This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and loved the bar at the entryway of the hotel- it was so elegant and beautiful. We were close to everything. My only advice is that, if you're in a rental car, you'll need to dispose of it or park it before checking in- I didn't realize that at first! And the service was outstanding.

What an amazing hotel right in the heart of Split Old Town. The staff are exceptional 👌. The room was warm, cosy and beautiful with the old stonework. Made you feel very comfortable. Double glazing on the windows were great to keep noise levels from the Piazza at bay. 1 set of stairs up to reception, and thankful that the porters were able to bring the luggage up. The lifts to your room made it very easy too. Perfect location, especially for 1st time visitors. Breakfast was awesome too. This will be my go-to hotel when in Split. Thank you for a very memorable stay.

Small, boutique hotel near palace, on a plaza. Room pleasant. Decor nice, somewhat elegant. Desk clerk Carla was great (and she did great job with emails). Other clerk (Andy) was also great. Window into interior (not interesting) courtyard. No restaurant. Price for what we get was unreasonably high, probably due to excellent location. (It is a 4* hotel.) Good lighting. Room wasn't cleaned or made up. No parking - contacted hotel, they told me where to park, fetched us and luggage with a golf cart. On departure, reversed the process.

Wonderful place. We only stayed 2 nights but were treated like royalty. The hotel is located in Old Town which is not accessible by car. They set up a driver for us to pick us up from the hotel and then hotel staff met us and walked us to the hotel and carried our luggage. The room was pretty big (for Europe). Had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Only complaint is the bed was pretty stiff. Breakfast spread was amazing and there’s a bar/cafe outside downstairs that was so cute. The staff was wonderful, particularly Andy who walked us out upon departure and waited with us to ensure our ride picked us up. The location is right in the middle of Old Town and perfect if you’re looking to experience Split. Even has some history to it. Definitely recommend staying here!

Our room was in a separate wing of the building. It was large, with a window on the main square. It is reasonably quiet as the old town is pedestrian only. Everything was nice, including the breakfast. The only issue was that there was no elevator in our wing or to the lobby/reception area. And the entrance is through a street level bar that is often full.

The location in the town square is perfect! The luggage pick up, the wonderful breakfast that is included, and our beautiful balcony made this the perfect hotel.The bar at the hotel entrance was chic and cozy too!

This boutique family run hotel is in the best location, but without the noise you'd expect being so central. Completely soundproof. Amazing location. Need to get up some stairs to get to reception, but they aren't really an issue. The boys meet you on the exterior of the city and walk you and your luggage into the hotel. Too easy. This time we stayed on the top.floor. Terrace Room W.O.W. The staff are friendly, professional and a little sassy ... exactly our preference. Need to have a good belly laugh every now & then I say. Will stay there any time we're in Split.

55.- Euro per day for a Parking Spot on a street about 15 min walk from the hotel! not acceptable at all! Even a transport to the car early mornings wasn't possible.. not even for a extra fee. poor service. TV wasn't working for two days as well, even after we informed the staff. at the first view it was a dream but at the end i wouldn't recommend the hotel at all. for this money you can have much betters in Split.

The property is very convenient to everything in the old-town area. The staff is engaging and helpful. The hotel is the “classic Croatia” experience you’re looking for - stone walls, wooden ceilings, shuttered windows, perfect courtyard cafe. But it has everything you need/expect including modern bathrooms and good a/c. I would absolutely stay here again.

I booked a room at Judita Palace on a whim after reading the Expedia reviews. I thought surely some of these reviews could be fake - what hotel has this many 5-star reviews?! Indeed, it’s a great stay and one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in throughout the world. Incredible location, soundproof windows, rich history, clean & well-appointed rooms, good breakfast, friendly and charming staff. I will long remember the mere 19 hours I stayed here. Definitely accept the chauffeur service if arriving from the airport. Worth the slightly added cost.

I wish there was a 10 star for staff. We were welcomed, treated like royalty and family at the same time. Breakfast was phenomenal and plentiful. Everyone worked as a complete and no detail was left undone. The rooms are gracious in size and amenities. 10 stars all the way!

We were so well taken care of during the 4 night stay. They proactively gave us travel advice to reach Split, and to ensure we could find the hotel in the Old City area, a porter with a golf cart was sent to the ferry pier to meet us . When we left, a porter led to the Uber spot. Everything seamless. The hotel itself is pretty, clean, safe and convenient.

The location is in the heart of old town and is wonderful. The staff is incredible, quirky(in a good way), helpful, warm. They are every superlative though can imagine. I understand this is an historic hotel and there are certain limitations of what can be renovated. The rooms are dark and can use more lighting. The bathroom was excellent and complete sly modernized.

Location is awesome. Room was very nice. People were incredible. Service was great. Wi-fi was spotty and slow. Bath tub drain kept sticking shut. Showering in 4 inches of water not fun. With just a couple of improvements, this place would be perfect!

