Super smelly room, like really really bad, the likes of a skunk spray or worst of molds. On telling the front desk that it smells, he said "no it doesnt, i gave you the best room. What do you expect from a motel!" I'd recommend sleep in your car or somewhere, but stay away from this dirt hole of a place and the staff! Never coming back here..

That place is horrible… dirty, stink…I wish I won’t experience that nightmare anymore… that is a very disgusting place.

Disgusting. Didn't want to sleep on the dirty mattress but had no choice. Itching all night. Afraid of bed bugs. No chairs to sit on in or outside of the motel. Carpet was very dirty. DIRTYYYY, We didn't even last 5 minutes inside the room and decided to leave. I paid for a non smoking room and apart from the fact that it smells like cigarettes the walls looks sticky from the smoke. There were spider webs on the walls and the chandelier. The bathroom was horrible too, mold in the corners. I understand that it is a motel and super cheap, but it does not take away how unsanitary it is.

I paid for superior room non smoking, but when I went to the room, it was a dirty one and smoking, carpet never got shampoo or replaced. Was my worst experience in a motel. I don't want that room not even for $10 the night. The staff didn't want to help me.

Would rather sleep outside on the ground. The worst place I've ever stayed. Bed size not as advertised; room smelled strongly like an ashtray in spite of being listed as smoke free; thin blanket with cigarette burn holes; broken fan/missing cover bathroom; hole in wall, thin walls (noisy), worn furniture; incredibly dirty (flies) and mattress; noisy, sagging bed. Like a stereotypical drug den from a movie. Was cheap but nonrefundable. Shame on Orbitz for not correcting the listing- these problems have been previously noted by other guests. Shame on the owner for not caring about customers.

The room had bed bugs. One of the drawers was missing out of the dresser. The remote was filthy…crust and dirt all over the remote. A hole is in the front door. There is approximately a 2 inch opening under the door….cold air flowing freely under the door.

I did not have high expectations. I had a surprisingly good night's rest considering the age and condition of the mattress. Our room (209) had a lot of character from the wood paneling, small size, and background sounds of a neighboring television and amorous couple. Achievement unlocked for staying in a seedy American motel for a rendezvous with a lover. Pro-tip: brining your own candles and Bluetooth speaker greatly enhances the atmosphere. The candle light reflecting off the wood paneling is pretty sweet.

There was no decent blanket. The one on the bed was more like a slightly thicker bed sheet. The heater was so loud and inefficient, it kept me awake all night. The TV was broken, with no volume control There was not even phone in the room for me to use to contact the front desk. The was one of the worst hotel I have ever stayed.

I needed a place in Stony Point, NY for a few nights before getting picked up for my new job about an hour away. I had no choice. Listen, I am not here to badmouth places. The air conditioner had no remote and you would have to be 7 feet tall to reach it. There was a microwave and a mini fridge, which were both clean. I was afraid of the bed, based on the overall appearance of everything else in the room. There was a 24 hour gas/convenience store across the street, plus many food options within walking distance. So, that was helpful. I was here in the peak fall season, so I didn't have many hotel options. I will leave it at that.

It was as I expected for a last minute booking. The property said a lot with saying anything.... The front desk clerk was pleasant at check in but when I got my room and discovered my king was full -sized the same clerk, who picked up the phone after almost one hour of calling, told me that was all they had, all the beds are the same and that the websites put whatever they want. BEWARE!!!!!!!

This place is a dump. Lucky for them, they're the only dump in a large radius. We were literally stranded during flooding and storms, got one of the last rooms there, so thankful for that. But would definitely not stay again - AirBnB would have been a better choice. Dirty, smoky, loud neighbors ALL NIGHT, AC worked but woke us up every time it started running. Extremely rude desk staff when we checked in.

It's exactly what the name says it is - a budget motor inn (AKA Motel). I would say the place is just average - check in was generally straightforward, check out was easy, no frills with anything. They only had a smoking room available and it was fine, they seem to try to keep the rooms clean. Shower was actually pretty good, with great water pressure. The room lacked any sort of desk to do some work, a table or something would probably have bumped this rating up one. But really, can't complain - if I was in the area and I needed a cheap place to stay for 1-2 nights, I'd come back here. A bonus is it's generally close to the major highways in the Palisades so though the area immediately around the motel is a bit sparse, any retail/shopping/activities are within 10-20 minutes away.

Check in is after 2pm. I arrived at 4:17pm, to find a note taped to the door saying they'll return at 5:30. There was a number listed on the door which I called, but no one answered. I couldn't wait around as I was headed to Long Island for a concert and needed to get going. On my drive to the concert I called 3 times. Once at 5:34, then again at 5:42 and again immediately after that. No one answered and voicemail was full. After three concert ended I called again at 10:30pm and same thing. I did not want to drive back home as it was a 4 hour drive, and I had already been awake since 5:30am. Thankfully I drive past a motel close to the venue which had open rooms I stayed at. This was complete negligence on the the motel. They knew they had a booking and never bothered to call to see where I was.

We showed up to one of the seediest hotels we ever saw! The desk said they had no reservation for us that went through Expedia. We just left. Went to see a show in Peekskill, no other rooms available anywhere, then drove back to after the show

The staff was awful and not helpful, we left a day early because of the poor conditions and people fighting above us over drugs all night. I witnessed drug deals in the parking lot all night. My wife felt so unsafe I stayed up watching the door! People are living there in the rooms on the second floor that seems to be a half way house. Stony point is a nice city around nice area of bearfoot mountain but this place should not be open and cops should raid the place! Do not stay here!

It's exactly what the name says it is - a budget motor inn (AKA Motel). I would say the place is just average - check in was generally straightforward, check out was easy, no frills with anything. They only had a smoking room available and it was fine, they seem to try to keep the rooms clean. Shower was actually pretty good, with great water pressure. The room lacked any sort of desk to do some work, a table or something would probably have bumped this rating up one. But really, can't complain - if I was in the area and I needed a cheap place to stay for 1-2 nights, I'd come back here. A bonus is it's generally close to the major highways in the Palisades so though the area immediately around the motel is a bit sparse, any retail/shopping/activities are within 10-20 minutes away.

Horrible WiFi in my room. TV did not work. Shower was a pain to figure out. Pretty sure I found a DEAD bed bug on the floor by my bed (at least it was dead). Asked for a new towel and washcloth two days in a row only to finally get JUST THE TOWEL the third day. You get what you pay for here that’s for sure.

If you are just looking for a bed, this place works, but for anything other than that, you're better off camping. Room smelled funny, fit and finish was a disaster, A/C worked but I had to press the GFCI button to enable electricity to it.

My non smoking was probably as clean as you could have asked for at this place. It was fine as a place to sleep and shower, nothing more nothing less. I would have liked a chair or a desk in the room as a place to eat.
