Extraordinary place, magnificent views of the fjord. The reception was unavailable my whole stay but it was not an issue. There is a private beach, I do recommend the "sea" view room. I will certainly come back soon. Thank you

L'accueil était personnalisée et nous avons eu réponse à toutes nos questions. Vue magnifique sur la Rivière Saguenay. Il y a même un escalier (a plusieurs paliers) aménagé pour atteindre la plage de sable et de petites pierres pour observer le beau coucher et lever de soleil. Paisible, calme et pittoresque avec le sont des petites chutes situé non loin de l'auberge.

Nous étions seuls et on ne savait pas que le resto était fermé…personne pour nous informer de ne pas descendre l’auto en bas. Il faudrait aviser…en cas de grosse neige. Propre! Bien décoré! Merci!

The owner is not available. Call her so many times so Expedia en she never answered. Parking is so small and down the hill. I have a new F-150 and it overheated just because of that. I had to wait for the truck to cool down while calling the owner and she never responded. I had to find a different hotel at the middle of the night. Limited parking.The are is horrible and no access to anything. She refused to refund for all these issues. I won’t recommend anyone to go through this experience.

L’auberge est super cute et rustique mais On as attendu 2 h avent de pouvoir entrer dans nos chambres il n’y avais pas de reseptioniste (4:50 à 7h pm ) la pente est apique et geler il as fallut attendre un tracteur avec du sable pour nous permettre de sortir de l’auberge (hiver ) cependant, peut achalender donc on as passer une super nuit :)

Magnifique lieu pour la vue. Bâtiment nécessitant quelques rénovation et un peu de déco mais très propre et lit confortable. Quelques rénos faites (clim, galerie refaite et porte patio récente mais moustiquaire déchirée). Stationnement situé en haut de la falaise. Accès étroit pour la zone de débarcadère mais c'est le prix à payer pour être sur le majestueux fjord. Personnel très gentil et avenant.

Accès & stationnement limité en bas, puis plusieurs escaliers pour acceder àla chambre. Odeur d'humidité dans les corridors & chambre. Lit et drap confortables mais oreiller avec odeur de sueurs. Pas d'air climatisé, porte patio ouvre difficilement, ainsi que la porte de douche. Sans quoi la chambre etait spacieuse, la vie etait magnifique mais je ne me serais pas risqué de descendre sur la plage, car llusieurs marches et balcons exterieurs sont dû a être changés.

A l arrivee on peut descendre la cote pour sortir nos bagages, mais il faut stationner en haut. A prevoir si vous avez des limitations physiques. J ai recu un accueil formidable et le service etait impeccable. Merci Alexandre!!! . La chambre etait comme sur la pub,: vu sur le fjord.. franchement genial. Propre, un peu vieillot comme ameublement mais lit confortable. Un escalier nous permet de descendre jusqu a la berge/plage. Pour la restauration il faut savoir que c est style choix du chef; j ai eu 4 options d entree, 4 de repas principale et possibilite de biere. Pas de vin. La darne de thon etait super! Par contre la salade et le riz, plutot ordinaire. Dejeuner 2 choix. Mais seulement pour la vue et le calme cela valait le prix!!

Arrivé a 15h30, la chambre n'était pas prête malgré le check-in de 14h. Jai donc pris une bière en attendant ma chambre. Il y avait aissi 2 couples qui attendaient de faire leur chek-in. Il y avait dans la salle a manger des bibittes a fruit. Petites bestioles fatiguantes qui volaient au dessus des tables. Jai décidé daller souper ailleurs. Enfin, il y a une odeur de je ne sais quoi. Quelque chose de moisie, je ne sais pas. Un fond dair bizarre.Pourtant l'endroit est tres beau. Lauberge est simple et la vue sur le fjord est sublime. Mais lorsqu'on entre dans ce lieu il y a une ompression de suspiscion. Une drole dambiance.

Odeur désagréable dans les couloir, d’ailleurs des déshumidificateurs sont en place. La chambre est bien, rénovée, et la vue splendide. Le petit déjeuner proposé à 20$… nous avons trouvé cela excessif, même si il est soit disant complet.

This property delivered on all posted information and the room was very clean. Overall this is a reall hidden gem. However the biggest disapointed comes to the kitchen and service. The lack of options for dinner (3), missing staples items like white wine, no beer, no bottle water and food to be desirable ( one day great, the next day passable). Also for the our room, we did have AC, however it was prop up of the floor right by the patio door, which could not be fully close. Fixing those little things would go a long way, certainly for the price.

The room literally smelled of sewage. When I reported this to the person at the reception, he came down and I had the feeling he was trying to downplay the issue. He then started wondering what could be done to fix the odour, all I could suggest is to contact a plumber. Room was rented at a high price for what it would have been, minus the odour. Only managed to sleep for a few hours. Tried to obtain a refund for the second night but got the runaround. Definitely do not recommend.

Télévision ne fonctionne pas. Pas de Kleenex dans la chambre. Pas de rideau devant la fenêtre, aucune intimité puisque le voisin peut voir tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre. Manque de verre dans la salle de bain, on est obligé de servir la tasse de café pour brosser nos dents. Aucun sucre ni lait ni cuillère ou bâton pour nos café. En tout, la direction ne fait rien pour régler le problème.

