This was a family getaway to enjoy family time, pool time, etc. Ae paid a higher price based on ratings, amenties— no pool, no spa, no business center. Breakfast was a disaster as nothing was ready, pancakes never came out, half/half spoiled.

Upon arrival we were informed the hotel was under construction due to renovation which was not stated in the website. As of 8/10 the pool has been drained and shut down and as of 8/10 the elevator was not working unsure if the issue was resolved but if you cannot use the stairs in case of it not working I wouldn’t book

Check in was easy and fast on a holiday weekend. All the staff that I ran into were very friendly and helpful. Everyone was busy and everything was clean! The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of warm and cold things. The employee who was running the breakfast did a great job even though there were so many people and a lot of messes! She kept her cool and did just a wonderful job. Every employee that I met had a great attitude. The pool was warm and the hot tub was fine! Everything was clean and very nice. The rooms work very clean and very modern. The TV does not allow streaming from your phone but that wasn't really a big deal. Lots of pillows and they were labeled if they were soft or firm which I thought was pretty nice. And they were regular size pillows so they were really good. The workout area had three machines and a bunch of weights and was very good. Everything wonderful! Thank you so much. I would stay at this hotel every time I go through Las Cruces!

We were looking for to staying but found out they were renovating. The main thing we were hoping to do, swim, we couldn't because of the renovations. The front desk clerk was amazing. He totally understood the reason for leaving. Unfortunately, I forgot his name.

Breakfast was good, lots of variety. The room cleanliness could be better- under the beds had trash and animal hair. The paint was rippled and peeling along the side of the wall near the bathtub.

The floors were not very clean. There was old food/trash on the ground. The air conditioner didn’t work and the room was hot, and the beds were awful. Very thin mattresses, we could feel the springs and they caved in. Food for breakfast was disgusting. We had to leave and find another place to eat breakfast.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We’ve stayed at 4 Holiday Inn’s in the last 1.5 weeks and this by far has been the worst. The rooms were dirty. Headboard was oily so you could not rest your head on it. Room looked like it was never dusted. All the furniture was heavily scratched and/or torn. There was a smell in the room that made me sick when we walked in. Enough that I puked. The location and service was excellent. VERY disappointed in the cleanliness based on what we paid. It stung because the was the most expensive IHG we’ve stayed in while traveling this trip.

The hotel bathroom was on the gross side. Sewage smell when turning on the bathroom faucets. The shower needed a thorough deep cleaning; crud in the corners of the shower with what appeared to be mold on the shower head.

I was here only for one night and dont really have any complaints. Check in was easy, room was very clean and spacious, bathroom was a bit dated but nothing to crib about. Breakfast spread was larger than other comparable hotels.

If you are assigned 210, ask for a different room. I chose the Holiday Inn Express on Telshor for a long weekend with its proximity to good restaurants and cycling trails. I often stay at HIE, and stayed at this one previously, because of the consistency. Everything was good about this trip except the room location. Room 210 is located directly above the main hotel entrance. Every time the doors open and shut there is loud banging as the doors run along their tracks in the floor. This operation vibrates the room, including the bed, at all hours. This is no fault of the staff, but of poor and thoughtless design which should have dictated this room be a laundry\facilities room. There is no disclaimer in the room description and this room should be highly discounted.

Staff called us for an earlier check-in! It worked out great because we were able to get settle before spending all day at an NMSU swim meet. So nice to get out of the hot sun and be able to go straight to our room. Staff had been wonderful!

Was a a very nice stay. Loved the comfy bed and pillows and tv had a good variety of channels unlike other hotels . Was there for a college graduation. Front desk employees were very nice and helpful.

We usually love Holiday Inn Express, but I would not go back to this one. Room was in disrepair (drywall coming off wall.) The room was dark she felt unwelcoming. The girl at the front desk in the evening was there to do the most minimal amount she needed to for her job. I had wished we stayed anywhere else but here.

We checked out less than two hours after we checked in. The beds are as hard as a board and the open space beneath the beds is covered in filth and things left behind- which I checked because my dust allergies symptoms were highly present shortly after we got to the room. The clerk wouldn’t give me a receipt because she claimed her system doesn’t work like that, and I have to wait until the following day for an emailed receipt!!!???? I'm paying for a room I’m not sleeping in and I can’t even get a receipt? NEVER AGAIN.

Went for a family stay and when the counter person found out that we were going to white sands national park she immediately offered us to use the sand boards they had free of charge. Right off the bat the hotel staff was excellent. Even they were under some remodeling the stay was quiet and comfortable.

Check in was good and our room was fine. Our only issue was the lack of food at breakfast. We arrived downstairs to eat at 8 am and there were no rolls or pastries, no juice and no biscuits. So I would say the breakfast was lacking.

A great place to stay, but breakfast is lacking. Juice machine has been out of order for the last 7 months!!! And the staff member (singular) needs more help to keep the food items replenished. Food items are quickly consumed and not refilled in a reasonable amount of time. However, I have only seen one person working in the breakfast area. That poor person needs more help!!

One reason I chose this hotel is it had breakfast. But very disappointed as the pancake machine and juice dispenser were out of order for 2days and the little cheese omlets were burnt and the scrambled eggs were over cooked and miked with some that weren’t. Mostly all pastries and yogurt. Didn’t eat there for the 3 days we stayed. It was terrible.
