Beds comfortable and unit clean HOWEVER neither TV in the suite worked and the Internet was so weak I could not pick it up. There is a pool but you have to bring your own pool/beach towel. It is $20 for a beach towel in the office. Location convenient but would not recommend this motel

Such a nice clean little hotel! It was a last minute find and I’m so glad I booked it! Everyone that works here was really nice and helpful! Pool was clean, water was super clear! Will definitely stay here again if travel to this area!

The pool was the highlight of our stay. Our large family was able to use the pool almost exclusively.

Picked the property because close to airport and pool but got there and pool was closed.

This property is advertised with a pool. The pool is closed. Why is that not known?? It is 1923 or 2023? It makes me question anything i book with Expedia.. like seriously it was a huge disappointment and i will have to call every hotel i book because apparently Expedia cant figure out if simple stuff is working

The room offered a sitting room and kitchenette which great. The TV did not work, the blinds were broken so there are gaps open to the outside. The beds are amazing. There were insects (flea-like jumping bugs??) in the bathroom. The room was spacious and checked all the boxes but very outdated and could use a cosmetic touch up. Ample parking and staff/ check-in was great and house keeping was good.

While the place is older, it is in good shape. Our suite was quite large. We had a stove, microwave, fridge, plates and utensils. It was just what we needed. The A/C was strong. It was quiet and comfortable. And it was a real deal for the money! Also, the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. In addition, it had daily maid service which it seems like a lot of the chain hotels no longer have.

Very nice kitchenette. Sturdy stairs rail. Easy to get to phone recharging wall plugs. Clean and new bed. A nice pool. It was a good stay.

Parking directly outside. Easy to get to town centre, Marina & the Ringling museum. Only negative, the sink smelt if the plug was left out.

An older hotel. It was extremely clean. It was a great value. Someone was cooking and stunk up my room one night but other than that it was above average

The room was dirty, specifically the restroom. There was hair on the floor and walls. The bathtub was stopped up and so was the sink.The place is very conveniently located near Siesta Key Beach. We only stayed one night. I don’t think I would do a longer stay. The staff was friendly.

Kitchenette had bath cloth for dish towel and used dish detergent with torn up sponge. Bathtub drained looked like mold and all fixtures were old. Sofa was old and raveling. Was charged extra $110 and was given itemized bill even after asking for it. Room was hot all night. Would not recommend a stay there. Look like an old apartment, no pictures or any decoration.

I liked the old Florida charm. It reminded me of being with my grandma. Very clean and quiet. Walking distance to shops and food. I loved the pool.

They could not get the TV to work. Floor was sticky n filthy. 1 dead roach n 1 walking across bathroom floor. Only hot water in shower that was barely coming out. Phone on table was dirty and sticky

My confirmation email said check-in was at 1pm. We arrived at 1:40 and we were told we could not check i because our room was being "deep-cleaned." We returned and checked in. After walking on the floor barefoot, the bottoms of our feet were black. We wiped our feet with a washcloth and I wish I could share the pic of it. This room was NOT cleaned. The air conditioning unit did not work. Thank goodness it was cool enough outside to have the windows open. The morning we were checking out there was a woman sitting outside who I assume was the cleaning lady because she asked how our room was. A child was yelling at her across the parking lot. The ice from the ice machine had black specs on it, and in the morning the ice machine was empty.

My number one is cleanliness. This property CLEAN inside and out. Staff were amazing. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

On the plus side, they're trying. This property probably dates back to the early 1950s, and they've tried to capture some of that old Florida kitsch, but add modern conveniences. For instance, the kitchenette had a marble countertop, and the TVs were well-equipped with streaming gadgets. The wifi was fast. But, the units are not in good shape. Blown outlets, missing towel bars, and a shower curtain rod that is five seconds away from pulling out an enormous chunk of plaster. But what just ruined my stay was the noise. Being a lower unit, naturally there was a group above me. At 0500, I was awakened (and I sleep like the dead) by what sounded like a dozen bass drums being played at once: It was the timpani effect of the uncarpeted floor above me. "How many times do people need to walk from the living room to the bathroom?" I asked myself, after half an hour of this. Eventually I concluded that, based on the booming sound, the upstairs unit must be housing some hefty construction workers, all over 250 lbs. Well, no. I peeked out to see them load their car, and it was a Mom with two tweens. The three of them together couldn't have weighed 250 lbs. Once they were gone, the place was silent, but I'd now been awake for two hours and it was time to get up. If you MUST stay here, get a 2nd floor unit.

We booked a last minute room when our flight was cancelled. It met all the basic requirements for a quick overnight stay. Desk staff was friendly. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The smoke detector was missing from the wall, which is not up to code.

