Location was excellent. A quick walk across the street to the boardwalk and beach. Our room was on the bottom floor. It was clean, the air conditioner worked well and new towels and toiletries were provided everyday. We stayed for 6 nights. It was cost effective, the only downside was the pool is very small, but that was in the reviews.

Older property, needs updated to standards and safety. Very tight parking lot makes it super difficult and inconvenient. You get what you pay for I suppose. Staff was amazing, but always missing or not on site.

The Sea Breeze Inn has seen better days - it could use a new paint job, and some weak wood on the stairways should be reinforced. Our bathroom towel bar was missing and our bathroom window's closing latch seemed to be broken (Rm. 307). Coffee in the morning would be nice to have. But these were minor issues for us. Our room was clean and the beds were fine, and the location was excellent, just a block from the boardwalk. The price was the best that we found in the area, too. So overall, we were pretty happy with the Sea Breeze Inn, and we would strongly consider staying there the next time that we're in town.

One of our tvs didn’t even work, floors you had to away shoes are you stuck on the floor. Gritty sheets. Front desk staff not friendly. The only friendly person was clair. It was in a good spot but just wasn’t a nice place the pool with 2x2. Was very disapointed

You get what you pay for. Close to the boardwalk and many attractions. Its a place to sleep and shower then go. The shower is small and in our unit (106) the water temp fluxuated from just cold to just hot! The towels are the size of postage stamps so i'd bring your own.Oh and no coffee maker! No table either. The parking is very tight as well. As i said close to alot and cheap!

Despite what it says on Expedia the front desk is not 24 hours, in fact the office doesn't open until 9AM. There is a refrigerator and a microwave but you have to crawl over one of the beds to get to them and there isn't enough space to fully open the refrigerator door. No Ice on site, no coffee in room or on premises. I believe the motel opened in 1975 and the furnishings are probably original. The people that I had contact with were very nice but for what it offers and what it doesn't this accomodation is very over priced.

First off my fridge didn’t work plus the quote pool they have is a small square hot tub that isn’t hot basically a bath tub size no joke not to mention it’s $60 per pet that is non refundable which is ridiculous if my pet does no damage I should be able to get my money back also the lady that was running the counter was rude I will never stay here again such a huge waste of money

Believe the NEGATIVE reviews. I have worked with the unhoused, and this place needs to be condemned as it is worse than any homeless shelters I have volunteered at. The rooms smell like mold/mildew and smoke. The carpet was always wet. There were other people's hair all over the pillows/beds. Two thin hand towels per room. Underneath the bed I found an empty bowl of food, plastic utensils, my dog found a battery (which she could've swallowed), chips, rotting fruit, etc. The toilet still had someone's fecal matter on the seat and in the bowl. The beds were so gross I slept on top of my beach towels. The lock to the door never worked and I worried about my dog getting out. They placed my dog and I on an upper floor and I had to carry her up/down every potty break because they couldn't put me on the first floor. My dog began to itch from whatever is in the air there, and I got a sinus infection from the mold/smoke. I contacted the Hotels.com the moment I arrived, and they were not helpful, and I could not get a refund. I had to just stick it out for the night or sleep in my car. When I came home, I had to air out my duffle bag and wash everything as it stunk of the place. This experience taught me to always believe the negative reviews before booking. I wouldn't have paid $10 for this room. DO NOT stay here! In my almost 50 years, this is the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Staff was friendly, location was great and price was reasonable. Too bad the fleas that accompanied it outweighed the good. All of us were covered in bites and we ended up leaving early due to being absolutely miserable. We had fleas jumping off our bags that were on the floor, on the beds, crawling up our shoes and legs while walking around the room. They ended up in vehicles and in our house.

The front desk overcharged us $60 for our service dog. The parking lot had nothing handicapped accessible. We had to get our disabled selves and our dog up to the 3rd floor. The room service did not empty the trash or provide clean towels. There was significant black mold/mildew in the ceiling of the shower. There was no phone in the room and the TV did not work for the first day and a half. And worst of all we ended up with bed bugs. I would absolutely never stay there again.

The room was filthy, trash from previous occupants under the beds, a dirty washcloth left in shower, black pubic hair on sheets and in bathroom, the room reeked of wet dog. The flooring outside is dangerous and falling apart, someone left cigarette butts on the outside windowsill, the fridge and microwave were filthy, the mattress is so thin you end up feeling the wood platform. We did not enjoy our stay at this location.

