Parking was safe and lots of choices around

The room wasn’t what I expected as was advertised online. The air conditioner was very loud and there were not enough outlets. The outlets that were available, were oddly placed. The rooms bathroom was up to date and clean, but the room could use some updating. When booking, I was unaware the the pool was oddly located in the parking lot. On a positive note, the staff in the office were very friendly and helpful. The motel was very close to the beach and that was wonderful.

My biggest complaint about the room is the lack of hooks and places to put your towels and toiletries. The sink is a pedestal sink right next to the toilet. No fan in the bathroom so we opened the window and took a chargeable fan. I went to the dollar tree and bought hangers and door hooks for the towels. There were no wash clothes or hand towels (there would be nowhere to put it). AC works good. Take a ROKU with you if you want to watch tv (which works) - we stayed in room #47. We also didn't have a microwave which I asked for one and they brought one to our room. No long mirror. Some pictures have different "upgrades" so dont expect the room to look like the pictures! Could have been cleaner, there were "unknown" dirt spots on the walls behind the bed and bathroom. Shower curtain was gross. Pool was nice. Staff was nice. Two people in a room was tight and it rained a lot during our stay with no balcony to sit on. For the price, it was OKAY

Ended up charging more than supposed to before I even arrived or Checked in. Pool hours not followed. And cleanliness was not meet.

This motel was a bit more old and run down than some of the other cheap motels in OC we have stayed at. It was sort of clean enough. The towels were old and worn out and scuff marks on the walls. Also it was annoying that there was no outdoor shower, which made our room sandier. Staff was friendly and helpful. If the price is right okay to stay here, but not great. We stayed on a weeknight. Parking was included and we were able to park in the lot a few hours before and after check in, which was nice.

Easy check in and parking compared to other places

The location is close to the boardwalk and an easy 1.5 mile walk to the music festival at the pier. Staff was friendly. There was a small pool but we didn't use it, it didn't seem like it was set up with chairs even though there was water. Fridge, no microwave. Tiny shower but workable. The property is old and run down but clean. Parking was plentiful. The only thing that got on our nerves was only 2 towels (we made due, we didn't ask for more. Maybe they would have provided? ) and since you're near the beach, the floor of the room is dirty and sticks to your feet. Bring house shoes/flip Flips. I'm not saying it was dirty when we first checked in but it gets dirty in 30 seconds no matter what you do. Overall, happy with the stay. Would stay here again.

This Cabana Motel in Ocean City is infested with Bed Bugs. They avoid contact so as to skirt accountability. The accommodations lack and again they are INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! Neither them NOR EXPEDIA will help you get a refund for your troubles. Use Air BNB instead.

The man checking us in was wonderful. The good things ended there. Between finding a hair claw/clip on the bed that wasn't mine, what appeared to be black mold on the walls in the bathroom, and the fact that we didn't have toilet paper or even a toilet paper HOLDER on the wall in the bathroom. I am never one to care where I stay when I just need somewhere to sleep, but even I cared this time. Nothing was overtly disgusting, but I still slept on top of the sheets with my beach towel as a blanket. Thankfully it was just one night. After 40 years in OCMD I finally found a place I won't stay again.

Choosing this hotel was a last minute decision and chosen by price. That being said, I was not impressed by Cabana Motel. The sheets were dirty, the floor was cracked and dirty, the ceiling tiles were sagging and had water spots, the outlets were broken, and the smoke detector didn’t even have batteries in it. I stayed for 3 nights and each night I could hear something moving in the ceiling. Once it moved fast enough to shift a ceiling tile. The shower was very sensitive and the slightest adjustment would go from freezing to boiling. Anytime someone flushed the toilet from another room the shower went blazing hot. This stay was an adventure but by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

When first getting to our room, the sink did not drain and then leaked out across the floor. Staff did change our room. In the room we ended up staying in, the floor was covered in dirt, the lamp plug was loose and kept flashing on and off every time we went across the room. When getting in the shower, we found a cockroach crawling on the floor. Staff was pleasant but overall cleanliness was awful.

Great area. Very close to everything. The only downside is me and my partner went home with bed bugs bite. When we first came in, the room was not very cleaned. The floor was sandy and seems like it was not even cleaned or swept at all.

The staff was fine but the room really needed some work. Mold in the bathroom, bugs and spider webs all over the window screen, dirty floor, some lights and the TV didn't turn on, and the walls were warped and stained. Good location but not a pleasant stay.