TVs did not work in the room. Every time I ask about it I’m still working on it never fixed it.

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting Ringling College of Art and Design. While I wouldn't call it luxurious, the rooms are very clean and convenient for almost half the price of other hotels in the area.

When someone stayed above us you heard every move they made.most sounded like they were coming though the ceiling

We simply needed a clean bed after a very late flight arrival and 23 hours travelling with an infant. Check in good, rooms easily accessible, beds clean. AC very noisy and made sleep difficult. Bathroom okay but no hot water in shower (tepid). Shame we couldnt buy soft drinks in office

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was attentive. Since we were there for a couple of days, we did notice more wear and tear than what appeared at first glance. A lot of rusted metal - shower head and drain, lamps, etc. The bed was comfortable but creaked badly. Black out curtains would be very helpful since the lights outside the window were so bright it was quite light inside at night. I appreciated the full mini fridge and freezer that actually kept our food cold. The kitchen was very helpful with the stove top and sink. The television reception and internet were both adequate. Outside, the place doesn't look like much, but for the price it was good. Some aspects were great, and others - took the water forever to heat for ex. were not. Overall it was worth it.

Very pricey. Didn’t like the bed or pillows and very noisy by the road. Loved it being close to airport

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was surprisingly, very clean and well run. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything was fine. Just a little underserved by the staff at check-in and check-out.

The room was alright, cleanliness good, area around nice, but the service from the fronte desk/manager was horrible, difficult comunication and no willing to help the guest.

The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful, especially the housekeeper ladies!! Would definitely recommend!

I had no issue checking in then proceeded to get into my room. Got comfortable and suddenly someone was coming in my room with their own key. I was said...this room is taken. Excuse me? She says oh! I was just given this room im so sorry. Then she walks out and im thinking...ok. hope you get things fixed. I havent even been checked into the room for 30 minutes at this point. Then i hear banging at my door. "You need to check out. This room is already to be used" What? "Come out maam." I opened the door a crack and I said i am not dressed. I just got here. What is needed? And he says. "Get dressed maam come out." I got clothed and went to the door opened it and asked... what is the problem? You just gave me this room. I have already paid. What is wrong? And he is the same that helped check me in. He says...today? For 2 nights? I said. No for one night. "Oh sorry sorry. It is fixed" and he leaves. Later i asked for a late check out and was told No. They dont care of the inconvenience of having had me scared that someone else was able to get the key and check in for the same room. Rhey also didnt care about rhe inconvenience of wasting my first hour of relaxation. Not good business. Make sure to take your own towel to the pool or you can buybone for ten bucks at the office 😆 What i did like... spaciousness of the suite. Almost cleanliness... someones tissue was still under the side table.

I just wanna thank Tina shes very polite and professional and helped me with easy check in and extending my stay every time I come back my room is clean and smells good couldn't ask for a better stay

staff was RUDE! no one wants an unwelcome host when your checking into a hotel at midnight tired from a long flight. they were very disrespectful and gave away my room.

Very convenient location between Siesta Key Beach and Anna Maria Island, in case she wished to visit both places. A good stay for a couple of beach days.

This was a very clean older Motel. It is a good value for the location and was very clean. The only drawback is that it is on a busy highway and that makes it a little nosey. I would stay there again

The area the hotel is in is rough.

There's no on-site restaurant, so we either went out to eat, got some food from nearby markets to keep since our room had a kitchenette, or got take-out. The king bed was nice in appearance and comfortable. Housekeeping is not daily, and upon request only. I would stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Was in town for a wedding. 5-10 minute ride from airport - use Uber, taxi service was overpriced. Staff at hotel was pretty nice but I didn't require anything of them. Hotel is old but was fine for what I needed. AC, TV, etc worked. Decent BBQ joint right next door. Also a quickie mart right there. Also a Walmart grocery store within walking distance. Overall no complaints.

This is a great place to stay off 41. The rooms are large with full kitchen. It is an older property, but the important pieces have been updated: comfy bed, nice hard surface flooring, and great little kitchen. I would definitely stay again if needed , but like all hotels, inns or motels in the area it's overpriced. It's not the hotel's fault it's just the insanity of pricing lately. $160-185 (with taxes) for this older inn/motel off a busy road is ridiculous and this was one of the cheapest options in area!

For the price pay, it wasn’t a quality spect, not breakfast included; service received poor and the room not good at all; for the same price or less I will be received better room, breakfast included and better Hotel. Sorry but not good experience.

A/C was 71 when I arrived so I lowered it. It felt like an icebox when I got there. It is a wall unit, not central so you might hear it. I slept well. Shower is very forceful and good temperature, sink takes a while to get warm. Excellent for what I got which was an efficiency unit. It had everything you need. Clean, no bugs.
