They had a great breakfast the only inconvenience was the ice machine was broke on the 2 nd floor so you had to keep going to other floors to get ice..

The check in was nice and friendly. When we get to the room, immediately saw the window wide open, dirty carpet, duvet had tears and stains, the desk chair broke, room chair stained and nasty, lamp shade bent and cracked, no hair dryer, no TV remote and the bathroom needed attention. I let front desk know immediately. Her answer was an apology and that she would make a note of everything, get us a remote, and let the morning shift person know that I needed access to a room in the morning for a hairdryer. I asked to move rooms and she said that she did not have any available. We checked in at 9pm with 4 cars in the parking lot. We should have left but we were tired, being at the hospital all day. We then go to the pool. The hot tub water looked dirty, yellow, and was not hot---colder than the warm pool water. There was trash by the tables and the pool bathroom was nasty. Heading back to the room, we ask for 6 towels-- only provided 2 upon check in. We waited 45 minutes before I called to check on towels. It's almost midnight. We had our PJs on and front desk guy asks that I go get the towels. I was given 4--towels that looked old and thin. I again ask to change rooms ---the TV didn't work after 3 remotes were provided. Again, the response--it would be noted. I have never had a bad experience with previous Sleep Inns. This place was an awful experience.

Everything was out of order. The laundry room, the hot tub, the outside doors didn't open with room key. The fish was dying in a dirty aquarium.

It was a nuce stay, but it didn't have many trash cans. And we were sad that the pool was closed for cleaning. We liked that it was close to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Lubbock Temple.

The pool was shut down by the city. The room was disgusting.

I got new towels every day, but some were very thin & needed to be replaced. The gym was great, the pool was ice cold and cloudy green. I was afraid to use it. I did not have a single linen change in the eight nights I stayed. My room keys stopped working after a few days and was never told that would happen or I would need reprogramming at any point. The staff was very nonchalant when I told them I had my arms full and suddenly my keys didn’t work. I would have probably been more disappointed overall, but the price was right. I would not pay more than what I did per night if I ever returned.

Hotel has gone down from the first time we ever stayed here. Front desk lady was very sweet. Our tv didnt work asked for help,she came and looked at it but then nothing else was done to fix the issue. Told me maintance would come look but never heard anything. Pool didnt look to be working, which was another reason we stay there.

Poorly maintained property. Should not be a part of choice hotels. The only positive is the beds are comfortable. Tubs and sinks don’t drain. Toilet was broken, refrigerator was not working, light bulbs burned out. Blow dryer didn’t work. Pool and hot tub were very dirty. We reported all but nothing ever repaired. At front desk everyone waiting had complaints. No manager on duty to address any problems. We were told nothing could be done until Monday.

The pool water was scummy and green. The hot tub could not be used as it overflowed with bubbles. The floor in the pool room was disgusting with food on the floor. No towels. I have an infection of my lower extremities that may be from the water in pool or hot tub.

It sucked because the pool was always closed. I specifically wanted a hotel with a pool. 😡

Terrible customer service. Nothing to drink for breakfast. Juice machine down. Rooms were nasty, stains in the walls. Bathtub had rust all in it. Pool was shut down the entire weekend. Went to go request for towels wasn’t able to get any due to the fact they had none. We had one towel in the hotel room when we arrived.

Someone else’s hair on the shower wall. A drawer that wouldn’t close. Chipped paint on the walls. Faucet was wiggling off. Hallway dirty.

My nightstand was not clean, tv did not work, mold in shower, carpert was filthy.

In the room they gave me there were bedbugs on the beds.

It was very disappointing. The rooms were nasty. There were roaches in the bathroom. The carpet was old and stained. We were only given two towels, one washcloth and one hand towel. We were a party of three.

We actually ended up not staying at this hotel it was in such poor shape. We took about half a dozen pictures of Filth and at this point I have yet to receive a refund and we had to find another hotel to stay in last minute on graduation weekend

Facility is lacking proper maintenance. Someone used electrical tape to fix a leaky shower head. Our bed comforter was shredded and stained. The towels were so thin you could see through them.

My room was not cleaned before checking in . The sheets had blood on them along with brown and yellow bodily fluids on them . I called the front desk as soon as I noticed it the fallowing morning . I was told they would change the sheets but they normally only wash sheets every 2 days is what i was told . My sheets never got changed . I addressed the issues and nothing was done about it . I’ve asked for a refund and they refused to do so . My son and I didn’t not dirty up the room at all .

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the customer service was excellent. The front desk employees are very nice and accommodating. However the cleanliness and condition are disgusting. This isn’t even a hotel in my opinion, more so of a motel. The carpet in the hallways is so old and torn up, stains everywhere and the carpet is down to strings (literally) every piece of furniture is so old it’s scrapped up and damaged and needs to be in the dumpster. The fish tank at the entrance is covered in green algae and dirty water, I don’t even know how that fish is alive in that water. Very disappointed how this place has gone down hill in the past 3 years. What once used to be a very clean nice hotel has turned to trash. Not sure if the old owners sold it, but in comparison to other Sleep Inn & Suites I’ve stayed at, this one needs to be shut down.

Centrally located and close to dining options. The room was not ready, the TV stand was pulled across the room and also there was no power to the table light towards the bathroom.

Bathroom didn’t work AC didn’t work changed rooms AC still didn’t work checked out asap and they refused to refund my money.

Mostly everything was fine, besides being able to watch tv at all.

