For the money it's not too bad but it's definitely a compromise. The place is average or worse for cleanliness and it is very dated. The streets around the hotel feel like a dangerous ghetto but it's actually safe and only a few blocks away you can buy a $10,000 purse at Louis Vuitton. That's just the way HK is. They also don't have the breakfast buffet that they advertise. On the plus side, the location is centrally located for activities and transportation.

Das hotel ist für den Preis in Ordnung. Natürlich ist es schön alt und dem entsprechend auch das interior. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Gleich in der Nähe gibt es einen lokalen Markt. Bett war bequem und der Ausblick war auch ok. Bad ebenfalls alt aber noch für HK Verhältnisse gut und geräumig.

First they put it in a room on the 9th floor. Room was not clean. No bath towels. There was only 2 small thin thin old towels. I was sick with food poisoning and had to extend my stay in the hotel until I feel better. I booked 3 more nights and paid more to get a better room. But they kept me in the same room. I told the manager I paid higher to get a better room, but he said the entire hotel is fully booked. I told him that my room says it should have a city view and pointed towards the window saying "this is city view". He was pointing to an old building blocking any view of the city.

Unfortunately there were cockroaches in my room. Thankfully, the staff allowed me to live to another room that was slightly better, but still felt unclean. The building is old and musty, and not well maintained. I would not recommend this place.

La habitación es extremadamente pequeña, imposible abrir el equipaje, no tiene ningún tipo de armario, camas duras como piedras, las cortinas de oscurecimiento no cubrían adecuadamente y entraba luz desde muy temprano, el ruido de la calle llegaba hasta el piso 32, tuvimos que utilizar tapones. Intentamos cambiar la habitación y nos dijeron que todas eran igual. Además la foto que aparece en Hoteles.com no se corresponde con ninguna habitación, por lo cual es engañosa. El hotel está muy viejo, el baño diminuto y con un escalón de entrada para dejarse los pies. Aparte, la zona es la peor de Cayseway Bay junto a un mercado bastante sucio. No volvería y no lo recomiendo en absoluto. Por una media de 140 eur la noche no merece la pena en absoluto.

Nice area, with local shops and local restaurants nearby. It is also close to shopping areas and European / US food outlets. If arriving by MTR take the Times Square exit as it’s closest to the hotel – the street footpaths are narrow and always bustling. The hotel itself doesn’t have security for use of the lifts, so anyone could knock on your door. Inside it looks a little dated. The room is very compact, which is the usual for HK. The room had a sharp chemical smell when first entering however the room is clean and generally well presented. A small kettle and coffee / tea is available with a small fridge. The shower is small, just over 2 feet deep, with a non-weighted curtain that just clings to you. There are rusted ceiling panels, the grouting of the shower tiles need a clean, some shower tiles have been sealed with clear sealant and some tiles around the door need grouting. Sleeping was ok, the bed is hard and clean. The AC is quiet however the rooms ending in -01 on each floor are beside a “Pipe Duct” room which has an annoying continuous 24/7 noise. The -01 and -02 rooms are also beside the cleaning services lift, so expect noise as they get setup between 7-8 am. All in all it’s ok, just dated, in need of a sprucing. If all else fails head down the street for some Bowrington Villain Hitting.

Nothing close to the review ratings, nothing like the pictures shown. No service, No help. The hotel said it never heard of the request of a vase for flowers! The front desk staff told me to buy a vase myself! That's not a 3.5-star hotel treats its guests! The housekeeping staff helped me by providing a trash can for my flowers, so that the flowers won't die off with no water. The front desk staff said the hotel cannot provide more than one trash per room. Actually, there are 2 trash cans in the room, one for the bed area, another for the bathroom! This Best Western is nothing like the one I stayed in London.

Preço alto para o que ofereceu. Toalhas ridículas, além de não ter toalhas de rosto (as toalhas normais pareciam de rosto e finas). Fui cobrado por ter feito uma ligação toll-free local, e não foi barato. Todos os dias a recepção me ligava para me cobrar.

Cash in safety box being stolen and staff is not helpful. Not even trying to help to call the police. I have to reach out the consulate to deal with this and hotel seems like not trying to do anything regarding to this.

I was a little worried when I read all the negative reviews. One even said this property gives Best Western a bad name. Ummm. I assume you’re not from the US since this is the nicest Best Western I’ve seen. If you want a hotel with large rooms, you can always pay above $300/ night at a 3.5 to 5 star hotels. Just like all big city 3stars and below hotels in Tokyo, NYC, London, Singapore etc, rooms are always small. This property has small rooms but not too small. I haven’t hit my ankle or knee cap on anything in my 7 night stay. They have 4 fast elevators running non stop from the main lobby (3rd floor to the top floor). There’s only 10 rooms per floor. The minute you approach the front desk, the staff are very attentive, friendly, helpful and accommodating. When you walk in your room, the room is very clean and looks amazing for a hotel that’s over 10 yrs old. The body wash and the conditioning shampoo are not bad at all. Sheets are very white and stain free. The air conditioner works really well cooling down the room and runs 24hrs a day. Yes! The mattress is very firm. If you want soft mattress, don’t know if they have an option for that. But the towels are clean and large. Water pressure is strong. I just wish the light above the sink is brighter so I can see better while shaving. The location is perfect for me. It’s located on one side of the bridge where all the local hole in the walls are at and the other side of the bridge is Time Square shopping mall/area.

Renstädat och bra plats nära till kommunikationer. Nära vattnet, strandpromenaden att rekommendera. Galoppbanan ligger ett upplopp ifrån. Och där upplever man en fantastisk onsdagskväll. Nära marknader och spåtanter och modern shopping.

Can be noisy and messy as it extremely close to wet market and local market but location is really close to Causeway Bay which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Very small room but it worked for my needs. If you want space look elsewhere.

The location of the hotel is close to busy Times Square, perfect for shopping and dining. It is also close to transportation. I appreciate the daily house keeping. However, the entry to the hotel is a tiny back door of the building . I wish there is a clear and big sign of the hotel name on the door.

Hotel was conveniently situated for me, but entrance was on a backstreet with room for taxi to stop, and reception on 3rd floor. My room on the 25th floor was adequate but small, ensuite bathroom was fine, and working a/c much appreciated. I only tried the breakfast once - limited choice and terrible coffee. But plenty good pastries in local bakery.
