A beautiful property and grounds in a lovely neighbourhood. Fantastic breakfast and snacks in the room. Reasonably convenient for walking into town (and a very quick drive if you want to save your legs).

Lovely place. Spacious room in the "Stable" decorated with a mix of antiques and compatible reproductions. Most comfortable bedding I have ever experienced. Room was very thoughtfully appointed with everything you might need. Well-appointed bar with wine and Old-fashioned glasses. Bath salts and candles next to the large Jacuzzi tub. Roomy tiled shower. Very nice private porch overlooking well-appointed backyard. Breakfast was delicious. And Chatham itself is a picture-postcard town with lots of opportunities for viewing 200-year-old Cape Cod architecture and lovely bay views. Will definitely return!

Quiet and quaint property with kind, friendly, and caring staff and impeccably kept grounds. At the beginning of our stay we were greeted by a friendly staff member who gave us short tour of the main house, and then brought us to our room (Northern Light) and showed us all the amenities. My wife and I were both taken aback by how friendly and inviting the staff member was - she showed us through the kitchen and invited us to come in any time of day to grab something to eat or drink any time we wanted. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and other landscape features throughout the property. We enjoyed relaxing in the gazebo (with the heat lamp!) and just listening to the din of nature and the surrounding community. We were charmed by the personal attention every staff member showed to us and the other guests. For example, we borrowed two bikes to take a ride to the downtown area and as we were getting things ready, the groundskeeper came over and made sure the equipment was in good working condition before we left. The breakfast each morning was excellent, served in a beautiful enclosed porch with great views of the surrounding gardens. It was a bit cold for us to eat outside in the garden during our stay, but I'm sure that would be a great experience as well. We've never stayed where the staff treated you so kindly - almost as if you were family. Captain's House Inn is definitely on the list of places we intend to return.

Our stay was very nice the staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very good! Only problem was our air conditioning which was fixed after one night. Also shower was very small and difficult for my husband with no grab bar!

Wonderful, attentive staff handled every request with a smile. As we arrived, we were greeted by three different staffers who were passing by the concierge desk. Each of them stopped to welcome us. The building and grounds show their age but still offer comfort and quiet in an historic home close to Chatham's busy center.

We had an amazing stay at the Captain’s House Inn. The property is beautiful and well located. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were so professional and friendly and really were the best part of the Inn. Shoutout to Anoushka, always smiling and making us feel welcome. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been better sheets ( Egyptian cotton) and the bathroom could use some updating. We hope to return one day.

The inn was cozy and quaint. The staff very friendly and helpful. Loved sitting by the fireplace in our room in comfy chairs and just relaxing. Breakfast was very good and filling. Will be going back.

We enjoyed this property because it was more like staying in someone's lovely home. The garden was a great place to relax and our room and the interior was charming. Breakfast was lovely but the service was a bit haphazard. The staff were all friendly and welcoming but they were obviously very overworked and unfortunately was very noticeable.

We were charmed by the personal attention every staff member showed to us and the other guests. For example, we borrowed two bikes to take a ride to the downtown area and as we were getting things ready, the groundskeeper came over and made sure the equipment was in good working condition before we left. The breakfast each morning was excellent, served in a beautiful enclosed porch with great views of the surrounding gardens. It was a bit cold for us to eat outside in the garden during our stay, but I'm sure that would be a great experience as well. We've never stayed where the staff treated you so kindly - almost as if you were family. Captain's House Inn is definitely on the list of places we intend to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Captain’s Inn! We were welcomed with a text message before we even arrived, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and to ensure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and early departure.

We had an amazing stay at the Captain’s House Inn. The property is beautiful and well located. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were so professional and friendly and really were the best part of the Inn. Shoutout to Anoushka, always smiling and making us feel welcome. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been better sheets ( Egyptian cotton) and the bathroom could use some updating. We hope to return one day.

This was an excellent day. The property is historic and so beautifully maintained. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff was beyond nice. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had in any B&B. I’ve stayed at. I wish we were able to stay longer, but will definitely be back..
