We really liked the convenience and the condition of the hotel. We also appreciated breakfast in the morning and the bar and pool on the deck. However, the mattresses were not comfortable. I also didn’t like the coffee in the bathroom and no microwave in the room. Also not specific to the hotel but we saw lots of cockroaches on the boardwalk. All that being said, we would stay again as long as it was only a day or 2.

The room was big with a great view. Beds were comfortable and they offered us free bottles of water upon arrival. The breakfast selection was good. Our grandson loved making waffles with a variety of toppings. The grill/bar by the pool was nice and stayed open until 10pm every night. The hotel was right in the water and had direct access to the beach. We enjoyed a nice walk and they had outside showers to rinse off before going back to our room.

Staff extra friendly and helpful. Beautiful beach view from our room. Rooms were clean and maintained well through out our stay. Enjoyed hanging out by the Tiki Bar relaxing.

Great one night get-away. Property was clean. Staff were all wonderful. Right next to the boardwalk and restaurants/bars. The Tiki bar on the property was very nice and relaxing. Would definitely recommend staying here, especially in the off season when rates are lower and it's less crowded.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location. Friendly staff. Loved the pool by the beach. Good drinks and delicious food a the bar by the pool. A few of the negatives: Parking was limited. We had a room for 6 and there was only 1 towel hook in the bathroom. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was very difficult to open and close.

I liked that everything was super close and a walking distance. The hotel though was not as clean as I thought it’d be. Looked like the shower was just rinsed and actually scrubbed. There was orange mold on the shower tiles

We usually stay at Hampton Inn because we like their beds as they are similar to ours at home and we get a good nights sleep. We walked on the beach and when we got back to the room my husband went to rinse his feet in the bathtub. We noticed a ring around the bathtub and dirt on the edge in the corner. We called the front desk and were told to call and speak to a manager in the morning. When called the manager seemed uninterested and I said at this point we hope the sheets were changed. He said they probably should have been. A housekeeper came and cleaned the tub and said I cleaned this room yesterday and didn’t see that so I don’t know what happened. We stayed at Fairfield Inn the next 2 nights.

Dirtiest room I have stayed in. Used sandals cause feet were black from the carpet. Skid marks in the toilet pubic hair on the seat and walls. Hair in the bed. Decided to check the mattress for bed bugs and saw the mattress had been soiled with something brown. The common areas seemed clean and breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and location was good. Parking was also good. But the room was so unclean i did not even complain because the standard was so low I did not even want them to come revisit. I dont expect beachside hotels to be spotless but dang.

Stayed here 2 years ago for Thanksgiving. This year was great as well. It was off-season and very quiet & peaceful. Room & view was great. There was no shampoo in the dispenser, which was not great once realizing while in the shower. Housekeeping could be a bit more diligent in checking these bottles in between guests. All staff from check-in to check-out was friendly & welcoming. The free breakfast was a typical breakfast. Nothing fancy, but plenty of options. I would definitely stay again.

I loved the location of the property. It's beachfront and literally right next to the boardwalk, so very convenient. The rooms were large, clean, and had nice amenities. The continental breakfast was good and I liked that it was available until 10am. The only issue I had was the AC in the room. After complaining that it wasn't working, someone came in and just adjusted it lower, which did not solve the problem, so we had to sleep in a hot room that night. The next day was more troubleshooting and finally we just got the whole unit replaced.

Birthday week. Our room was run down. The sliding door would not lock. The shower head was horrible. The room’s carpet was nasty. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. The whole room needed renovating. Dirty towel was stuffed down at the head of our bed. The cost was too high for the room. If the hotel advertising would have shown me the room we had, I would not have stayed.

Oh my gosh, this was a perfect place for us to experience the Carolina beaches! Staff was so accommodating & pleasant. The room was good size & the balcony was so nice to have with the ocean & beach view. A bit hot to sit out on it until the later afternoon hours. Loved the board walk right onto the beach, sand was soft, breeze was a blessing & having a beach umbrella & 2 beach chairs delivered, set up & picked up was wonderful. Rentabeachchair.com $40 for 9-5 use! Browsed the shops, coffee from nearby Crush & Grind, cold beverage @ the Silver Dollar & excellent smoked the fried chicken wings at Sunny Daze - Delilah was a delight!!

The PM shift guy was angry because his collegue was 10 minutes late and the check in was very unpleasant. On the contrary, the auditor who arrived later was very friendly, as was the person who checked me out.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but this is by far the BEST experience I've had. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, my room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, and the breakfast was really good. I was also pleased with the hotel's proximity to the beach and boardwalk so I didn't have to drive. This has now become my go-to hotel for all my beach trips.

The staff throughout the hotel and throughout our one-day stay were all wonderful. I wrote about the wonderful ladies who helped me with my checkin to ensure my stay during my special day was perfect. Other staff continued the exceptional courtesy, wishing me well as we interacted for various reasons. Additionally, the bathtub had a rough bottom that protected me from slipping. While I suspect this is meaningless to most, I slipped in a hotel tub when I was 3 months pregnant (the baby and me were fine) and 30 years later continue worrying about slipping again.

The beds were very uncomfortable and we were not able to check in until almost 2 hours after normal check in time. Since it was so late to check in we were told we wouldn’t get room service to clean the following day and with 3 kids and 2 adults staying in a room, we ran out of towels and pillows quickly and had to wait a second day for replenishments.
