Travel Inn & Suites Flemington

This hotel is my favorite in the area. I had a wonderful stay and enjoyed myself. The room was very clean and the parking is always great!

Very easy check in. The woman was so nice and sweet which automatically just makes my stay start off the right way. There are cameras around the outside of the property which made me feel extra safe. Rooms were very clean as well. Would come baxk

This place was great for the price. It had all of the amenities we wanted (we had a king suite). It is really a motel, with several buildings, and we could park outside our room. The room had plenty of lighting, a nice desk chair and easy chair and couch. The bedding could have been better, but it was adequate. The air conditioning was good, but noisy. The real downside was the noise from the traffic. But when the air conditioner was on , you couldn't hear it. It is not luxurious, but it had everything we needed and it was clean. I would recommend it.

Very clean place, well kept. Couldnt find Icemaker. Beds killed my back, still recovering. No elevator. Well kept and maintained place though. I might have returned and requested different type bed, but they boosted the price, went somewhere else.

The hotel is located right off of 202. Though the exterior is unappealing the room is very clean and bright. Parking was right outside of my door. It was quiet and I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Staff was extremely helpful. Asked multiple times if we needed something or help in any way.Room was clean, up to date, and well maintained. We were happy with our room and would return. Continental breakfast included self-serve scrambled eggs, sausage links, toasted bread/bagels, waffle/pancake station, cold & hot cereals, coffee, multiple juice choices. Do note room entry is from a door off the parking lot and not from an indoor. Only con: the cleaning products used to clean the room left a noticeable fragrance. This was a minor thing but worth noting for people who may be sensitive to the fragrances. Recommend this motel.

Room was modern, clean, no unpleasaant odors, reasonably priced. Pleasant, helpful front desk. At-room parking. Hair dryer provided.

We walked in and the first thing we noticed were the huge stains on the bed. Then we pulled the blanket off to just sleep on the sheets but they were stained, dirty, and had a bunch of cigarette burns on them. So I walked over to the closet to find the extra clean sheets usually found at hotel rooms and those had even more burnholes and stains. The pullout couch also had a huge stain on it. The air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and when we tried it turned into a fan that blew out warm air that smelled like vomit. The bed was really bouncy and uncomfortable. The only positive thing I will say is the bathroom was clean.

Overall, the place was very clean. The rooms were in good condition and we really liked the location.

Arrived 3:30 pm rooms not ready . Rooms are run down , smell and refrigerator had black mold . Shower had scummy melted soap on soap dish clearly never cleaned the shower !!!!

Bed bugs everywhere. Host wouldn't move us and wouldn't refund us!!

It's an older property but appears clean. The man I talked to was courteous. I don't want to rip a whole property, but our room had roaches. We ordered a pizza and within a half our a roach found it. I saw them mostly around the sink and shower. If they get the pest problem solved it would be a good value.

Room wasn’t clean at all! Bathroom had glass and a rolled up dollar bill on the ground. Hair on the toilet and shower. Sheets were stained. Never will stay again

Stay was fine, difficult to adjust thermostat, significant cold air draft from windows even when drapes are drawn closed. On day 1 of check-in, headboard, desktop and table tops very dusty.

after about 3 hrs the FREEZING cold room finally got above 60degrees. alas the tub wouldn’t hold water and the microwave smelled of spilled cleanser. at least it was cheap. oh. the 600 channel tv lineup? more like 20 channels repeated 30x each

Breakfast didnt start until 7am during the week. The deadbolt didnt work very well. The internet was incredibly slow. Over all it wasnt the cleanest but no bugs.

The hotel exterior was clean. The room carpet should be replaced. The bathroom was clean but it looks like the floor has not been clean with any detergent for a while. WiFi was very limited ( less than 85kbs!). The breakfast was so so. The coffee was watered down.

Guests occupying next door on each sides of my room were extremely noisy, fighting and throwing things around their rooms in the middle of the night from 1am till 4 am. Noise very disturbing and I was unable to get any sleep during my 2 nights stay.

Great price for the room. The room was clean, every day I had fresh towels and bed sheets. Room also had a nice work area and I appreciated the large room.