Everything was wonderful. Met and escorted to hotel from taxi, room with balcony overlooking the Square was great. Wide choice of healthy breakfast foods. All staff exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Andy in particular was fantastic. Thank you

Such a great experience! The hotel is quaint and in a great location. The service is top notch. We stayed in a room that overlooked the city. The room was large and decorated perfectly. You could open the windows to hear the sounds of the square and people watch. The moment you shut the windows, you’re h a tranquil hideaway tucked up behind the bar and courtyard. The bar had the best limoncello spritz I’ve ever had set in the perfect scene. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

We loved the location on a major square of Split and right anove a very neat nar area. The common rooms were beautiful, a true boutique palace. We had a wonderful room wirh fabulous balcony. The breakfast wascamazing But most of all the staff was very helpfu. Loved that Andrew.

Nothing but amazing things to say about this place, was our home for a week. Perfect location in the heart of everything, and despite that when you close your windows, completely quiet. Staff were super friendly, just what we needed.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home. Every single person went above and beyond, but Andy truly stood out—warm, attentive, and always one step ahead of what we needed. This one of a kind human turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. The hotel itself is lovely and perfectly located in Split - such a charming, walkable town. We loved being able to wander the streets, explore the local spots, and soak in the atmosphere. It was the perfect start to our Croatian journey, and we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. Highly recommend!

The hotel was adorable and the location was great. However, the gem of this hotel is the staff. In particular, Clara was the star of the show. She helped us arrange a day of wine tasting in Hvar and checked in with us every morning. Truly above and beyond - she made our trip truly unforgettable. The rest of the staff was equally as kind and beyond delightful. Absolutely worth the little extra expense for a quality hotel and staff over the alternative mediocre hotels elsewhere in the city.

Our stay was exceptional! Staff advised us on directions to the city gate where they met and accompanied us to the hotel. Andy, Maria, Chris and another lovely desk attendant assisted us with all activities, meals and helped thru more than one ferry complication. The service is exceptional and the location in the old town square is ideal. You would be mistaken to stay elsewhere in Split!

We were so well taken care of during the 4 night stay. They proactively gave us travel advice to reach Split, and to ensure we could find the hotel in the Old City area, a porter with a golf cart was sent to the ferry pier to meet us . When we left, a porter led to the Uber spot. Everything seamless. The hotel itself is pretty, clean, safe and convenient.

Our experience from the moment Chris met us at the Riva to help us with our luggage to the hotel to the moment we left was fantastic. Chris and Marie at the front desk helped us with our every need whether it was dining options, things to do, tips, additional things for the room, etc, MaryAnne was so sweet and helpful with breakfast in the morning and made the most amazing omelettes. The room was absolutely great and very comfortable overlooking the main square and steps away from the west entrance to the palace. The location was great with a convenience store close by if needed and dining options steps away. I wish we were spending more time at the hotel. Wonderful staff

The food at breakfast had something for everyone; the courtyard bar downstairs was also friendly with lots of options. Our room was fab, with its own little patio area to rest in. It honestly couldn’t have been better. Thanks to team Judita Palace for all your care & loveliness.

Outstanding hotel. The location could not have been better. Right in the main piazza! And yet, the windows sealed shut and we could not hear a thing from our bedroom. Staff is friendly, helpful and so kind. Breakfast was amazing. We loved our stay and will come back!

Small, boutique hotel near palace, on a plaza. Room pleasant. Decor nice, somewhat elegant. Desk clerk Carla was great (and she did great job with emails). Other clerk (Andy) was also great. Window into interior (not interesting) courtyard. No restaurant. Price for what we get was unreasonably high, probably due to excellent location. (It is a 4* hotel.) Good lighting. Room wasn't cleaned or made up. No parking - contacted hotel, they told me where to park, fetched us and luggage with a golf cart. On departure, reversed the process.

Nothing but amazing things to say about this place, was our home for a week. Perfect location in the heart of everything, and despite that when you close your windows, completely quiet. Staff were super friendly, just what we needed.

I rarely rave. Hotel Judita is rave worthy. Excellent location in the heart of the palace area. The staff were lovely. Carla in particular at reception was friendly, gracious, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was delicious! And the lady who runs the kitchen is delightful.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Staff will meet you at city entrance and help walk you and your suitcases back to the facility. Hotel was so charming from the lovely bar area to the breakfast buffet. Rooms were well furnished and A/C worked great. 5+ stars for this great little hotel in the heart of Old Town Split!!

Staff were delightful and helpful! They met us at the designated car drop-off point and took our bags and walked with us to the hotel (in the no car zone). The next day they arranged a golf cart-type transfer for us and our luggage to the ACI Marina at no additional cost. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the historic area but not noisy. Rooms were clean, charming and well appointed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

What a great hotel stay. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Only complaint is the small flashing red light on the ceiling smoke detector which can be disruptive when sleeping