Woke up and noticed I had bug bites all over my body. Bed was infested with bedbugs. Room was filthy and looked like it’s never been dusted before. No bath towels and the when I realized this I found out the lobby was closed so I have to dry off with a hand towel. I know it’s tempting to book because of the price, but trust me it’s worth paying more and going elsewhere.

Well, definitely get what you pay for. At $85/night i wasnt expecting the hilton style but i was expecting to not have to clean before relaxing. After driving 4 hours, last thing you want to do is scrub the bathroom. Didn't walk anywhere in the toom without shoes. Showered in water shoes. There was and probably still is a gatorade bottle inder the bed closest to the door in 209, that was there before we got there, idk how long but id check if you decide to stay after reading my review. The staff was ok, but we had to deal with going all the way down to the end of the "balcony" so we didnt have to walk through the partiers below us. Would i recommend to stay here? Maybe if i didnt like the person. Overall i give our stay a -4

I will never stay here again. Although it is close to the beach and the boardwalk, the parking is limited and the spots are the most narrow spots I’ve ever seen. I had to pull my car out in order for my family to get in because they couldn’t open their doors. The linens on the bed must have been 100 years old because they were as thin as paper. The pillows were like five cotton balls shoved inside a pillow case. Our AC in our room was so loud that we literally didn’t sleep for two nights. The lady at the desk asked if she could “fix” it and came in with scotch tape from her desk. We had to wear our sandals in the shower and while walking around on that extremely old rug because we felt gross inside. The worst is when I went to ask for more towels one night, the young man behind the desk so rudely said “you can get them at 9:30am”. I explained that I needed to shower tonight and he turned around and walked back into the room behind the desk. Not worth the money. This place should be $60 a night and not go up on weekends.

But things such as not being able to close the window in the bathroom once you opened it to allow for ventilation was not ideal. The dresser drawers kept sliding out on their own, causing havoc in the middle of the night when you had to get up and go to the bathroom, you’d end up walking into a drawer that you couldn’t see open because they’re so old. The bedframe stuck out farther than the mattress and we’re hidden by the blanket so constantly we were bashing our shins on that. And the fact that if anybody else in the hotel was using either hot or cold water and you were in the shower you’d either get scolded into death or frozen to death. That and when we checked in, we were asked to submit a credit card for incidentals. Incidentals for what? There was no mini bar. There was no anything in that room that would require anything for incidentals so that was kind of dodgy.

In the bathroom the towel bar was missing so could not hang towels up. Water temp in shower went from hot to cold and back even through you don’t turn the knobs. A/C unit is by bathroom door which in in a little hallway so you don’t really get much air from the unit in the rest of the room.

The property obviously hadn’t been invested in in any meaningful way in lots of years. There was one light in the whole room, tile missing in the bathroom where the shower also would spike scalding hot for no reason. The fridge stopped working the second day we were there so we lost all of our perishables. The television was a tube tv that was (no exaggeration) probably 15years old or more. The parking situation was horrible. Very few parking spaces and many people double parked with no one from the office correcting the problem. The only real plus for this place was the location. It was a straight shot across the street to the ocean and the beach, which I believe is why they put no money into improving the building or the rooms.

Did not like the shower, couldn’t adjust the water temperature easily, . No cursing and no broom provided to sweep the floor to remove the sand. No curtain provided for the bathroom window, had to place a towel there for privacy, brought it to the staff’s attention and was told to continue using the towel.

There is a refrigerator and a microwave but you have to crawl over one of the beds to get to them and there isn't enough space to fully open the refrigerator door. No Ice on site, no coffee in room or on premises. I believe the motel opened in 1975 and the furnishings are probably original. The people that I had contact with were very nice but for what it offers and what it doesn't this accomodation is very over priced.

Would not stay here again. Not the cleanest and bathroom had no exhaust fan to help with steam. There is no garbage can in the bathroom and taking a good shower is impossible bc the water changes from perfect to very hot or cold the entire time.

I will never stay here again. Although it is close to the beach and the boardwalk, the parking is limited and the spots are the most narrow spots I’ve ever seen. I had to pull my car out in order for my family to get in because they couldn’t open their doors. The linens on the bed must have been 100 years old because they were as thin as paper. The pillows were like five cotton balls shoved inside a pillow case. Our AC in our room was so loud that we literally didn’t sleep for two nights. The lady at the desk asked if she could “fix” it and came in with scotch tape from her desk. We had to wear our sandals in the shower and while walking around on that extremely old rug because we felt gross inside. The worst is when I went to ask for more towels one night, the young man behind the desk so rudely said “you can get them at 9:30am”. I explained that I needed to shower tonight and he turned around and walked back into the room behind the desk. Not worth the money. This place should be $60 a night and not go up on weekends.

