A no-frills hotel which is absolutely wonderful. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean which is very important. Upgrades will be done per the front desk. Breakfast is no longer being served but there are plenty of places in neighboring towns for food. There is plenty of parking, vending machines for snacks and amazing sunset views.

This motel room was clean. The lights by the bed didn't work. We talked to the manager, and she told us that they were upgrading their rooms, and this room will be next for the upgrade. We were allowed to take our dog in the motel room.

My parents and I shared Room #124 along with my pet Lucky (dog) our room was clean and smell okay, but our bathtub was not clean at all, I had to cleaned before we went to take a shower, also there was not any toilet tissue paper, I had to go out to get one in the office. My brother and his family shared room #113 where the floors were dirty and dusty and the shower did not function at all they had $50.00 back on their reservation because they complaint to the office on the spot. Over roll the place is not bad it serves our purpose of staying for the night of the weekend on Sept. 27-28, 2025, It was comfortable and quiet and good place if you are traveling with pets.

I've been here several times in the past and the last time was a few years before COVID hit. I was really amazed with all of the renovations made in and around the property. The lobby was very different than it had been years ago and the room was so much nicer than before. The staff was also very friendly. My favorite thing about this place is the view it has with the beautiful mountains right across the street from the motel. It was near peak season of autumn so the colors were so lovely. We had a very nice stay. I intend to come back again in the future.

I wasn’t expecting luxury when I booked a hotel, but I was expecting it to be clean. I’m not entering the room. It was fine until you noticed that above the dresser the mirror had been ripped off the wall and repainted. You went into the bathroom and the toilet paper is just stacked on the tank because there’s no toilet paper holder. The hairdryer mount was still there but no hairdryer. The heater was covered in dusted hair and when you opened up the sink, there was a roach motel with no roaches Somebody’s old body lotion and partially used up toilet paper roll. The room had not been cleaned as they were dead, beetles in all the corners and on the ledge where the mirror that had been removed had been.

Room could use some attention, no where no hang clothes, towel rack is pulling out of the wall. Fire alarm kept going off after bedtime, quite annoying. Bring a hair dryer, none in room. But I have to comment that room was very clean. We booked a king, but got put in a double, but was same price.

This motel is over priced. First room provided smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke, and I was able to switch to a different room. The rooms may be “non smoking” but people smoke right outside the rooms. Room was humid with several flies inside. Very basic accommodations. Did not sleep well.

Not luxurious but not overly expensive. Paper thin walls so you can hear upstairs neighbors. Was clean. Not sure about the mattress but good enough to sleep. I think there are fairly new owners. Room looked recently painted with new laminate floor. Hopefully no bedbugs!

The Countryside Inn was nice, clean with comfortable beds. This is an older, non-chain hotel which could use some updating but provided a nice place to stay for the night. The room was simple but spacious enough and provided a coffee maker and microwave (no fridge). Check in was quick and staff (Michelle) very friendly. She gave is dinner recommendations and directions. Overall, it was very nice and convenient for our 1 night stay.

The room was dark. The bed was actually concave. It had an undeniable deep depression right down the center. The interior door jam looked as it had been kicked in. The additional safety latch was missing the other half. Bathroom shower head was HORRIFIC! And the shower curtain rod was all rust. Unfortunately I needed a room in the area and everything else was booked.

It was a clean comfortable room! Michelle was awesome but the direct TV service was unacceptable. We could only get very basic channels! Couldn’t even watch a ball game on TV! The outside is run down quite a bit and in need of repair in many places. Covid no longer an issue yet there was no breakfast offered and it is 10 miles from the nearest restaurant so that was inconvenient too! Oh and the hotel sign kept flashing on n off and so we missed the turn once and went 10 miles out of our way and had to turn around! Again nice little hotel but would not stay there again!

Just a motel room, nothing fancy. Something that was hilarious to me was the toilet paper was about 5 feet away so you would have to be around 7 feet tall to reach it when you were sitting there. No problems and the manager was a lovely woman and very helpful.

Very adequate hotel for a one night stay. Nothing fancy, but if you just need a nice bed and a clean hot shower this is fine. Close to main highway and places to eat.

Stayed overnight for son’s graduation from SUNY Cobleskill. Convenient location with easy access off the highway and direct road from hotel into town. Room was clean and updated. Even though it’s right off the highway, no road noise was heard. Room came with mini fridge which was great for storing drinks and snacks. Gas station convenience store right below hotel was also a perk. Staff was friendly and no issues with check-in. Place was quite and we didn’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!

We didn't stay long as we arrived later than anticipated. So we didn't get the opportunity to check many things out. The beds were super comfy. It was close to the college which is why we stayed there. It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast, but that was not an option.

Brown water. Miniscule bar of soap. Poor lighting for working at night. GM makes up rooms herself but says guests must REQUEST maid service in advance. No breakfast, no nearby restaurants. Cooperstown is 45 minutes away, mostly on country roads. Would not come back.

A no-frills hotel which is absolutely wonderful. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything was clean which is very important. Upgrades will be done per the front desk. Breakfast is no longer being served but there are plenty of places in neighboring towns for food. There is plenty of parking, vending machines for snacks and amazing sunset views.

It was a clean comfortable room! Michelle was awesome but the direct TV service was unacceptable. We could only get very basic channels! Couldn’t even watch a ball game on TV! The outside is run down quite a bit and in need of repair in many places. Covid no longer an issue yet there was no breakfast offered and it is 10 miles from the nearest restaurant so that was inconvenient too! Oh and the hotel sign kept flashing on n off and so we missed the turn once and went 10 miles out of our way and had to turn around! Again nice little hotel but would not stay there again!

It was just OK enough for a reasonably priced overnight stay after a visit to Cooperstown on my way to NYC. Not much around there for food or interest. The rooms were large with fridge & TV but the furniture was garage sale quality but adequate for the price.

Very quiet motel in a rural setting. Not many extras, but it was exactly what we needed. The staff directed us to an excellent restaurant for dinner and a nice local diner for breakfast.

The room was not very comfortable but was clean. Not food places close by. Significant potholes in the driveway leading to the facility. Very dark and not well lit at night. The price for this motel was over priced in my opinion.

Faucet cold water was lukewarm. Shower head was loose. No breakfast and no place to get breakfast in town. It was clean but no toilet paper holder. Very marginal place. Best feature was the adjacent dc fast charger.
