I am a frequent guest at this property, as I visit the Keys a few times each year. I give this property my highest recommendation! Not only is it well-maintained, but also the staff are amazing, make the check-in/out process so easy, and are available if you need anything. It's a fun and affordable way to experience the Marathon. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Quaint little room with an exterior shower that we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely come back again, for the 3rd time.

Slice of hell. This place could have been amazing, but the lack of staff, safety, and basic maintenance made it genuinely dangerous. Check‑in started badly: I was told to photograph my credit card and upload it to an online form, which already felt unsafe. We arrived after staff hours, followed the instructions, and found a room that looked fine at first—until you stepped inside. The floor had cracks, a broken board that dipped underfoot, and sharp edges sticking up. You had to keep shoes on at all times or risk cutting your feet, and it was positioned so you couldn’t reach the outdoor bathroom without crossing it. The outdoor shower flooded within seconds, leaving water pooled around the toilet for hours. Again, shoes required. I contacted the hotel repeatedly—no answer. Even Hotels.com/Expedia couldn’t reach them on their “emergency” numbers. The next morning, still no staff. When someone finally picked up, they dismissed the flooding entirely and sent maintenance, who smeared filler on the broken board and left the sharp pieces sticking out. Communication was awful. Calls were ignored, one person literally said “Goodbye” and hung up. Hotels.com said the hotel offered a paid upgrade, but when I returned during staff hours, no one was there and no upgrade existed. Later the hotel changed their mind again, despite the room sitting empty. Towels were stuffed behind a hot AC unit to hold it in place—on a wooden building. Completely unsafe. This place could be great.

Loved how the bar is right there outside the rooms. Can’t say anything bad besides it’s hard to see the sign when looking for the address!