There are many bedbugs in the room

1. Dirty bathroom, shower, old black sports under shower and and the floor 2. Dirty bedroom floor old black stain 3. air conditioning power cord on the floor easy to get tripped, so that is safety concern, 4. ants crawling everywhere, 5. Nightstands lamp cord on and off not secured to the outlets! Hanging off the outlets behind bed . Another safety hazard 6. Shower pressure very low, cold or hot no other option. 7. No fresh water provided 8. Not enough towels and toilet paper Pictures available Over rated. Yo expensive for provided service. I would not pay $122 per night for that place. I’m very disappointed. Not worth my money and sacrifice. I will never recommend this place to anyone. My rating from 0-10 is 1 and that’s bad. I’m Expedia consumer for many years and I never had that experience before.

There were still items from previous guests in the room, even though it was "cleaned". Sheets and towels had stains, and an extra sheet we requested even had clumps of hair. Air conditioning also had problems. The staff were nice and had good customer service

For the price that I paid. Per night was over $250.00 The hotel room was filthy. A shower room had black mold. Floor was black. We walked across in our bare feet and our feet were black. None of them. The light fixtures work properly. One was even plugged in a wall. TV was poorly mounted. None of the furniture matched. The bed wasn't fastened to the wall so when you sat on it it tipped forward. Very disappointed. But I was only staying there just so I can go to the concert on the boardwalk. That was a place to sleep and shower. But for that price just getting those two things. Isn't worth it. It's more like I should have paid $100 a night for what I got in service in in hotel room quality. I have photos. But it won't let me upload them.

Bed broke when we sat in it, there was black mold everywhere because there was no ventilation. Tv didn’t work, all lamps, air conditioning, tv, microwave and fridge overloaded on ONE outlet! Shower head and handle was tore out of the wall and moved around.

The room was in rough condition. Missing shower/tub lever. It was set for shower so we were okay but looked really bad. Missing door knobs on bathroom vanity. Bathroom faucet handles need replacement, they were the clear plastic ones and you can see the dirt or mold within. No hangers, hooks or towel rack to hang dry anything. Got a good night sleep, but there was no refrigerator or microwave and not enough plug outlets. The bathroom door was too small. You had to go sideways.

There was no hot water. Street noise was very loud. 5-6 younger guys upstairs were up and noisy all night.

Mostly it was what we needed until the AC died and they could neither fix it or provide us another room. So we had to leave early

I liked that this property was close to the boardwalk & beach. For how much the rooms cost I didn't like sleeping on stained linens, also had broken off toilet lid in my double bed room, and didn't see a handle for bathtub water, had to only use shower. and some cable channels would get stuck in scramble mode. My family Did't like the small TVs in the King rooms. Could do better, and with the high price of this property could go down when other properties go down.

There was only enough space to either have the fridge or the microwave plugged in. In order to use one you had to unplug the other. Then, we had to remember to plug the fridge back in to prevent our food from spoiling. The TV had cable that was fairly low quality and didn’t have a lot of channels. Other than all of that, the room was just what we needed. The AC was nice, and the bed was fairly comfortable. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. Any issue I had, they at least attempted to resolve. My key stopped working and the cleaning ladies let me back into my room, and the person at the front desk swiftly reprogrammed the keys to work again.

This was a nice stay overall. The man at the front desk was very nice, super closer to the beach if you don’t wanna be right on the boardwalk, the room is small so was the bathroom, the room wasn’t the cleanliness but you can’t expect a resort from a motel close to the beach, there’s also a great and fast restaurant behind the motel from the Sahara motel and the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors. But overall we enjoyed our stay and we would be back again

My stay here was wonderful. Great location, free parking, close to the beach, and fresh hot coffee all day in the lobby. But the best part of it was our gracious host, Anil, he was amazing! He really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our entire vacation. Very polite and accommodating to our every need, and did it with a smile at all times. I will definitely come back here just because of him and his positive attitude! He truly understands what it means to be in the hospitality industry and make his guests feel welcome, happy and comfortable. Thanks Anil for all you did to make our stay a pleasant one.

Travelocity charges $177 for 2 night. When I got to the motel the charged my over $208. They still have not fixed it. I also forgot a pair of Nike sandals in the room when I left. I called a few hours after I left and was told to call back the next morning. When I called back. I was told nothing was found in The room. So, they stole my sandals.

