This was our second stay at Dream. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and it’s a nice stroll to the meatpacking district and the west village. There is a pool on the roof, if you feel like doing that. Rooms are clean and updated. Price is reasonable. We’ll be back again!

I spoke to several staff before our stay and the pricing and understanding of the pool club was a total mess. I was given so many different answers and was so unclear about the wrist bands, lounge chairs, where we would lay if we got towels, etc. Very frustrating to get a straight answer

Checking in: I could barely hear the receptionist because the lobby was so noisy. Rooms were very poorly maintenande. The room didn’t feel clean, and the pillows smelled. On top of that, several things were broken, including light switches, the toilet flush button (!!), and electrical sockets. The soundproofing was also terrible, I could literally hear everyone walking past my room. The pool looked serene and inviting in the photos, but in reality, it was disappointing and not inviting at all. Loud music, dirty... The good: Great location, very close to the High Line and Chelsea Market. The breakfast was decent and came with a $30 credit to the hotel’s fairly basic store, which nonetheless had good food. Overall, most of the negative reviews are pretty much spot-on. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience.
