Place needs a lot of work. Exterior of inn needs a total makeover from roof to foundation. Our room the king room needs renovation. Our toilet had not been cleaned there was urine and hair on the bowl and floor. Never received a text to let us know how to check in so that was an adventure. No staff on property and no air conditioning. When we went to bed our room temperature was 78. The owner or owners are certainly not reinvesting in this property.

The property has no staff on hand, ever. The breakfast was non existent . They advertise a full hot breakfast, then have a disclaimer on the reservation conformation "Due to lite renovation we will offer a "continental breakfast" ! The continental breakfast from our check in day consisted of 3 over ripe banana, a bag of bagels, frozen breakfast sandwiches dry cereal......there was no breakfast bakeries, no juice, no fruit, no fresh fruit. What was available on the first day was depleted by the first morning and nothing was restocked or cleaned by the second morning.......not a single staff member on property !!! Sad because it what we nearly expected.

AVOID THIS DISASTROUS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! We never saw any of the inn staff at at all during our stay. In fact, they instituted a “contactless” check-in and check-out. Why would anyone work in hospitality if they are so keen on avoiding contact with their guests? It was cold and honestly creepy. There was basically no breakfast available. It was K-cups, store-bought bagels in a plastic bag, and travel size cereal boxes (no milk for the cereal and no sugar for the coffee though!) There was a pervasive cigarette stench in the room. Our room was listed as “smoke-free” but the stench was so bad we had to open the windows in 20 degree weather. It made my clothes smell like smoke too. We also ran into several issues that needed housekeeping to address. There was a phone number to call but no one bothered to pick up because they were never there. So you are left to fend for yourself. The shower in our room was not working. We needed more towels and bar soap for the sink. They also never provided any tissues. The mattress was as hard as a rock which hurt my back. Between that and hearing everything from next-door and upstairs guests, I got no sleep during my stay. It is a shame just how far downhill the Brookview Manor has gone. The inn was in its heyday when Marty and Gaile owned it.

There was no staff in the building had to use code to get in main entrance. Took 2 hours to get hold of anyone. The restaurant they said was there does not open any more for years. No staff came to the inn the whole weekend we were there there was 6 flights of steps to get up to rooms. Overall i will never stay at this place again was really disappointed
