Hotel Moncton

Nice hotel. The outdoor pool is a little cold but great size. I would stay there again.

My favorite place to stay in Moncton. The kids love the outdoor pool and the close proximity to the boardwalk. Very friendly staff.

Room was a nice size with 2 queen sized beds. Nice to be able to park in front of the room and enter the room from the outside. We unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the breakfast as we hot the road at 5 a.m.

Free parking and close to shopping markets.

This is an older hotel which has been renovated. The rooms and grounds are quite well maintained. There is no elevator so carrying our bags to the second floor was challenging for us. Our room was at the front with an outside balcony entrance off a busy street. The door needed weatherstripping so I found it quite noisy while trying to sleep. I would stay here again if in the area but would ask for a ground floor room at the back or an interior room. The towels were too small and thin.

I like having a door in my room that went straight outside!

Friendly and efficient reception. No elevators so a bit awkward with luggage. Shampoo and body wash containers were empty. Clean and comfortable room. Decent free breakfast and free parking were appreciated. Perfect for one night.

Clean room. Should have indicated that there is no lift to 2nd level rooms so that elderly customers can choose 1st level room instead.

Very clean rooms

Unfortunately there were 3 grown ladies sharing a room and the bathroom door wouldn’t close, also one of the guests woke up and found rodent feces I’m her bed (she was quite shook up). The breakfast was good, no complaints

The front desk were great. The room was not well cleaned or serviced. Went for a shower only to discover that the wall mounted toiletries were all empty. Dripping wet I had to exit the shower and get my toiletries out of my suitcase. When I finished the shower I had to use wet towels that I had used when I exited the shower earlier. Pillows a bit lumpy. Breakfast, no tea bags Because of all this, I gave it a 2-Star rating.

Room floors and baseboards dirty, deep cleaning is required. I had to ask for toilet paper, soap, towels and paper cups. Shower soap and conditioner were empty. Air conditioning unit extremely loud and not properly functioning. One chair available for multi person suit. On the positive side the bed was comfortable and clean.

The staff upon arrival was so helpful. The room was spotless. We absolutely love the breakfast and super-kind staff.

Breakfast was decent. Could hear the guest snoring in the room adjacent to mine though. Can hear a variety of sounds through the walls. Decently clean. No soap in their shower dispensers and some towels smelled like wet laundry/mildew which isn't fun to dry off with. Wouldn't stay again unless I was in a pinch like I was the night I stayed.

Service was great room was clean enough but could really use a deep clean some splatters on walls and some chiped paint. We could also hear every little noise above us I don't believe it was the other guests just the lack of insulation between floors and cheap Hardwood. I was impressed with breakfast!

There were mice in our room, breakfast was cold and had a very limited selection, and staff were unfriendly and cold. Would not come back

Rooms way too warm and no way to cool down, ac unit blocked off and fan not even close to good enough to cool down

Room was too hot. It's the end of November anx we had to have air conditioner on full blast and window open. We tried changing the temperature which was 78 degrees but couldnt. No water for keurig and when asked, staff said to use tap water. No glasses just 2 disposable cups in room. Half a roll of toilet paper, had to ask for more; got one extra roll. Just rogers cable on tv. Nothing but old shows on tv. We won't be staying there again and won't recommend it to friends or family. Front desk staff not very friendly.

Rooms where not sounds proof at all. The heat was stuck on and it was very hot

The hotel was in a good location and price was good. It was very noisy (hearing people beside and above us all night and day)

Pros: Room and bathroom were clean. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast was well laid out, plentiful, and delicious. Cons: Room was musty smelling. The floors were carpeted, but uneven underneath in many spots, and the whole room felt tilted. The noises from the room above us could clearly be heard all night. I've never stayed in a motel room before where you could hear the footsteps of the person walking in the room above - until last night! I don't think I'd stay here again. Major structural renovations would be needed to fix the tilt felt throughout the building.

I was surprised that there was only an air conditioner controlled by the thermostat in the room - there was a space heater to provide warmth, which it did, but soon made that small space too hot. An old room, but was very clean and had some things that were exceptional: very nice, modern bathroom and very comfortable beds.

Was excellent the only thing because its older the noise beetween room was travelling easily but everything else was super their breakfast is worth it very clean room and very nice staff and really good Price and in a quiet location love it will go again

Basic but modern room with updated amenities. Although the property name says Hotel, it is more of a motel. The bathroom has been remodeled but it is certainly on a small size. Our room rate came with a complimentary buffet breakfast which was amazing. Several cold & hot options.

