Room was disgustinly dirty and stinky. The property is run down and dirty. The lobby is dirty. Everyone is dirty. I dont think the bedspreads had been washed since whomever was in that room last. Gross.

I cannot commend this motel enough! Family owned and operated. They have appliances and furniture that look old until you realize they're spotless. That means this family keeps everything so clean that they were able to preserve that old road trip motel feel from the old days! It's genuinely incredible! The couple that owns the property are kind and SUPER helpful. I had a rough experience using hotels.com gift card money on a transaction and they walked me through the entire process, and they aren't even trained to do that! That's above and beyond. Top that off with pricing that is so low you'll literally feel bad and want to pay more, and you have maybe the best hidden gem in Michigan. Maybe the entire Midwest. And I travel for a living. Kudos to them and their family! Will ABSOLUTELY stay again and recommend anyone on the fence about it to give them a chance to prove themselves. You will not regret it!

Great place for the price. Fine for a clean room for a single overnight, but not for an extended stay. The bathroom is dated and small, but clean and the tiles are in great shape.