The night shift staff was terrible and rude made me feel unwanted and like she had a problem with me and I’m a people person it was sad to see how she was treating me, on the other hand the first shift staff (kimberly) was an amazing person and very pleasant to deal with, gave me a smile right away to let me know she was open to conversation not like that lady from the night time she was looking at me with distain in her eyes and ridicule on the lips. If u need to stay just make sure it’s not at night time because u better beware that night time lady…..

Stay was fine, but while guest are there someone should be there 24/7. And speak English like you say they do. Disappointed with checking in and checking out. When I got there office was locked, went to check out this morning so we could get home around a decent time no one was there. That should not be happening.

The front desk overcharged us $60 for our service dog. The parking lot had nothing handicapped accessible. We had to get our disabled selves and our dog up to the 3rd floor. The room service did not empty the trash or provide clean towels. There was significant black mold/mildew in the ceiling of the shower. There was no phone in the room and the TV did not work for the first day and a half. And worst of all we ended up with bed bugs. I would absolutely never stay there again.

The place was ok for an overnight stay. The location to the boardwalk and beach was great. Young kids out on the sidewalk at 2:00 am was a little upsetting when trying to get sleep. Hotel staff was not very friendly and was charged extra money for checking in a bit early.

When I got there at 11 AM in the morning, they gave me a pass for my vehicle and when I came back to pay for our dog from the ATM, the lady at the counter gave me the key and I was able to get in our room before 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the housekeeping was excellent every day we had toilet paper and clean towels They were great and friendly would stay again. And there was no cockroaches in the bathroom or bedbugs in the bed very clean.

I had a great stay there. Yeah it's a little outdated and run down. Probably could use a deep cleaning But I had clean towels and clean sheets and I didn't see any bed bugs. you're not going to find anything else at that price point that has you right downtown. I parked my car the first day I got there and didn't have to drive it till the day I left. Everything is walkable from the motel

I ran a lot of reviews on the place before I went on my trip. And I brought my own towels and I brought my own coffee maker. So it wasn't that terrible for me. Their towels are small. But they do give you extra towels and I didn't even ask they bring you extra towels toilet paper soap. Customer service was very nice checking was easy. The air conditioner did work very well. It was very spacious. The room was clean. I checked the room thoroughly before I brought my things in. It's very close to the beach one block from the boardwalk. I enjoyed my stay and overall I had no problems.

The Sea Breeze Inn has seen better days - it could use a new paint job, and some weak wood on the stairways should be reinforced. Our bathroom towel bar was missing and our bathroom window's closing latch seemed to be broken (Rm. 307). Coffee in the morning would be nice to have. But these were minor issues for us. Our room was clean and the beds were fine, and the location was excellent, just a block from the boardwalk. The price was the best that we found in the area, too. So overall, we were pretty happy with the Sea Breeze Inn, and we would strongly consider staying there the next time that we're in town.

It was clean. The beds were nice. They only have tile floor and I hated that, no carpet. The shower was clean, but there was no water pressure, that was a pain. Otherwise, it was a good stay and I would do it again. It was close to all the downtown spots.

You get what you pay for. Close to the boardwalk and many attractions. Its a place to sleep and shower then go. The shower is small and in our unit (106) the water temp fluxuated from just cold to just hot! The towels are the size of postage stamps so i'd bring your own.Oh and no coffee maker! No table either. The parking is very tight as well. As i said close to alot and cheap!

The room was nice and it was clean. The beds were fine and the bedding was clean. It was also dog friendly, which was a plus and only one block from the beach and boardwalk was great. The pool is small but it was great for my grand daughter and us. There was also a place next to the hotel where you could get breakfast and lunch. The staff were very nice and if you needed anything extra all you had to do was ask. The only downfall was no coffee pot in the room and no toaster, as advertised. Also no table like they said there was. But other than that it was a great place to stay for the price. Would stsy there again.

Price was $60 more than what I booked for. Pool was full of sand and very small. There was a powerline dangling less than 6 feet above the pool (had to duck while walking around the pool). Property only has 12-16 parking spots for roughly 30-40 rooms. Parking spaces are also compact car size. Very disappointed. Will not be staying here ever again under the current management.