Overall was okay but upstairs walkway was not level and bathroom area laid out wrong,sink was not with shower toilet area so to wash at sink it was all open.I had daughter with me so to dress had to go into closet sized shower room.price was reasonable.

Check in took an extremely long time almost 45 minutes of waiting, there was no soap or body wash in our room. It is a very old motel but seemed clean. Staff was very friendly. Overall not a bad stay but it seemed pricey for the quality you get in return.

Great service

Originally had a booking & had to cancel unexpectedly due to an emergency. We're moving between provinces, so this was a 1 night stay. The person I dealt with was wonderful & the hotel manager allowed us to cancel without penalty. Our horrible experience was when we rebooked for a night & had our daughter go ahead to check us in & set our 2 cats up, we were still dealing with things & loading a moving truck. She said this is what she was doing. I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 am after a very long drive from NS, my husband at 2:30 am, both of us exhausted! I woke up around 7 am & called the desk to ask for a late check out due to the circumstances. He said that he would check with the manager, but if it was allowed, it would be $29.95 plus tax. We agreed that if it was ok, he wouldn't call back, to allow us to sleep. I was to go to the desk before 11 to pay the fee. I went to the desk at about 10:45 to be told that because my daughters was no longer there, they could not allow the late check out. For the record, we were requesting a check out of 1pm (regular is 11am), due to having to wait for a family member to come 2 hrs for our cats, we had forgotten we wouldn't have room to put them & all of their stuff as the car was full. I asked him to check with his manager & to please say it is the same people that had to cancel due to a family emergency. He said that was policy. I'm sorry but exceptions can be made! Horrible & insensitive customer service! The hotel was not busy!

The staff were all very friendly. They gave us an upgraded room and an early check-in. It was located close to Crandall University where we were attending a boxing event. The breakfast that was included was delicious and lots of choices. And it was also in close proximity to fast food places, gas stations and a liquor store. Thank you for the excellent service. We will stay here again if in Moncton.

I booked this room for my daughter and her friend. They had no issues checking. Upon check out the concierge was extremely rude and gave them a hard time stating they should not have been allowed to stay there by themselves since they were only 18. I had called a week before asking if their age was an issue and at the time it was perfectly fine.

Room was noisy Staff not helpful and one man was incredibly rude We asked for our money back and left

It was a good hotel for the price. Breakfast was good. Location was good. Room was clean. Check in was very slow. It was pretty busy and only one person working desk. It took about 45 minutes to check in.

1.Check in was half an hour! One staff member with 8 standing and waiting in the lobby. Apparently check in is not so easy as some had to make several visits to the desk and staff was unable to prioritize. 2.It's not clearly stated some rooms are not ground floor and there is no elevator. 3. It's reasonably priced but a little dated, and not soundproof. Easily accessible to everything in the area though! 4. The rooms are clean and plenty of parking. Nice TV but two remotes, so took a minute to figure how to watch it. New bathtub was huge and deep if you like to soak with great water pressure! 5. Breakfast was great and the kitchen staff were very polite and pleasant.

Right close to a bunch of amusement park activities, if you’re traveling with kids that would save a lot of time

Easy to get to and to get back onto the highway. The staff are very friendly. It was very quiet being that it was not a weekend.

Lovely renovated motel near Magnetic Hill. A little far from downtown core but interesting area regardless. Surprisingly quiet. Room had great amenities - comfy beds, mini-fridge, microwave, soaker tub. Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again!

This was a very convenient location! Near the zoo, magnetic hill, and the casino. There were fast food places close by and lots of dinner places a short drive away. Easy access to the highway. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only draw back was no elevator as I am awaiting knee replacement surgery!

Great all around. The breakfast is also incredible there are lots of options. It not you typical hotel breakfast. The room was freshly renovated and really nice we stayed in 233

The breakfast buffet was mostly cold and exactly the same each morning. Cold eggs and cold beans are not appetizing

Excellent spot considering the lower than average price. It's not super fancy but it's very clean and staff were nice. Free breakfast FAR exceeded my expectations! Very yummy with good selection.

I'm not a review guy but this place is great value for the money. Always clean, breakfast is fantastic, and last night they gave us an upgrade because they had room. Thank you Hotel Moncton.

Hotel was great, very clean, was comfortable. Staff were very friendly, breakfast included was ok, but cold.

A good stay overall. However it would be beneficial for the guests to have an option to hang the clothes and an ironing board and Iron box. The breakfast would have been better had there been options like waffles or pan cake and more fruit options.
