This hotel is located about 3 minutes from Carolina Beach.There are no ice machines or ice buckets. provided We were told we could purchase a bag of ice for $7.00! So when you arrive off the road trip to get there be prepared. Being older I noticed that there are no shower grab bars, the tubs are narrow, no phones to reach the front desk in your room.The have 2 pools but do not have beach towels for this purpose. Not quite the relaxing get away we planned. However, kudos to the photographer who took the pics for their advertising. Those looked charming.

Dry Dock Inn is in a great location within walking distance of the beach, boardwalk, and eating establishments. Both their pools were open, clean, with tables, umbrellas, and lounge chairs. They even had floaties we could use. Our room had laminate flooring, with beds in two separate rooms. There were ceiling fans and air conditioning units in both. In addition, there was a microwave and full-sized fridge. They even had a tub/shower combo. We loved the self-service combo lock on the door. The staff immediately responded to our requests. We highly recommend Dry Dock.

We stayed two nights, three days for a little get away with family. We booked the two room with kitchenette. The check in was very easy and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The property is very well kept. Our room was very clean and up to date. They have two pools to enjoy…very clean with lounge chairs and pool toys. Everything was in walking distance…beach, shops restaurants and carnival. We will definitely visit again 10/10

Wow! Super cute updated property walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. Awesome online check in process! I am officially a reformed AirBnBer! We had a room with two bedrooms. The kiddos shared a room with two double beds. They even had their own TV. The mini fridge was super cute and just what we needed. The room was super clean and smand liked great upon arrival. We didn’t use the grills but they are available. We used the pool and the kids had a blast. We love Carolina Beach and have stayed at other properties in the area. None of the other places were this nice yet they cost almost double. We highly recommend Dry Dock Inn and will definitely be back!

The check-in process was seamless…missing the human touch but very convenient. The property was recently renovated, it looks nice and it was very clean. The property has 3 little outside niche’s, 1 for grilling, 1 for gathering around and the other had ping pong and cornhole. There are 2 pools on the property as well. Overall a great stay and the price was reasonable. The walk ability was great as well!

Dry Dock Inn was a very nice stay. The room was clean and had USB ports for charging. I booked a standard room with one bed. It included a coffee maker, K cups, mini fridge and microwave, toiletries and hair dryer. The room had a small sitting area and large screen tv. My stay was very comfortable. Dry Dock has two pools which I did not use. Easy short walk to beach, restaurants and gift shops. Staff was welcoming, clear about essential information and supportive in recommendations about places to dine and shop. Parking was easy and free on site. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Dry Dock did not disappoint! The staff was very helpful before and during our trip. They answered all of our questions and were very prompt in their support. Our room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Dry Dock is a 3 minute walk to the beach and equally close to the boardwalk and places to eat. We cannot wait to come back!

For the price, you cannot beat this inn. The double room was surprisingly spacious, and the full kitchen was a big plus. There are also TWO pools, and of course everything in Carolina Beach is within walking distance. It is not fancy, but it is very clean, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Location was great. Short walk to the beach. Room was nice. A/C unit kept cutting on and off every 3-4 minutes throughout the night, which made for a not-so-great night of sleep. Aside from that, room was clean, property was nice. Staff was amazing and very helpful.

Property is an older motel that has been brought back to life. A short block away from the water but still very much feels like ocean front. Close to restaurants all within walking distance. Our stay was in a two bedroom apt style unit. All updated and new. Stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was very comfortable. However, the room did not have any seating except for 2 wooden stools. I ended up bringing my beach chair in and set it on a beach towel to use. Only one small mirror, just in the bathroom. I would also suggest an over the toilet space savor for storage as there is no storage space in the bathroom. The beds were very comfy. That was a plus.

The updates were obvious and unexpected. The negatives were no closet, only 1 chair to sit in and the constant walking of people in the room above was bothersome as you could hear every step over and over.

Very clean and cute decor. Perfect location. Check in and room access were a breeze. The rooms are not large, but everything down to the studs was recently renovated so it feels very fresh, clean and new with trendy decor. Its a quick easy walk to several beach access points and many restaurants and amenities. If your room is on the lower level, you may hear other guests above. Our room had ample sleeping spaces for our family, but no seating area in the room. But, you're at the beach so who cares! Ideal for a quick visit.

We needed an economical motel/hotel, so my expectations weren't very high. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into a welcoming, clean room with all the amenities. It was a close walk to the beach and to the boardwalk. Staff was friendly. Optional late checkout. Separate air conditioning controls in the 2 rooms.

What a great trip! Not only was Carolina beach gorgeous but our stay topped it off! Cameron was so helpful from the moment we got there and was accommodating to every need we had, always accessibly and very friendly! And I can’t rave enough about how clean this place was, the pools were well maintained and our room was very clean as well as updated and renovated! Iv been to plenty of motels where the price and the quality went hand in and hand but not this place, I think the price was very fair especially for how convenient the location was, right next to the beach and plenty of little beach stores and restaurants in walking distance! I would definitely give this place a 10/10 and would book again in the future! Thankyou again Cameron for such a great stay!!!

Was great to have a room with a separate bedroom. Can’t beat the price during the week for that location and 2 pools! We walked everywhere. Staff was very helpful and responsive to any issue. Our code didn’t work to get us in when we got there and they came immediately and were very professional. I would definitely stay again.

I cant gush enough about how cute this place is! If you're looking for bells and whistles this is not the place for you, but if you want a quaint room with excellent service, functional ammenities, and small details that make the stay perfect; this is the place for you. They have a cute little game area, well maintained pool, vending machines, and you can tell it was recently updated and well cared for. Next time I come back, this is where I am going to stay. Also, it is within walking distance of everything you need including the boardwalk, beach, and plenty of restaurants.

The hotel was under construction and the tvs were not hooked up so not tvs, the breakfast was a tiny muffin in a plastic wrapping and coffee and there were signs of consttuction everywhere. There was a horrible perfumy smell in the room. I would not recommend them!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is close to the beach so walkable. It is also close to restaurants and activities. The stairs to rooms on upper floors were steep and not great to climb with heavy bags. It’s not accessible for people who can’t climb stairs. The hotel does not have food on site and the staff was not often around or available but other than that it was fine.
