Nice staff, great location, and pet friendly. Very outdated and lightly dilapidated rooms.

I took pictures- when the door is shut you can see the light from the outside. The shower was horrible. The caulking was dirty and when you ran the water in the sink it would fill up with water and not drain. There were no curtain and a dollar store blind was at the window with no way to shut the blind other than to use your hand to pull the blind down. I refused to bring my clothes in the room. The floor was dirty. The air condition work well but was loud and you couldn’t hear the tv. The ac was in the wall like a window unit. The tv worked but the volume didn’t work right. You were only allowed one car per room. Didn’t see this posted before I made the reservation.

Location was convenient and close to boardwalk. Room was what you expect for a last minute decision and price. Only thing that was difficult was parking, spaces arent made for large trucks. Other issue was the guy checking people in is rude and has no personality, should find new job not in customer service

This was a quick get away to the beach. Convenient, dog friendly and very affordable. It was perfect.

The room was small but clean. Convenient location to the beach and boardwalk. Parking was not ideal for a minivan. Spaces were tight and hard to get into. Overall would stay here again for the price & location.

While property was pet friendly, what they don't tell you up front is that there is a $60 fee for the pet. Room was musty. There was a dead moth in the soap dish in the shower. The shower drain didn't work and almost flooded, although they did come fairly quickly to fix it. You get what you pay for.

Had to switch rooms twice. First the fridge was leakingleaving a giant puddle on the floor, and second they put us into a single room for 3 people. First front desk person also told us to park our extra car in the lot behind them, but second front desk person literally told us if we got towed it's our problem.

The motel was great except the office being closed and having to walk down the street to check in at a different motel. The pool is tiny considering the fact it’s for two motels. But overall a good stay.

This was one of the worst properties I ever stayed out, totally not worth $200 a night ! Prices were hugely inflated because of the music festival happening Sept 27-29 . There was no breakfast included ( other hotels offered it) , the WiFi was spotty, the TV had a permanent vertical line on the screen. No toiletries. Old sheets with holes in them ( luckily I brought my own) . The fridge was not cooling though it “worked” ( the light was on, but my dog food got spoiled in 2 days spent there ). That was the only reason I stayed there, as it was one of the few pet-friendly hotels . Pet fee $60. The only positive was that there was free parking. I have pictures attesting the “beauty” of this place . There is potential, as it is located one block from the boardwalk….if only the owners would care .

False advertising at its finest. This room was awful. They didn’t clean the room at all while we were there. I had to ask for a broom to borrow and ask for extra towels that they said they only provided two and two wash rags. The room was not very clean when we arrived. The manager at the office when we arrived was rude and could barely speak any English. I will never stay here again.

Terrible experience, dirty bed sheet, very noisy atmosphere, broken furniture, unsafe open outlets, AC noise, dirty floors, no TV remote, parking lots dirty and congested space, unsafe room door. Terrible experience.

Then to top it off, the manager came and verbally aggressively insulted a special needs guest and his parent it was completely disgusting. Her actions as was the whole stay.

This property was disgusting. The first room we were assigned didn’t have a toilet seat and smelled like bleach. I went to the office to get another room. The second room I was assigned the sheets were stained and had something gooey on it and the fridge smelled of rotten seafood. I went back to the office and the third room I was asked to look at was also disgusting, with evidence of bed bugs, the electrical outlet had no cover and there was a fly trap hanging from the ceiling covered in flies. At that point, I asked for a refund, which they refused. I ended up leaving and getting a room at another property. I don’t know how this property is still operational.

There was black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and behind the air conditioner that I have pictures of. The outlets on the walls where broken and exposed rusty wires. Absolutely filthy! Myself and young daughter have done nothing but cough and feel ill since we left there. We slept in my car in the parking lot the second night. They would not give a refund or anything when we talked to them about the conditions the first day there. The first night we slept next to the open window with our own blankets and kept our belongings in the vehicle because of the bugs also. Never again. This place is dangerous for your health and definitely not up to code.

My mom and I stayed here last year and we didn’t think to leave a review, but after staying here again this year, I wanted to make sure that I did. We LOVE this place. We have never had a single issue while staying here. The reviews had us nervous last year, but we’re so glad we didn’t listen to them. People need to realize that this is a budget motel. It’s for people who don’t care about frills and luxury. It’s a clean place to rest your head at night for a decent price. That’s exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got! Yes, it is dated. But the air conditioner works, the tv works, the mini fridge works, and it’s clean! There was some sand on the floors that we could feel, but it’s the beach. Was it completely spotless? No. But again, it was clean and a good price. Not to mention it’s right by the beach and down near all the main attractions and food spots. We will definitely be staying here again.

Room was in horrible shape, had holes in the walls that were poorly repaired, a huge hole in the bathroom door, the toilet had a huge crack in it and there was mold growing in the corners of the room. The air conditioner was filthy and there was curious odor to the room.

