Great little hotel with a homey atmosphere, super friendly service and really cute decor. Our room was just big enough for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and they have a bunch of little extras available for no charge...tooth brush, tooth paste, coffee, tea, water, mints, etc. The first floor rooms have are suites with a kitchen. Easy walking distance to the boardwalk. Overall, this is a great place for a quick stay in Carolina Beach.

Great pet friendly place, has an unfenced area in the back for the dogs to run and do their business. Everything in the room was very comfortable only thing is the showers are small but as a tall guy you’re already used to that. We will definitely stay here again.

The room was nice and clean. a few things were not completely correct. there was no pool on the property and was advertised when i booked as having a pool and around 6am one morning in one of the rooms by us sounded as if they were moving furniture around. which was very loud.

While there is no real interaction with staff, this inn was immaculate and very easy to navigate. With parking directly outside and the beach acces within 2 blocks, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped and with a separate bedroom it was easy to watch tv while my husband slept. The property is also dog friendly! This place is not fancy at all but suited us much better than a hotel room. We would stay again.

Great stay at the inn. We love how close it was to eating establishments and the beach/ boardwalk. Really liked that this place allows pets. Will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

It was a cute, clean, very convenient Inn. Coffee and water always available. Parking was easy and you could walk everywhere so you could keep your car parked. Highly recommend it!

States there is a pool, but there is not one.

The beach was across the street, easy walk. we brought our dog. there was a pet relief area out our back door with bags to dispose of the waste.

Love this place! Really nice and clean can literally see boardwalk from the front porch. Going back in two weeks staying in same apartment.

Room was small, but very clean! Our dog loved the patio as did my wife & I. We had coffee every morning (provided by hotel staff). Beach was literally 5 min walk from hotel. Loved our stay and will come again!!

Sand on the floors. Had to sweep it up myself just so I could go without my shoes.

We really enjoyed our stay. From making the reservation to checking out it was great. close to some great eating places and a wonderful creamery within walking distance. The place was so clean and comfy. Highly recommend!!

The manager was very friendly and personable. She gave suggestions of places to eat in the area and made sure we didn't need anything. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Coffee and water are available as well. Communication was great too! We hope to stay here again in our future vacations!

My only concern is the lack of comfortable mattress. For me, it was like sleeping on concrete. I woke up every couple of hours in pain. The room was the perfect size for a short stay for two people and was very clean and quiet.

Our stay was just okay. The rooms need a deep cleaning. The bedding sheets were old so I wasn’t comfortable sleeping at all. And I wasn’t happy with the 10pm noise curfew. We paid too much money not to be able talk past 10pm. I wouldn’t stay here again.

First, the good: cute place and near the beach. The unit itself is great for what it is. It’s just an old building. So if you are ok w loud noises, this place is great just be sure you get an upstairs unit. The bad: we were on the first floor and the people above us both nights were stomping and super loud and we slept terribly both nights. I feel bad writing this cause it’s not the properties fault but we did submit a complaint, and the people above us were still super loud. You can hear every step and they were stomping till 2 AM. It was pretty annoying.

It was a nice stay. Don’t expect the royal treatment because there is none. The room was really small but nice for just sleeping. The noise can be really annoying because the walls are not soundproof. Needs a lot of updating.

Finally, it’s pet friendly, and our neighbor’s dogs started yapping at 6:15 AM. I thought that was rude, but so be it. The room and bathroom was small but totally adequate. The shower was very small - I’m 6’4”, so beware tall folks.

Carolina Beach Inn is adorable with great aesthetics. The communication is great from the time you make the reservation to the time you check out. Housekeeping is wonderful - I think her name was Neha and she was the sweetest and accommodating. We stayed in room 3 on the bottom level, which I would advise to avoid if possible. It’s under the stairs and shares walls with 2 other rooms that have zero insulation or noise protection. The people next door partied all night and their dogs barked incessantly. The walls were so thin I could hear every word of their conversations. This room also is under 2 different hotel rooms upstairs and there is no noise protection under the hard wood. Between the relationships and walking around all hours of the night, we got no sleep and decided to leave the hotel early. It’s a bummer because the hotel is adorable and close to the beach.

The place was actually pretty well run for not having a front desk. I'm old school and prefer people on site to receive you, but as online check-ins go, they were first-rate, and communicated well. It's a nice sort of BnB feel, and nicely kept up, renovated, and generous with items you may need. I would return here despite online check-in, check-out.

This place was great for our family to do an impromptu trip to the beach for one night. The staff that helped with the issue with our booking was beyond helpful. Expedia had the info wrong and the hotel staff made it right! Thank you Bridgett!

Bridget helped with a couple of initial snafus and my trip most pleasant and would recommend this Inn because of its uniqueness and customer service.

Whoever answers the phones was not very nice.

Great location. We had a family emergency at the beginning of our stay and the Carolina Beach Inn was very nice and worked with us to minimize the impact to our finances. They were able to refund us some of our stay. I will definitely come back this season and stay at the Carolina Beach Inn again. Thank you for what you did Carolina Beach Inn!

Nice rooms located in the perfect location close to everything. Very responsive staff.

Overall, I have to give the Carolina Beach Inn a Terrible rating. With the exception of the Pet Area, which was actually quite attractive and convenint, my wife and I were extremely disappointed. 1) The Coffee Bar had a Keurig, creamers and Sweeteners... unfortunately, No Cups. (Minor inconvenience) 2) With no time to have maintenence fix the broken Hairdryer and make our dinner reservations in time, my wife was forced to dine with wet hair. (Again... minor inconvenience) The Carolina Beach Chop House -- EXCELLENT, btw). The reason, however, for my "Terrible Review" is two-fold. First, the toilet didnt flush. I learned that late that night adter midnight. My wife... moments later. We had to search for a place to relieve herself. (Major Inconvenience!) Later, shortly after we woke up, we decided to cut our stay short, and we left for home. I called CBI to let them know that we left a day early, and why. Hoping for a Refund for the 2nd day, CBI refused, saying that we should've called to have a maintenance worker fix the problem. I explained that there was no time for a Hair Dryer repair. As far as the Coffee Cups, McDs was nearby. HOWEVER, the Toilet that Wouldn't Flush at about 1:00 a.m. was HUGE! Soil her pants while waiting for maintenance to arrive WAS NOT AN OPTION. Had Carolina Beach Inn management done the right thing, I suppose I'd have given my stay an Average rating. Unfortunately, they did not.

No sheets for the pull out couch bed. No one to ask about this. I will never use this property again.

Liked how everything is walkable, you’ve got restaurants around you; britts donut shop right there that you can walk to and an ice cream place.

I like the property but if you’re someone who needs quiet to sleep you may have some trouble. I loved the convenience and it’s very quaint and thoughtful. The water pressure is incredible to get sand and shells off. I love an ice cold window unit just be aware it’s at the top of your head so you want to keep a decorative pillow on the bed to block a bit of air on your head. It feels great. Cute vintage microwave and fridge/freezer. The bed is a 6/10 and needs a new mattress but for what I paid it’s no big deal. Entry with a code is so easy. Everywhere should do this. They also have a cute Keurig setup and cold water dispenser. It’s a quick two blocks walking to the beach and boardwalk and the free parking can’t be beat. Go to Celtic for ice cream and Crush and Grind for coffee and the speakeasy vibe upstairs for a craft cocktail.
