The property is a jewel of Victorian architecture, and is run by folks who are the warmest and friendliest people I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bellefonte itself is worth a stop for its many late 19th century mansions. Breakfasts were great and all in all it was an outstanding experience.

We made the decision for last minute stop and we are glad we did! Jess and Retta were so nice. The place is clean and offers lots of amenities. Complimentary brandy, cookies, fruit, lavendar washcloths. Games, books and a pool table. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was filling. We would stay there again and will recommend!

Although we stayed only one night, we enjoyed our day at this mansion. You immediately notice the amount of effort and resources that its owners have put on it. Everything was so well maintained that we felt like being invited by the very same Mr. Reynolds. It was a great experience, very different than conventional hotels. Highly recommended.

The castle was beautiful. Exquisite decore, game room, and Jess went over and above any other other place we've stayed in the past. Prior to arriving she checked on any food allergies that may effect our breakfast. She made excellent suggestions for dinner, when she found it was our anniversary, she had left a bottle of wine, and an anniversary card next to the bed. So many other little personal extras made our stay so pleasant. We have never had a more pleasant experience.

This house is exquisite! The innkeeper went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved the charm of the Louisa room and truly enjoyed playing pool in the billiards room at night. There may have also been a couple of nightcaps in the snuggery. Delightful trip!

The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is homemade and delicious! When we arrived there was a cocktail hour where we met other PS parents. The managers are very friendly & will do anything to make your stay comfortable.