She gave us an outrageous price for two more days (more than double what we had already paid for 3 nights/4 days), but we decided to just go ahead and book it. Fast forward two more days and we realized that the tag in our window (for parking) still had the original date on it. Went back and spoke to the woman at the front desk and she said she wasn’t sure what happened but to talk to the manager in the morning about it. We returned in the morning to again no manager and this young man gave us a new price of $250 more for the same two nights that we were supposed to be given and was told by him that he could not honor that price but to again come back in the morning and speak to the manager. When we went back in the morning for the 3rd time, the office was locked and we decided to start looking other places, to which we found a beautiful ocean front room on the boardwalk that was double the size, for hundreds of dollars less. The rooms are VERY small, with a VERY small bathroom and not very clean. Door could easily be broken in to and paper thin walls.

The room is tiny, like a closet without any amnities. The door lock can be easily opened without a key. No dead bolt.

The room is bright as day all night. Flimsy blinds let all the light in (no curtains), and there are bright lights outside the room. WiFi is so slow that I couldn’t even get a web page to load, much less watch a movie on Netflix.

Room stunk, the window A/C unit was extremely loud. TV had only Roku and no channels worked. The door lock was easily Pickable and there was no deadbolt. A light outside shined into the window all night long.

It was a great location near the inlet and board walk and I never had an issue with parking back and forth between the convention center. The room wasn’t terrible. Hard wood floors and a clean bathroom. Some stains on towels and sheets and constant sand feeling under your feet. No curtains, bright outside the blinds and could hear people fighting all night.

There was pet damage throughout, mismatched furniture with peeling veneers, and the AC unit was filthy and held up with shims. The window had broken blinds, so people could see right into your room!

I try to leave reviews that focus on the positives and will be helpful to future guests - that said, I was STUNNED by the mis-treatment of the management team at this hotel. I booked my room, got a confirmation email, then followed up by calling the hotel to double-check that someone would be available for my late arrival (traveling from out-of-state for a last-minute 24th anniversary weekend with my wife). We arrived at about 12:30am - no rooms available. I showed them a copy of my confirmation email - complete with itinerary#. The initial strategy of the clerk (and his general manager) was to lie about my 'credit card being declined' - which we quickly proved to be categorically UNTRUE based on bank records. Strategy #2 was to claim that the website we booked through never notified the hotel of the reservation. Again, this was quickly exposed by calling the booking site, and the truth came out that the hotel booked our room to someone else, without removing their available inventory from the online platform. Strategy #3 was to call the police (while I was on the phone to the booking site) to have us REMOVED! I was speechless. (BTW, the police were GREAT!) Fortunately, hotels.com was AMAZING - they booked us a room at a different hotel that ended up being a nice upgrade, AND they covered the difference in cost. I would use Hotels.com again for sure. I would never again go near this hotel or any affiliated hotels....(they own/manage the hotel next door as well).

Housekeeping was a bag hung on door with towels and a roll of toilet paper. And there was a fee of $6 per nite for this added to the cost of the room. Dresser drawers were very hard to open/close. Bathroom was extremely small. No medicine chest in bathroom, just 1 very large mirror.

No daily room service. Bed was not made or changed once in an 8 day stay. Fresh towels simply hung in a bag on the door knob outside. Would not recommend or stay here again

We got lucky with our room. It was generally awful though. The rooms are tiny. Ours was clean, but many of the other guests we encountered had horrible experiences. Bedbugs, filthy beds, black mold. People blasting music and partying in the cramped parking lot at 1:30 in the morning. Don't lock yourself out of your room they'll charge you 25$ just to get back into your room. They have actually keyes not electronic locks. There is no deadbolt or any other type security lock. Just a cheap door knob from Walmart. The bathroom is just big enough to turn around in. The shower curtain is too short so water gets all over the floor. The owners take zero responsibility for anything. If you think you can get a refund you're sadly mistaken. The pictures make the place look better than it is.

enjoyed our stay here room was clean not to a top five hotel standard but clean enough room was spacious enough for two of us staying for senior week. The hotel was right on the beach so it accommodated to all of our beach needs. We got the one bed single it came with a TV mini fridge, one dresser, one side table and a bathroom. This is a okay hotel if you’re looking to stay in OC for an inexpensive cheap option.

We read the negative reviews but were happy with the room. It was small ,clean and everything you would expect for the money. The big value was how close it was to the beach. I’m sure other hotels charged hundreds to be that close.

You get what you pay for. I'm not saying never stay here, just know what this is: Very small, bare, basic rooms. A bed, dresser, frig, TV w/limited channels. No microwave, chair, coffee makers, ice machine, or daily room cleaning. Weak WiFi. A few drink vending machines outside. But there's a 7-11 a few blocks away, and a few blocks from boardwalk. Checkin folks were nice. If you're just sleeping there, spending most time outside, possibly ok.