Ok stay. Pull out couch very uncomfortable. Had to ask for bedding and more than the 2 towels in the room. Shower wouldn’t hardly drain. Kind of run down

We had a rough stay. The AC broke, and the hotel said that they didn’t have an open room for us to move to.

Stay was good. Would have been great if I wasn’t able to hear the foot steps of the person above us, and if I couldn’t hear the people next to us.

Overall was a very good place to stay, and I quite enjoyed my stay. However the hotel had fairly torn and dirty looking carpets and some damage to the walls and door exteriors to the rooms. The rooms had furniture that looked scratched/scuffed pretty hard. Overall for the price it was pretty good and comfortable to stay, though I would say some aesthetic improvements could be helpful.

The overall condition of the hotel is terribly ran down! Very disappointed in the conditions. The traffic noise is terrible.

TV didn't work in the first room. Kept talking with the front desk lady for over 2 hrs but there was a bit of a language barrier. Finally she came to check it out. We moved across the hall when she couldn't fix it. There was splatter of who knows what on the wall, including a booger. Bedspread was falling apart...looked like the dryer ate it. Furniture in both the rooms was well worn. Outlet didn't work for the microwave. Burned out light by the bed. The air-conditioning and ice maker were broke on the 2 floor. The hot breakfast items were cold. On the 2nd morning, the "hot" breakfast items were all gone by 8:30am. I can say that the linens were clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower water was hot. It met basic needs but nothing to write home about. We stayed there for the convenience to our Lubbock activity but will not stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn’t like that the wifi kept going out and had to constantly reconnect

This hotel was super dirty and the morning front desk black girl was very rude and hateful. We had asked for a late check out and was told yes by two different staff and she came running us out after my 5 yr old had been sick all night and this hotel is very dirty and nasty trash in drawers and sheets were not changed out. I have worked in a hotel in housekeeping and if this is how you do your job I can imagine what there house looks like the entire hotel needs to be painted to walls wiped down as well as carpets shampooed.

Breakfast was great! Room was okay for a one night stay. Hallways can use some major work. The night staff when I checked in were great! However, I could not say the same for the lady for the morning shift. She was very rude. For some reason my key would not open my door after having breakfast. I go to the service desk where she had a small sign saying “be back in 5 min” so I waited and waited even past the 5 min so rang the little service bell and she came out from one of the back rooms and asked me rudely what I needed. I told her what I needed she frustratedly fixed the issue and aggressively removed the bell and went back to the back room. Furthermore, when I checked out I asked if I could please get a receipt she stated she couldn’t give me one. I think I would have rated this place better if it weren’t for her.

Very concerning situation. Front desk gave someone access to our room which resulted in a random guy trying to gain access to our room. While we were sleeping ultimately resulting him to make entry due to the desk giving him a programming key. Once he made entry into the room he then tried to force his way into the bath where my wife was getting ready and then turning into a small altercation. Very disappointed in this situation and nothing was addressed or done about it. All I received was a careless sorry and unfortunately the safety concern for us was unacceptable this was invasion of our privacy. Due to lack of them doing their job carelessly. Definitely need to be re trained on privacy or be more attentive.

I first want to say the staff were very friendly and accommodating in a difficult situation that the hotel had with the water issues. However, it seemed to me that there should have been some type of financial credit/consideration given to those who in the middle of their evening found themselves having to come to the hotel, pack up and literally move to the other side of town. We had chose that location because of the proximity to where we were moving our daughter to in Lubbock from Abilene. The move across town was inconvenient and it seems that just to have the hotel make other arrangements certainly wasn't enough for the inconvenience in time and location. Also, toilet seat had urine on it upon check in to room

Couldn’t shower because they had maintenance issues and the lady was rude

Check in was less than friendly. We also left an expensive piece of technology, which we we accept the responsibility of forgetting, but it was not not turned in by the house keeping staff when we called just a few hours later.

My stay was very pleasant. I was able to get some rest as well as get some work done. The area or location I should say is a very good safe area.

Perfectly okay for what you pay. Convenient location, basic amenities, friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. We were on the first floor near the front desk.

Great location for our purposes. Felt like a safe neighborhood in middle of busy shopping area. I wasn't worried about safety. Hotel was clean & comfortable.

The convenience of where its located is a plus for us. There were some things i was not happy with, but for the most part. Good experiences.

The property was close to a relative we were visiting and being right off the freeway it was easy to find.

Very nice hotel and very close to Lubbock Christian University.

Check in was easy and great customer service. Overall the place is pretty clean, but could use some updates. It was convenient to South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital where we needed to be for a family member.

The young woman who checked me in seemed tense and distracted. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed, but the common areas, especially around the elevators, were very beat up and worn. The breakfast was very typical of what I’ve come to expect for “free”.

The property was clean and the staff was nice. My room was spacious and clean and had a microwave and mini fridge. I also liked that they offered a breakfast with hot and cold options.

HORRIBLE. Pool was broken, extremely rude staff, disgusting room and property, dirty continental breakfast with no beverages available.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is extremely friendly. The facility is clean. Everything is up to par. It smells good. It looks good. Everything is just fantastic.

Overall not bad. Room still had some trash in it behind the chair and behind the night stand. Shower handle hard to operate. No cold water in sink. Breakfast was good and pool was clean. Staff was not the friendliest when trying to check in 10 minutes early.

Staff friendly and efficient check in and out quick and easy breakfast was better than the usual unfortunately, our toilet was difficult to flush, there were insufficient towels and no stopper for the tub all annoying, but not worth losing sleep over for a one night stay we have stayed here before, and will again

As always it's very quiet peaceful the parking is great the food is fantastic the staff is above average way above