The place was very clean. However the bed was hard as a rock. Woke up with back pain. If you like a hard mattress then this is fine for you.

Front desk personnel very attentive and professional

Property was SAFE and CLEAN! The team was very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised, as we were expecting a 2-star place (based on the great price), and instead found a 4-star hotel experience. Everyone had a great attitude, and the room was well furnished. The front desk noticed my partner's age, and quietly upgraded our reservation to a handicap-accessible room, which was very much appreciated! The free breakfast included hot and healthy options; nice!

3rd and last time I will ever stay at this location. Due to a family emergency, my partner and I booked, paid in full and needed to check in extremely late. Full well knowing we would only be occupying the room for 7 hrs, as check out was 11am (no later). Upon checking in at 4am, front desk informed us, the hold for incidentals was equal to our entire nights stay ($160). We explained our short stay was due to a family members hospitalization, we did not have enough availability on our credit card for $160 hold, the room was paid and verified thru H.com. We also knew, based upon staying twice within the last 6 months, the hold for the exact same room was not equal to one nights stay. We even offered to give all the cash we had in our pockets, stay in the lobby while the hotels cleaning service, cleaned our room upon checkout. Keeping in mind it was 4am and had nowhere else to stay, we were not rude. Rather, making every attempt to just rest our heads in the room which was already paid in full thru H.com. The front desk "manager" was extremely rude. He refused every suggestion and could care less how many times we had already stayed at this location. Mind you, we're in our 40's. Defacing a hotel room is not how we handle our hotel stays. The "manager" cancelled room, refunded stay, threw us out of lobby due to him "being tired and needing to get back to sleep". Thank goodness for H.com!!! Immediately found us a better hotel, provided a credit, with no hold needed!

Very pleasant all around stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and let me check in 2 hours early. They even sent someone right away to help me with getting the AC to work. Would definitely stay again.

Also was in a great location for our tournament plus shopping and restaurants in the area were fabulous! Very happy with our stay and if we are in the area again I will definitely choose the Travel Inn !

Safe and quiet

Good location for our needs

The room had a weird smell upon initially coming in but faded after we had the air on for a few minutes. The room itself was clean as was the bathroom. The toilet seat had some black scuff marks that were off-putting. The staff were very friendly. We were on the ground floor facing the highway and heard a lot of traffic but it wasn't hard to sleep despite that. The hotel is somewhat isolated from anything of note beyond Northlandz and a shopping center off of 202. Would recommend for the proximity to the Black River and Western railroad and the reasonable price.

We stayed here for a night while we were traveling to Dallas Texas and it was good for a short stay, nothing really stood out to us. The only downfall was the breakfast was meh.. some of it was cold and they had a very limited menu, eggs, sausage and waffles and that’s it. Good for a travel stop

parking was easy and secure..outside of the hotel, the grounds were clean and well kept..the breakfast was good..the room was clean..the only thing i wouldve liked was a comfortable chair..there was one, but it was hard..we enjoyed our stay though!

Room was clean and comfortable and looked as recently redone. The free breakfast that is offered was sparse and the eggs and sausage were cold both mornings. Went out for breakfast the second morning.

Easily accessible : convenient to exit and get to different routes : many restaurants and eateries close by ; staff very caring and welcoming : large rooms within almost separate mini lounge . Plumbing needs attention : drains tend to clog in bath and sink : good air conditioning: PIMS on the back side are quiet and not subject to road noise . Housekeeping needs some improvement : rooms on ground floor are good for seniors and families with young children : no need for escalators and most luggage can just be rolled from car to the room : parked the car right in front of the room 2 ft from the door - so need to move all luggage to the room . Breakfast served is pitiful : no toaster one one day : very little choose : cereals dispenser empty : some juice dispensers empty : no eggs on Sunday : owners need to fix this . A bad breakfast is a disastrous way to begin your day !!

It was exactly what we paid for, so no real complaints. Beds and a shower that kind of worked. One complaint: The Complimentary breakfast was just an afterthought. Generally don’t expect much. This was all sugar, carbs and highly processed food. Couldn’t eat it. Whole wheat instead of white bread might have been nice.
