Pleasant check in with very nice helpful staff. This appears to be an older building but the room was very up to date with a really nice spacious walk in shower. All rooms face the ocean which is less than 100 yards away. There is a bar on the beach, a place to sit and relax and watch the waves.

Hotel is located right on a beautiful beach. The hotel was undergoing major renovations and was noisy. There should be a warning about construction. We were placed on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Property was easy to find. Parking was limited and crowded. Loud outdoor bar too large for property. Limited beach space, port-o-lets on walk way to beach. No outdoor shower, instead a garden hose in muddy area. This motel is overrated for the price.

Great recently renovated room & bathroom, right on the sandy beach with a beach bar & food. The motel is well maintained. Bring chairs for the deck outside rooms as well as your beach items. We brought a portable grill which we used for dinners, which worked well along with the fridge already in the room. There is a limitation on available electricity - so no coffee maker or hair dryers in rooms. I believe suites have coffee makers & fridges. Not sure about microwaves. We will stay there again. Rooms & suites are up1 or 2 flights of stairs.

Our room had perfect view of the ocean. The beach bar was actually open despite the chill in the air. The room we stayed in does need some maintenance. The base of one lamp was held together with (no lie)…..scotch tape. Had difficulty opening one of the blinds do to a missing rod. A hook on the bathroom door would be useful but the room was clean and had fresh towels each day.

There was absolutely no where to park on arrival. However the staff was actively working to resolve cars that didnt beling on the property. I reccomend never going on a weekend day during the summer. Very loud and crowded with cigareette and pot smell every where. Would not had had a problem if it was only allowed at the outside bar. The worst part was blood on our sheets and when the replacement sheets were brought to us we were offered a round of drinks from the bar and no other compensation. Which was completely unfortuate since that set the tone for our stay. The staff was very friendly but it did not make up for the sheet incident.

Looked like a yr of food and dirt under the bed. Turned on shower and shower head fell off. Couldn't shower. Bathroom sink wouldnt drain. Tv wouldnt turn on. Filthy beyond belief. No one in office at night after 9pm to fix issues.

This motel was So dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE. there are plenty of other hotels in the area. Me, my husband, and my one year old daughter went for the fourth. Definitely not baby or kid friendly. People partying all night. I should of looked into the reviews better on this place or else I wouldn’t have stayed. Just don’t go here. The worst part about it is that it was so dirty. Floors hasn’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long. I actually had Lysol wipes with me and did a wipe down of the whole place. Yes there was dust and dirt. So they clearly didn’t clean before we came. Only thing good about this place is that it’s on the beach. That is it.

The room itself was very clean and accommodating on arrival. We only received fresh towels on one occasion, leaving soiled linens behind. Sand accumulated and I used a towel to "sweep" the floor to prevent sand from spreading everywhere. Although booked as a non-smoking facility, smoking was allowed EVERYWHERE except the rooms. This included right outside our room which was surrounded by pot smoke, as people sat outside their rooms smoking constantly. Despite complaints where we were assured they shouldn't be smoking in those areas, it continued: on the decks, at the bar and at the beach. A totally disgusting experience. I was also accosted by a drunk woman waving a grocery list, asking me to get her groceries. My belief is the suites are housing DSS recipients, which makes any guest stay undesirable. Never, ever recommended Sandy Shore Motel!!!

The freshly made beds had sand in between the sheets The people partied outside my room until 2 AM on a weekday Low class establishment, low class patrons however the air conditioner worked great

The location is excellent, the apartment was very nice and well kept, I only hated that it reeked like cigarettes, I opened the windows but it seems people next door smoke indoors. Sleeping was rough with that awful smell.

Staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately our first room’s ceiling started leaking during a bad storm. That room was updated. The second room that put us in was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the view from the window was beautiful, but the room needed updating.

Would not recommend this motel unless your looking for a crappy beach hotel Was in town for a wedding and the pictures on the website looked nice. Far from that. Not a picture on the wall, lamp on the night stand or even as much as a box of tissues. 1/2 roll of toilet paper Mini frige was in the bottom of the closet no door on the little freezer part of it. Completely iced up. A lot of black crud on the outside of the AC. For over $700 for 2 nights yes I did expect a little more

The only good thing was that fact the beach was a hop skip and a jump away. The hotel had fruit flys all over the place. We went to stop and shop to get a fruit fly repellent and it did not work. We had zero WiFi, normally we bring a Roku device when we go on vacation for the night time and we could not set it up due to zero internet. I spent $120.00 on data for my phone just to be able to watch our Roku. There was no microwave as well. I am highly upset at the price we paid for the terrible service. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade and better service. When asking one of the questions employees about the internet issue , they told me to go to office and connect and maybe it would follow me to my room. That to me is just crazy, for the price we paid we should have had internet and no flys all over are room.

Check-in was wonderful. The woman at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean, but the accommodations were extremely outdated. There was only 1 hanger in the closet. The floor took a definite shift down the closer you got to the window. The chairs for the high-top table were broken. Water stained drop ceiling tiles at the door.

The room was great. Super clean and modern. It was walking distance to almost everything. The staff was really nice and helpful. The little beach was really nice. Our only drawback was the loud music at the bar area. And, it went until late at night. We didnt realize it was going to be that way. But, other than that, the place was is great!

We have stayed there for two years now. This year was a bit of a disappointment. Our door was left wide open two days in a row after housecleaning was in there. When reported we were told that their locks were being replaced in august and that they were sorry. After the first time this was no longer acceptable. We had all of our belongings in there as well as our children’s belongings. The second time we went down to inform the office there was no real explanation and we received the same explanation as the locks were being replaced in august.

This hotel is right on the ocean as is their bar. It's not a quiet hotel as the other side faces the main road into the beach. There are 4-5 restaurants/bars within walking distance, which is very convenient.

The room was clean but stark - It was end of season. All restaurants on street closed for breakfast. No coffee machine or coffee provided. No breakfast. The only saving grace was the view and the sound of the waves. Otherwise ,poor value for the price.

Great Motel! Beach, Bar and soooo laid back! Loved sitting at the bar and getting food brought to me from the restaurant across the street. The beach was fab and super clean! All the staff were kind and professional! Will definitely go back again!!!!

Great clean New England mom and pop owned property. The staff are wonderful. Private beach with beach bar with food available. Owner also owns the restaurant/pizza shop and convenient store across the street and offer 5% discount for motel guests. Great location. Food, shops, state beach all within a 2-10 min walk. Definitely coming back again.
