The Oceaneer is a nicely remodeled motel on the beach. Location is its greatest asset. It has some nice stylish touches but misses the mark in other ways. Bedding is comfortable but the fridge in the room seemed to be more a wine fridge for bottles or cans than a traditional fridge. The Keurig coffee maker was possessed. It took 3-5 attempts to get it to brew properly. Instead use the coffee machine in the lobby. Much better taste and options. We had bathroom issues. The diverter in the tubbthat switches water flow to the shower head did not work properly so we had weak shower flow. And after spending considerable money on the motel refresh, the grout on the bathroom tile was moldy or mildewy. Ick. The pool was nice and the outside chairs were comfy. The outside shower placed conveniently by the walkway from the beach was a nice touch. We had a good time, but the resort just didn’t nail down all the issues to make the stay flawless. But you cant beat tje location. We would consider it again.