Customer service was excellent. We had a great stay there. We will be back in July to stay there again.

Myself and my fiancé were very shocked at how they checked you in. First off, we called cabana hotel before booking, as we do for all hotels to see if rooms were available and if we could check in earlier than 3 pm and she said yes if they’re available. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist there was nice and checked with management to see about us checking in earlier but they said no check in is at 3pm. We come back at 3:30 pm and no one greets us, there are 4 other people waiting to be checked in because someone wanted to be moved into another room. Okay, I understand being short staffed but at least greet the people coming in and check them in if the people in front of you are wanting adjustments. That’s customer service. We waited 50 minutes and then got checked in and the cleaning lady was still mopping our floors. We were fortunate that the location was great and room was clean but the service was terrible.

The dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. To start our door had been kicked in previously. When brought up to the hotel worker his only reply was it closes. 30 minutes later that same employee used his master key to try to walk in to the room while I was changing. Next thing we noticed is the awful smell of mold which was only overpowered by the smell of cigarettes. After that we noticed certain ceiling tiles were sinking in on itself. The last straw was finding a ton of sand inside the folded sheets. Next, the paper thin walls allowed my girlfriend and I to hear everything in the rooms next to us and above us so don’t expect any privacy at all. When we went to the front desk and asked for someone to clean the room or for a new room the employee got an attitude and checked us out that night leaving us stranded late at night without a place to stay. This is an absolutely horrific place to stay matched only by its lack of support from staff. If you value the health and safety of you and your loved ones stay as far away from this place as possible. Update: The next day I found bed bug bites all over myself so I will be talking to code enforcement.

The entire staff was very friendly but a o e all the manager went above ans beyond aith his hospitality and kindness! Would stay again !!!

Basic motel (no food), 2 blocks off the boardwalk. It’s been around a while and it shows but it’s very clean; ac, microwave, and fridge all worked fine, lots of hot water and towels. didn’t need the wifi so can’t say about that, basic antenna tv. Great staff, smoke alarm went south, had a new one in under five minutes For the price, in-season, definitely worth it.

Great staff, close to beach

I liked that the room had a nice clean looking floor instead of the dingy carpet most places seem to have, however the bathroom looked a little neglected. It was clean enough but looks like it could use some additional upkeep besides a cleaning. Otherwise and overall, the Cabana was a great place to stay for the weekend, not far from the boardwalk at all.

we would like a coffee maker

I read reviews the day before going and I was so scared what I was going to walk into it. Front desk guy super awesome! My two boys 18 and 9 loved him. Went to the room and me and my 18 yr old immediately checked the beds. Nothing wrong I’m weird and I take my own blankets anyways. They wash their comforters by the way. Not like most hotels. I saw them taking them out of the rooms to the laundry. Could it use updating? Yes. But that’s different from gross. It wasn’t gross. It was small. No chairs. So take beach chairs or something. That didn’t stop us from having a good time though. The walk to the beach/boardwalk was like two minutes. So quick. That’s what I like. I have necrosis in my hip. So some days is okay and some days is bad. I didn’t want to have to walk far. The best diner is directly behind it! Sahara cafe. Walls are thin. The one set of neighbors kept my kids awake. I slept through it. That’s just the chance you take though staying places. Pool was perfect for my little one to jump in. We don’t need a huge pool. Not many people go in it anyways. People were really friendly. It’s a nice to place to go. If you’re bougie then go find somewhere else. I need budgets. And it was perfect for that.

It was cheaper 1200 4 days, 2double beds, fridge, air cnditioner.. no coffee maker, outlets a lil loose, tv not a great connection , picture went out alot but just 5, 6 seconds each time, enough to miss parts..but watchable. Owner nice, bed clean, floor a lil sandy. It w we fine for 2 day concert..oh no alarm clock

Was charged a deposit that was unaware of when we came to check in. The rooms were nothing like the website said. Ordered a room with a queen bed, microwave and mini fridge and got a room with a standard size bed and no microwave. The mattresses were dirty like someone wiped food on them. The lighting in the rooms are horrible. The shower floor was disgusting. Had to wear my flip flops in the shower because it was nasty. We were on bottom floor and the people upstairs from us sounded like they were doing construction in their room and like there was a bowling alley up there from all the noise. Room didnt even come with a simple coffee machine. The a.c. kept going on and off...thank goodness it wasnt a hot weekend. My relaxing weekend get away for my husband and I was awful. I would never stay there again.