Nous étions 5 personnes. Il n’y avait pas de lit d’appoint donc ma fille a du dormir au sol sur un tapis de yoga. Les lits étaient inconfortables et nous n’avions pas assez de couvertures. La vue était magnifique. Nous avions une super grande fenêtre. Par contre, il n’y avait pas de rideaux. Donc, réveil tôt assuré! La salle de bain était grande mais pas de shampooing et de savon pour le corps. Pas de sèche-cheveux. Il avait pas de lumière dans la douche. Vraiment TROP DISPENDIEUX pour ce que c’est. De plus, comme le bâtiment est situé beaucoup plus bas que la route, il faut être en super forme pour descendre et remonter la pente ou les escaliers ( beaucoup de marches). Bref à éviter !

Just in case anyone else is confused, please not that this place is very much an Inn and not a full fledged hotel. The property was nice and quiet and the person at the front desk was super friendly. However during our stay there was only one person working as it was apparently a low season. The breakfast was quite a let down based on the price we paid! The rooms were clean but they had a portable ac unit and the exhaust was attached to the window by a duct tape which fell down the first night and we had to keep putting it back the next night. The area is very pretty and quiet if the management can fix these minor issues this could be a really amazing place to stay

Pas de douche, bain avec douche téléphone sans rideau. Notre chambre donne directement sur l'escalier où tous le monde arrive (et non sur le fjord) mais aucun rideau pour nous donner un peu d'intimité. J'ai mis les 4 oreillers fournis dans la fenêtre pour camoufler la vue des autres résidents. C'étais une de mes moins belles expériences.

There was no on there to meet us and I had trouble contacting him. On your confirmation email whrn I tried to message him, it said there was a problem with the site. Terrible Experience – No Electricity and No Support We had a very disappointing stay. There was no electricity in the entire room, and to make things worse, no one was picking up the phone when I tried to contact reception or support. I called multiple times, but there was no response at all. It’s unacceptable for a property to leave guests in the dark—literally—with no communication or assistance. Basic services like electricity and guest support are the minimum I expect from any stay, and this place failed on both counts. My kids are sick after that night. We are trying for refund still no one responding. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

L'accueil était personnalisée et nous avons eu réponse à toutes nos questions. Vue magnifique sur la Rivière Saguenay. Il y a même un escalier (a plusieurs paliers) aménagé pour atteindre la plage de sable et de petites pierres pour observer le beau coucher et lever de soleil. Paisible, calme et pittoresque avec le sont des petites chutes situé non loin de l'auberge.

We visited after the end of the tourist season. The Auberge itself is several miles beyond the town of La , Baie, in a lovely wooded area literally right on the bank of the fjord. As soon as we entered, there was a sense of both tranquility and beauty. The reception area opens onto a wide-windowed dining area looking directly onto the fjord. We ate there, the food was good, individually prepared, and the setting incomparable. Our room was bright, clean, and comfortable, with a view to the woods and fjord and a balcony (great for warmer weather). Service was personal and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better sojourn.

Quelques rénos faites (clim, galerie refaite et porte patio récente mais moustiquaire déchirée). Stationnement situé en haut de la falaise. Accès étroit pour la zone de débarcadère mais c'est le prix à payer pour être sur le majestueux fjord. Personnel très gentil et avenant.

A l arrivee on peut descendre la cote pour sortir nos bagages, mais il faut stationner en haut. A prevoir si vous avez des limitations physiques. J ai recu un accueil formidable et le service etait impeccable. Merci Alexandre!!! . La chambre etait comme sur la pub,: vu sur le fjord.. franchement genial. Propre, un peu vieillot comme ameublement mais lit confortable. Un escalier nous permet de descendre jusqu a la berge/plage. Pour la restauration il faut savoir que c est style choix du chef; j ai eu 4 options d entree, 4 de repas principale et possibilite de biere. Pas de vin. La darne de thon etait super! Par contre la salade et le riz, plutot ordinaire. Dejeuner 2 choix. Mais seulement pour la vue et le calme cela valait le prix!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement et l’environnement près de la nature. L’auberge était très propre et très bien aménagé. Toutefois nous conseillons de prendre les repas à l’extérieur.

Odeur désagréable dans les couloir, d’ailleurs des déshumidificateurs sont en place. La chambre est bien, rénovée, et la vue splendide. Le petit déjeuner proposé à 20$… nous avons trouvé cela excessif, même si il est soit disant complet.

This property delivered on all posted information and the room was very clean. Overall this is a reall hidden gem. However the biggest disapointed comes to the kitchen and service. The lack of options for dinner (3), missing staples items like white wine, no beer, no bottle water and food to be desirable ( one day great, the next day passable). Also for the our room, we did have AC, however it was prop up of the floor right by the patio door, which could not be fully close. Fixing those little things would go a long way, certainly for the price.

This was a lovely place with a magnificent view of the fjord. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The breakfast at the Auberge was delicious too! We will definitely stay there again if we travel to that area.

Belle chambre propre et restaurant avec une vue superbe. Malheureusement, il manquait de personnel et la dame qui nous a servis ne travaillait là que depuis 10 jours et manquait visiblement d'expérience (mais était très gentille). Quand nous sommes arrivés, il manquait plusieurs choses dans la chambre (savon à mains, poubelle, verres...) et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas. The staff was not present throughout our two-day stay and were not reachable as well. They said breakfast was a optional pay, however, the breakfast area was not open, nor an option for us.
