We enjoyed this hotel very much! You can’t beat the location next to the train station. Both restaurants in the hotel were delicious and so were the drinks in the bar on the 7th floor. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Super Lage, direkt am Bahnhof. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück war sehr gut und das Menü im japanischen Restaurant war auch sehr gut. Nette Bar mit "guten" Cocktails (wir haben keine Bar in Japan erlebt, die Cocktails zubereitet, wie wir sie kennen. Alles sehr schlicht und zum Teil auch nicht sehr gut). Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Room was spacious and very clean. Very convenient to train station and easy to catch airport bus close by. Only downsides were the hotel did not have coin laundry and had to pay extra fee to use gym. Would still highly recommend

The convenience to the train was perfect, as it is quite literally attached to the station, but otherwise it’s quite far from the main areas of town. The overall look of the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. The pool area is a bit dated but clean and the pool was nice as were the dressing rooms

We loved the hotel, property and staff. We were very disappointed about the pool that was advertised as you need to pay per person to swim in it. The cost was approx 1850 yen per person. Also, booked a room for 3 people. Got an upgrade that had a king bed and a sofa bed. When we called downstairs for bedding, they wanted to charge us an extra 5,000 yen per night. After a bit of discussion they did not charge us.

The staff were nice, the hotel clean, and right there at Hiroshima Station. The hotel food was ridiculously priced by any standard (especially breakfast), and the “open concept” bathroom is going to be a deal breaker for a lot of people that might be sharing a room and might not want audience when they shower or use the toilet (glass doors that transition from mostly frosted to transparent; ladies, everyone in the room will see your breasts). There’s no place to change privately unless you fit in the armoire.

This hotel is connected to the train station with a covered walkway. Very convenient if it is raining heavily. Breakfast buffet was nice. Easy to eat at the train station, too. One drawback is the room was not really family friendly. The unlockable and almost see through bathroom doors although pretty were not very functional.

The best hotel in Hiroshima in our opinion. The king size corner room had an excellent view of the city. The room was quiet and clean. Bathroom was huge. It is connected to the train station and Shinkansen which was so convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We will stay here every time we come.

Good comfy beds. Very clean. Can’t understand why the bathroom is part of the main room and going to the toilet didn’t feel very private as a result. Tried to get lunch at 14.00 but was told lunch was no longer being served (found that odd as they advertised it as finishing at 14.30). Despite that breakfast was good and most of the staff pretty good, but on the whole I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

とてもおしゃれできれいな部屋でした。当然ではありますが作りが欧米的という感じで、・トイレに鍵がない・トイレ、お風呂は真ん中辺りは軽い摺りガラスっぽく一応見えなくはなっているがまぁまぁ見える・脱衣所的な場所がなく、脱着衣する場所がない家族での宿泊でしたが、年頃の娘もいたので上記の点は気になりました。それ以外はほぼ問題はないです。

not much to do near the hotel. we therefore rely on the hotel restaurants. for some reasons all restaurants were always fully booked for all 3 meals. but when going to the restaurants., it was always empty. we were really disappointed since we paid a lot of money for this hotel. it was our last 2 days in japan and we wanted to spend it away from the crowd and all the action. very disappointing . lots of staff and polite but not useful .

I spend a lot of time in Hiroshima and have stayed at many hotels in the city but this was my first stay at the Sherton because it is often the most expensive of all the hotel choices. I often wondered if it was a good value for the cost. There were many nice elements but at te same time there were many awkward moments. The Sherton obviously caters to a very International clientele. For this reason, I was surprised that the check in process was awkward. For example, instead of asking if we would like to arrange a late check out, the receptionist asked when we would like to leave as if there is an option to leave as late as you would like. It was my birthday and the receptionist presented a small bouquet of flowers to my husband and wished him a happy birthday. We rserved a room on an Executive Floor with Lounge access. The room was large by Japanese standards and had a King size bed. The room was clean. There is a Nespresso coffee machine and a small fridge/mini bar that only contained two cans od Pepsi and two cans of Pepsi Zero. Although I read many reviews regarding the small size of the Club lounge and the limited offerings, I decided to wait and see for myself rather than trust other reviewer\'s opinions. In this case, I should have trust the other reviewers. It is the smallest lounge in any hotel I have ever stayed at. The offerings were very limited during what they were calling "Tea Time" and "Happy Hour" So is the Marriot a good value for the money, probably not.

To celebrate my sister’s achievements, I wanted to treat her with a hotel accommodation and a special meal. She wanted a Hokkaido buffet at a buffet restaurant called Bridge at this hotel. The assistant manager, Mr. Yamada went above and beyond along with the staff to ensure we had a special table by the window at our desired time regardless of super-booked reservations. My sister was delighted and made her a special memory that would stay forever. The hotel staff know how to provide surprise and delight to customers.

Good place to stay in Hiroshima. Only problem area is check in- we left bags, ca me back at 3, room not ready, told to wait , they forgot us do in end went up to reception again and they had the key ready but not told us. Always lots of people sitting waiting to check in and it seems two people on each terminal…and they struggle to sort stuff on the system… our breakfast booking had to be queried…. Why is this ( and other members of the group) the only one where we seem to always wait ages at reception? Had this before. Only hotel in Japan we stayed at where reception was slow or at standstill. Staff try hard but it must be a system issue, a training issue or not enough staff

We were refused breakfast because we didn’t have a”coupon “ which was never mentioned to us when checking in. No bar service available after 20:00 . Washing machine didn’t dry out laundry. No coffee/tea in the room very disappointing and would not stay here again!!

There definitely are some great aspects of staying near the station. There’s an amazing eating area with a plethora of popular restaurants as well as one of the best supermarket with pre-made foods. It is a little further away from the sites/shopping areas but there’s a great set of bars adjacent to the station complex that we saw during the day but looked like they’d come alive at night.

The location is awesome if you want to be next to the train station. It is 1.5 to 2.5 miles away from all the major attractions. The buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing, it was great to get up have a great breakfast and then head out to explore everyday. The bath tub in the room was awesome to take a hot bath at the end of the day. There are no views of the city or anything except train tracks and the drop off for the train. If you love amazing views this place doesn’t have them. Other hotels will have views of parks and water. The train station has lot of restaurants, shopping and even a great little grocery store all within a few minute walk of this hotel.

Perfect location right in Hiroshima Station. Accessible to all public transport. Rooms are big. Buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of Western and Japanese breakfast. The Lounge offers a great meal and snacks with wine etc for happy hour.

Hotel staff were terrific. Helped us with train information. Very clean. Breakfast was plentiful - fresh juices, coffee, eggs made to order. It was very cold one night and while we wanted to explore, we didn’t want to go outside. We ate sushi at the restaurant and it was wonderful!
