Glenview Guest House

Have stayed before, when the opportunity arose stayed again.

We arrived in Oban about 3 in the afternoon and left the next day at 7 AM, so our stay was quite short. However, our host was very nice and provided us with an unusually early, hot breakfast so we could be on our way early to the Glasgow airport.

Really nice just what I needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glenview and hope to return. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Our freshly cooked breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the cosy TV lounge. Everyone was very kind and friendly to our wee dog Heather.

I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. I will be back!
