the morning. Also, as a side note, if you are afraid of spiders, the outside areas of the hotel and the theme park are not for you. There are large spiders on all the fencing and railings!
