Loved the on sight restaurant and tiki bar

The staff is amazing. The property is on the beach. The only issue I had is the parking. It gets full and its not very convenient when it happens. I loved the room. Its so clean and vibrant. The staff though is attentive and right on any issue you have. Ill be back and I will recommend to others.

Overall it was a good place to stay with small kids. The room was cute and it seemed very clean. Staff were very nice. The kids really enjoyed the arcade room. The restaurant next door was convenient. The cons were that the Wi-Fi was spotty and it seemed like the parking wasn’t enforced because at busy times the parking lot would be full and we would have to wait for a spot to open up. Seemed like people were parking there who weren’t staying there.

The property was very clean and nice staff No outdoor accommodations or pool. Under construction. But, definately will stay again.

Beautiful renovated building Walking distance to many different food places. Right on beach. Has great Tiki bar and restaurant. Will be back real soon.

The beds were very comfortable, clean rooms, great staff. While food was really good the limited time (breakfast not until 8am) and take out only until 11:00am was very inconvenient. No one monitors the pool and there was seldom any towels so everyone had to buy them, and too many unsupervised children in the pool

Hotels.com said there was a pool, there was a lot of construction and no pool?? The pictures and description needs to be updated

The tiki bar wasnt open. They had a lot of renovation work going on. And the elevator didn’t work properly the morning we were leaving. But the hotel was beautiful, our room was great, and the location and access to the beach were perfect

The pictures online show a clean, brightly colored beautiful updated hotel room. Upon arriving we were met with a dirty floor, shower shelf that is barely hanging on and caulking to patch up places. They left a tiny broom in the room that we used to sweep the floors. The bathroom floor alone was filthy and visibly looks like it hasn't been mopped in a while. A little sand is understandable, being that we're at the beach, but it was dirt not sand. We were on the second floor; it's more of a dune view instead of ocean view with a small balcony and two plastic chairs. The lobby looks decents but the room was not worth over $230 for one night.

Pros- oceanview, convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops, Brits donuts, Tiki Bar on pier is part of hotel (pricey). Very friendly staff and tried to make stay the best they could. Cons- zero hot water most of our stay and very low water pressure. At one point there was literally no water coming out of hot water spiciet in sink. They said they had never heard about this before yet several reviews mention it (didnt see them before trip or would have booked elsewhere), sand on floor upon arrival (also mentioned in several reviews). I get it’s a beach hotel but rooms should NOT have sand filled floors when you walk in ESPECIALLY if the HILTON name is going to be attached to it!

Really fun theme for this hotel and looks recently remodeled, however, the pool and building it was in were really in need of help. There was mold on the ceiling, lots of rust and open spots in the doors and areas around the pool, the door wasnt locked in any way so anyone could walk in and swim or wander into the hotel. The lobby and room itself were clean and well kept.

The indoor pool had a ton of mold on the ceiling and the chlorine was so strong it burned my eyes!!!

The positive part of this review is that the supervisor was understanding and I received partial refund for my stay. Overall, I had a very uncomfortable stay. There was a waterbug (oriental cockroach) in my room. When asked to be relocated to a different room due to cleanliness issues, I was denied due to full occupancy for the holiday weekend. The hot water went in and out throughout my stay (tough with small children). The room itself was not very clean upon arrival (sand on the floor) humid smell. Rough bedsheets and no housekeeping in sight throughout my stay. On the last day without any warning construction noise right outside my door at 7:30am completeley frightened us and my child out of sleep. Unfortunately, wouldn't visit here again. Despite it being right on the beach and next to a wonderfuel pier.

We had a double bed oceanfront room and the view was great! The hotel grounds looked and felt nice and clean. The staff were friendly and super helpful when we asked about activities. The only downside is that the room was not swept. There was lots of hair all over the floors. We kept our shoes on but the amount of hair and debris on the floor was gross. Everything else looked clean but with the hair everywhere it didn’t make me feel confident in the cleanliness. We did clean Would I stay again yes! We were only there for two nights but for a longer stay I would definitely request additional cleaning. We did our cleaning but didn’t get to sweep.

THIS PROPERTY WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. IT SMELLED OF STRONG MILDEW, AND WATER WAS RUNNING DOWN THE WALLS

This was my little girl’s first beach trip. It was a family trip, and a bit sentimental for all of us due to that & my FIL’s recent passing. We booked the Oceanview Suite with a King, a Queen & a bunk bed to have enough room for 5 people. Imagine how mad I am finding a loose stimulant pill for narcolepsy/ADHD that would’ve killed my daughter in the pillow/linens drawer. Now, imagine how mad I am for the reason I was using that drawer. Housekeeping apparently uses room 502 to hide & nap or they just don’t clean the bunks. The bunk had no linens, black footprints on the mattress cover, a mostly full Pepsi can wedged into the mattress with lipstick on it, jewelry & dirty tooth plaque pickers. It was FULL of sand. Housekeeping only brought sheets with no real apology & later texted offering a “full service” cleaning. ROOMS SHOULD BE CLEANED BEFORE GUESTS ARRIVE. PAID FOR SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS SHOULD BE USABLE! The room also stunk & the beds are uncomfortable anyway. The good reviews are due to the restaurant and the exterior paint job at the hotel. This is not a safe or clean place for families with children. All this for triple the price of a nicer hotel in Florida or literally any other beach. $1700 for 3 nights lmao. Go to Charleston and live nice for that money. This is roadside motel scummy with a tiki bar.

