Short walk from Montreux train station but got to look for the LIFT sign that will bring you from road at higher level down to next lower level where you will find hotel. Front desk very friendly and since room was ready allowed to check in early. Breakfast was additional charge at CHF 14 per person. Room on 3rd floor had some stairs to climb but must say the staff offered to carry lugguage up.

Room was great but more importantly staff was extremely courteous and helpful in every way to make our stay comfortable and memorable ! We stayed in the junior suite on the top floor with partial lake view which was spectacular. You need to climb 2 storeys to reach here but the room was definitely worth it. The area was very central to everything- grocery stores, buses and the Freddy Mercury statue! The hotel also provided us a Montreux Riviera Card with several discounts and free local transport. Would definitely return here! Thank you.

The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and pleasant. The rooms are very small; bed and pillow not very comfortable; you might have to negotiate stairs based on the location of your room. Well located across from the walking path by the lake and 2 minutes away from bus stop. From the train station, there are 2 lifts available on the Main Street (you really have to look and ask to find them). Otherwise lots of steps, not fun if you have suitcases.

Great staff, well appointed room, and ideal central location. Hard to come up with faults, but there are a couple. Firstly, parking is expensive, with really the only good option being 35 francs/day at a nearby public parking. Second, while being virtually right at lakeside, there happens to be a music stage on the lakeside that played into the late evening, at least when we were there. So, not the best for early-to-bed light sleepers.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location with very good reliable transport links. The staff at de la Rouvenaz were friendly and always accommodating. The rooms were kept to a high cleanliness standard. The attached restaurant offered a good selection on the menu which was very tasty. The next time I come to visit Geneva I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Unser Zimmer war sehr gross mit viel Platz. Im Zimmer war sogar eine kleine Küche integriert. Das Bad mit Dusche war klein aber sehr sauber. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Got a great room (#303) for 2 adults 1 toddler and staff were kind. No AC makes the summer heat a little rough but Montreux does cool down at night.

Please be advised that the rooms do not have air conditioning. This thus requires you to sleep with the windows open during summer months. If you are a light sleeper you will here the outside noise until 11 to Midnight. The other issue is you check in after 6 pm and they do have a receptionist after 6 pm, so make sure you get instructions on how to open front door and get the key for your room from a lockbox.

Two of the 3 bedrooms only had windows opening onto an airshaft. The other bedroom had windows opening onto the street, but there was a club or something nearby which was quite loud and so the windows had to stay closed, despite the heat.

Overall a nice place to stay. The breakfast is super limited and honestly not worth the cost. The restaurant attached to the hotel is really nice and we enjoyed a nice dinner there. Our room was comfortable and had a balcony that looked out to the lake. The only downside for us is that there is no AC in the room and no fan so it gets a bit stuffy. We opened the balcony doors to let some air in at night but its pretty loud outside due to the road being right there so if you are a light sleeper it will effect you.

Very comfortable bed. Street noise when the windows are open so had to sleep with them closed. Fortunately it is cool at night in October so it wasn't a problem for me. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Ideal location for enjoying the promenade along the lakeshore

This is a most wonderful place to stay in Montreux. We did pay for breakfast and it was well worth it. The staff is so helpful. We arrived after hours and the directions to get into the hotel and our room were excellent. It is close to the train station, restaurants, and right by Lake Geneva and the amazing promenade around the lake. Highly recommend!

Amazing the Clerk Janice was awesome and went above and beyond to help us fell welcomed and also provide details about the city and tourist attractions. She even helped us obtain metro vouchers for free! I would recommend this property to everyone!

Location was excellent! Room had a great lake view and was very comfortable. The only staff we encountered was at the front desk. She was great! We could walk to and from the train station, BUT on the route we took we had go DOWN towards the lake and encountered a LOT of stairs to go down, which leads towards the lake, turned left at the bottom of the stairs then a few blocks to the hotel. Escalator is available on the return to train station, in lieu of the LOTS of stairs BUT only an UP escalator. We had only carryon luggage, so it was okay on the down part, but if we’d had larger luggage we would’ve gotten a taxi or ride share. Overall it was a great location. The promenade along the lake is spectacular! Would definitely book this hotel again!

Great location and good dinner In restaurant. Breakfast was basic continental. Seating in breakfast area was hard Wooden chair which personally was uncomfortable for me however everything was clean and food good.