The room was clean. We loved having the little kitchen. Our view was fabulous - the sunrises were gorgeous. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They made the stay very nice.

The only negative I have is the tv. Most everywhere has a smart tv these days and they don’t have that here yet. It had cable so there wasn’t a lack of something to watch but we usually just pull up our account for streaming to catch up on shows we’ve been watching at home so that was a bummer but otherwise everything was great!

We have stayed here for years and understood the ongoing construction and are excited for the renovations. However, wireless at a minimum was terrible and I had to work but could not due to no wireless. It did not ruin the trip but certainly put me in a position on my job. Wireless is essential to work remote and it failed consistently.

The staff was lovely. The room was in a separate building that was a motel (door to the outside) which ended up being a bit of an ordeal. The room was obviously recently updated and clean. There were two dead roaches on the floor of the room but I didn't see any live ones. The bed was the most uncomfortable experience I've had in a long time. The ocean view was great and the beach was quiet.

The best view possible loved my stay very insulated so no hearing everyone else and visa versa.

We stayed in the South building. Room was large and comfortable. Bed was VERY firm. Took us a few days to get used to it. Oceanfront view was excellent. Tiki bar was great. Staff was very friendly. Only bad thing was the internet. Wi-Fi was basically unusable and even though our phones showed 5G it was nearly impossible to go online from the room. Outside the room and at the bar it worked fine.

Love all the upgrades of furniture flooring and bathroom, only complaint was sound of doors banging constantly due to what we assume was wind. Need a door wedge or something to keep doors from being so loose.

We loved the location. Beach and pool access was very convenient. We were in the family suite with the bunk bed. It was perfect for our needs. The coffee in room was really good for a hotel. The water pressure was good and the water was hot. The beds were comfy. There were some renovations going on which didn't detract from our stay. We will stay there again next time we are in the area. We were in town for a funeral and it was a rough trip. We extended our stay an extra night because it was such a bright spot in our trip. Staff was very nice and accommodating as well.

We had three rooms. Last name is Holleran. I asked the front desk to kindly sweep out the floor and the bathroom at 8 AM on our second day of arrival and it was never done when I call down the young girl at the desk. Kaylee was very sweet said that the housekeeping had gone home and if I wanted it, she would come up and do it by 24 hours had passed and we never got any kind of cleaning and we had asked for..

The fact that I had to clean up everyday until I called to have housekeeping come but then all they did was bring in fresh towels and made bed. They did not leave any coffee cups or clean floor. I had to keep using the same paper ones. My husband had to take garbage down to the desk twice. The staff was friendly and courteous. This was my honeymoon and they did leave us popcorn and picture frame. I don’t think I would book here again.

Consistently warm, professional staff who each took the time to check in and say hello and ask how things were going if there was anything I needed. Everyone had smiles and seemed happy to be working there as a team. The tiki bar was a lot of fun and the food was delicious I had fish tacos in the they were so fresh. The bartenders were engaging and took great care of all of the patrons in a timely manner. The room was fabulously clean beautifully appointed and the mattress so comfortable I had a great sleep two nights and a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back

We came over the 4th for a couple days at the beach. The property is beautiful and the check in staff was friendly. The tiki bar and views of the ocean were beautiful. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was just OK. The rooms were not cleaned or re-stocked each day. I think that maybe cleaning was available upon request, but for how much we paid for the rooms, I would have thought it would be standard, especially at a beach hotel with all the sand. We didn't see management staff around the property. The pool was pretty dirty with large chunks of hair that would stick to you in the pool. There were no re-stocked pool towels, which were one of the very few items they claimed to provide. People were smoking (cigarette and pot) across the property without any consequence. There was no continental breakfast and, for the price, I thought they'd have a little something available given that the restaurant/hotel don't provide room service. The restaurant was OK as well - food and drinks were incredibly expensive and staff seemed bothered that tourists were in their town and at their restaurant, which was the general sense we had not just at the hotel, but in Carolina Beach overall, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Given the cost of everything, there was a level of friendliness & service that was very much missing. With all the beautiful beaches in NC, we would not go back and would not recommend the hotel.

The assistant manager Nicole was the reason I would come back. She really cared about us being happy and did all she could to do so. Facility was convenient and had perfect beach access.

The main lobby was under construction but our room was amazing!! The view of the ocean from our balcony was definitely something to look forward to every morning and every night!!

This was a perfect hotel for a beach weekend! We had the beach front view with 2 queens and the view was beautiful and the room was perfect! The beach access was great and the restaurant/tiki bar next door was so convenient. The food was great too! The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The location is so close to anything you may need as well. Perfect for a fun beach vacay!

I really enjoy the location. The staff were friendly and even helped me with my mom and getting our bags upstairs. The rooms were clean, with a balcony overlooking the beach. Parking wasn’t bad. Definitely a great stay!!

The rooms were attractive and clean. The view from the ocean-side balcony was very nice. The staff was very friendly and approachable. To make this place a really top-notch destination, a continental breakfast should be included in the price.
